Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout. While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. CFR committed may have committed fraud in a legal settlement that specified Chicago Flat Roof as the solar power's property damage repair entity by sending a sub-contractor to install our new roof without informing us, the customer, so that CFR can claim they did not do the work and completely neglect their warranty. CFR's subcontractor work failed 3 Village Inspections and then our roof was coming apart less than a year after installation. CFR is ignoring us for repair, not returning our calls or emails. For months, I have repeatedly emailed Terry Miller and to their info@ at this company without any response. We are actual customers. Many businesses like this post positive ratings & reviews from their employees, their families, and friends, not from actual customers. Slow: Weeks and weeks went by without their procuring a roof permit. New membrane extended over the drip edge sides of the home. Disrespectful: They came out unannounced and left behind remaining instances of roof installation issues.
