There was a hiccup leading up to the event date (my grandson arrived 20days early) had to push back the date without hesitation Amanda was understanding and accommodating. I contacted the company around 11am and by 1pm, Phil was there, ready to put balloons together! He also came back the following week to inflate a BUNCH of balloons for my daughters 12th bday. We had Bubbles productions send a Sonic for our son's birthday party. We live pretty far from Bowie, about an hour away in VA. We paid a little extra and had the performer do balloon animals as well which was a hit. He was great! When it came time to change costumes, he sprinted outside super fast like Sonic. It was so cute. I confirmed our event twice about 4 days before the event but she NEVER SHOWED UP(face painting/balloon twisting). I called, texted and emailed and no one responded. Our birthday was ruined. After our party was over, performer texted me saying that she got the time wrong and apologized. But it is too late and my son's birthday was already ruined. All the kids were disappointed. I hired Bubbles Productions just a couple of days before my event on Thanksgiving and emailed back and forth with Amanda, who responded quickly and answered all my questions. For the actual event, Lucky the Unicorn (a.k.a. Roy) came to visit my family and also did face painting! Roy was great -- he handled a six-month old baby with ease and it was a great surprise treat for my family. Even the adults had fun with the facepainting! Hired Peppa Pig for an event for my son. The booking process was very smooth and they arrived promptly for the event. The only issue I had was the costume was not put on properly. Peppa's face was smushed in. It scared some of the children. Also Peppa had trouble finding the children. And while making balloons, many were popped in the process. She was very sweet and kind but it's quite possible she may have needed someone else to accompany her that day. read more

Fantastic! My desperate last minute search for a face painter landed me at Amanda and Bubbles Productions. Amanda confirmed the appointment and was very professional letting me know about minor scheduling adjustments as well as keeping me informed when she was unavoidably running late from her previous appointment. Bubbles Productions provided a balloon twister for Macaroni Kids Back to School Bash on August 18th, 2013. Our artist was EARLY and got started right away so there would be a stash in case kids got impatient waiting in line and saw something they wanted already made. With over 25 kids at our event she did an amazing job getting each kid a balloon in the hour with PLENTY of time to fix ones the kids popped/untwisted. Before leaving she also made a stash of extras and told me where they were in case we had anymore casualties after she left. I believe the artist went above and beyond to keep the KIDS happy! I was planning my daughter's 5 birthday party. It was the Frozen theme. We spent a lot of money for everything such as decoration, food, games and gifts. We hired princess Elsa from bubble productions. It wasn't pleasing experience with the princess. Princess couldn't speak English properly. Her costume and hair were very messy. I was told that she is good with entertaining kids. Princess Elsa was not able to engage kids at all. I wish I could upload a picture of her to justify my review. The weather suddenly turned about 2 hours for the party and it was feared that everthing would need to be rescheduled. So I called to let them know that we were going to re-schedule due to the threat of rain. They were very understanding and pleasant even though it was a last minute cancellation. 20 Min later the sky cleared and we decided to proceed. So I called back and was told no problem, they were prompt, friendly and couteous. They interacted with the children, provided face painting and out popped Mickey Mouse! If I could give a zero rating, I would. I spent months planning my daughter's 3rd birthday at a cute local place. We booked Princess Belle from Bubble Productions based off a photo and recommendation & the person they sent was not the same. They sent someone who did not brush her hair (or wear a wig) and was extremely awkward and not interactive at all with the girls. In fact, two girls said "that isn't Belle" and wouldn't go near her. She said she was a face painter but she couldn't even paint a simple cat on a 3 year old's face. When approached with the feedback from the boutique that arranged the party, Bubble Productions refused to refund the money and came up with a list of excuses. Completely disappointed and embarrassed. One of the mother's from my party saw her on the street and said she looked like "walk of shame Belle." Mortified. read more

For what we paid, We were very underwhelmed. We booked a princess, but we got a "performer" that also fills in as a "back up" lead princess. She painted faces and and balloons but once that was over there wasn't much interaction with the kids.We also paid additional to have extra time for games, however even when the games were suggested she just kinda stood there as if she didn't know what to do. I don't even remember her greeting the kids or saying bye when she left. Dull Rapunzel arrived 45 minutes late for 1.5 hour party. No apologies, just excuses. I would not recommend or ever use again.

I had a 30 minute reservation and paid full price for a less than 10 minute performance. The performer was 10 minutes late, she called at 4:13 PM saying she was 5 minutes late and got there at 4:40 PM, she took her time getting changed into the costume, she forgot something in her car which took up more time from the kids entertainment. Once she was all dressed and ready, she was just standing there not doing anything for 5 minutes than she turned on the music which she only danced to 2 songs, there was no interaction what so ever with the kids. She did stay to sing Happy Birthday and to take pictures with the kids. Later on that day when I texted Amanda to tell her what happened, she was nonchalant about it. She acted like she didn't care at all. Needlessly to say I won't use this company OR recommend this company to anyone. read more

My initial reservation that had been made months ago with another company, turned out to be a complete bust and I was super frantic calling around to anyone that advertised about character rentals. Bubbles Productions was Awesome. We hire them for a Sesame Street theme on 2/27/16, and we got their Red Monster. She was communicative about her ETA and plans for how to entertain the kids. She entered with the theme song we provided, and took pictures with the kids. She informed me about our stop time, and was able to do face painting before our time ended.
