One of the biggest things my husband and I wanted for our wedding was to have a good time and party the entire reception and that's exactly what we got. Kyle did amazing - we gave him an idea of the vibe we wanted and a couple of song suggestions and he took that and went above and beyond. We gave him complete control to pick the music for cocktail hour and dinner and it was awesome. I could feel the fun energy during cocktail hour, even though I was getting pictures taken in another location. Hiring Mixing Maryland was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were not only amazing at what they do, but they were wonderful to work with. They even helped me figure out some timeline logistics with my coordinator because we wanted everything to flow smoothly and have maximum time on the dancefloor. I'm also a COVID bride and we had to reschedule my wedding from October 2020. They were extremely flexible and communicative during that time and we worked together to find a new date that worked for my vendors. They made everything super easy. If you want a good time at your wedding or party - hire Mixing Maryland. You will not be disappointed!!

I just needed someone to help me execute the day of and to coordinate with all my vendors. I found Yosira via Instagram using the hashtag (I think - #dmvweddingdayofcoordinator or something like that). To provide some color, my wedding was scheduled for October 5th, 2019 and I started searching for a day of coordinator around middle of August 2019. I did not have the luxury of time and I really appreciated Yosira's quick response. I reached out to her using her website. I received a response from her within 24 hours and she scheduled a call to discuss within a few days. After our call, I received an invoice. So, between the day I reached out and getting an invoice was probably 5 - 7 days max. It was very efficient process, which I really appreciated. Working with Yosira was a breeze! She was amazing to work with. She was very thorough, understood my vision and executed on my vision impeccably. She has a great eye for detail. She asked really great questions and thought about things I didn't even remember / consider. She helped me with finding food and drink vendors. The wedding was perfectly time managed. All my vendors knew where to be and what time to show up. She had a very structured timeline that she shared with me and communicated to the vendors. For the service and execution she rendered, I'd have happily paid 25% more than the quote because it was such an excellent service. She went above and beyond on my expectations and I highly recommend her!

And unlike most brides, I got to enjoy my dinner which was fabulous, because I knew Heidi was making sure everything was going smoothly. And to top it off-- she even brought some leftover soy candles (she hates waste) for free and had them lit on the tables and around the room so it all looked stunning as the sun set. She helped with every detail and was so caring during the event, most people thought she was a relative. There were a couple of potential snafus that could have happened (not her fault at all, it was something to do with the building) and she said, "don't worry, I got this." And she did. Everyone told me how much they loved the space, the food, and the whole vibe of the reception. Heidi is a big reason why.
