On January 25, 2025, I took my 2018 Toyota Tundra for an oil change with Take 5. After I received…read morethe oil change I was told that the drain plug was stripped and would not tighten to hold the oil in the oil pan. So Management inform me that they could not fix the drain plug, so, what could I do except go home. I got home I started noticing oil puddles on my new concrete driveway. I contacted take 5 the people that changed the oil and ask what they could do about the leak. They notified me that one of upper management would contact me about a solution, which at this point I have not received a call. I needed to get the drain plug fixed, so I ended up buying an oil pan at a cost of $80.00 and a $30.00 gasket. Unfortunately, every shop I called could not get to the replacement for 2 weeks which means I was without a vehicle for at least 2 weeks. The Take 5 company should not do oil changes without the capability of fixing anything involving the oil change. They should have been able to repair the stripped plug at their shop. I know for a fact that the drain plug was not stripped before taking my vehicle to get service at TAKE 5. One final note ---- I will NOT take any of our vehicles to TAKE 5 for oil changes or anything else, they have lost our business and I will tell anyone that ask me about oil changes not to use TAKE 5.

He went and got the fluid i needed and put it in for me. I chose the break flush. when I came to pick up my car the manger told me that they could not get the key to go into the ignition switch. I told him that I never had that problem before. I could not start my car. I was very upset and the manger had the nerve to tell me that it was like that when I brought the car in, which was not true. If that was the case then how come it was not on the service list? He told me that he could try to fix it but that I would have to pay for the parts. Three days later still not fixed. I had to have my car tow to the dealership. On of top that I had black stuff on my tan carpet where the mechanic was trying to fix the ignition switch. Plus, there was a fresh large scratch on the passenger side of my car and he tells me that it was already there before I brought the car in, which was not true. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a car shop. You drive your car in and have tow it out.

The day after my oil change here, my check engine light came on and it had never come on before so I took it to a repair shop to have it checked out. The Mechanic said that who ever worked on my SUV last, (Jiffy Lube) had messed with a hose and didn't tighten it back good. Ended up costing me $60 to have it checked and the hose tightened. Fast forward to a couple of days ago when I decided to go somewhere else for an Oil Change, they told me that Jiffy Lube had NOT changed the Oil Filter because it was the SAME one that this other place had put in a year ago!! I have had Friends & Family who have had their Vehicles messed up by going here and out hundreds to thousands of Dollars because of Jiffy Lube. I will never go back.

I sat there for 3 1/2 hours and my truck was never even looked at. Every time I asked about an update I was told I was next but they did three different cars before me. Why make appointments if you are not going to stand by that. The previous time that I had the tires installed I called to make an appointment to get new tires installed and I dropped it off at 8am again and it took them 2 days to get my tires installed. I will never be back at that place. The biggest waste of time and money.

Oil changes anything like that they do a great job on. Now for the bad, I've been going there and getting my tires rotated for a while now. I even bought at least two of the tires there. Just last time I was told that they could not and would not rotate my tires because there's a date on there of a year and that they could no longer rotate anything more than five years old. I was real disappointed because this was going to be the last time they were rotated and then I was going to invest fairly soon in New tires from there. When I questioned why in all these terms that I've had them rotated nobody suggested that this would take place. I'm basically was told that this is possibly a new rule for the company. And it was most likely not dislocation's fault. So my suggestion? I will always recommend an oil change there. But I've kind of got a bad taste in my mouth now over the tires and the fact that I pretty much made the appointment and was pretty much to know because of something the company has decided. I promise for sure. I will continue going there for my oil changes because I would never ask for a better experience with oil changes.
