Here's how they stood out: They had excellent communication. From Angelo's estimate all the way to passing inspection, they were on top of their game. The estimate had every combination of options listed with exactly what they were going to do and photos of the planned work. We were assigned a field supervisor (Justin, I believe?) who would come out on the same day to inspect any issues we brought up. Our contact with the office via Cindy and Anthony was also superb and always timely. The work was done swiftly and well. The roofers were done before I got back from work. Siding and gutters are more involved, but they did excellent there as well and Roman et al. were excellent to work with, took feedback very well (see communication above), and were very hard and efficient workers. All in all, we were done with our project long before other houses in the same subdivision who had all signed up with doorknocker companies, and they delivered a high level of quality. To be clear, their estimate was slightly higher (my gut says 10% higher, but it's been a while since I reviewed the proposals) than some other offers we received, but for the work that we were doing, level of customization, and communication, we wouldn't make a different choice. Absolutely a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Siding and Windows Group!

I'm usually not one to spend time getting a bunch of quotes and just rely on Yelp reviews to make a purchasing decision, but this was pricey enough purchase that i figured I should do my due diligence.' Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

I called multiple places trying to find someone to come out and assess the damage and fix it. A number of places never brothered responding, and a couple actually set up appointments and then didn't show up. After hunting around for more places to call that were decently rated, I came across Holda Construction and I am so glad that I did. They called me back promptly to discuss and asked me to send pictures. After I sent photos, they got in touch and set up a time to come out for a quote within an hour, for the next day. Mariusz came out the next day, as promised (he even called to see if he could come a little earlier than scheduled) and assessed the situation. He explained the options and what his recommendation was- but there was no pressure to agree to the work on the spot- he just asked that I call and let him know if I wanted to move forward, His quote was extremely fair and better yet, he was able to start the work within the week. When I had questions on the contract he sent over, he immediately called to talk through them, and sent an updated quote the same day. The work took two days- the guys took care of everything, including a very thorough clean up- no debris to be found! And our new garage roof and gutters look great- and we now know that they have been properly installed, so we shouldn't have a repeat of the same issues we had experienced before. I cannot say enough good things about the experience with Holda Construction. When we need the house roof and/or windows done, they will ones we call- no question. Highly recommended!

The addition needed the entire roof replaced, and they came highly recommended to me by a coworker. I went with them and we are so glad we did. They came out to quote, and Chris the Project Manager was really thorough and explained everything that needed to be done. He mentioned if anything was uncovered what would also have to happen. We felt really confident in choosing them for the job. Yes the quote was higher than the roofer we had in during the inspection of the property, however, that roofer is listed in these reviews as a company that AB had to help a customer fix their work, so we were fine with the pricing. During the roof replacement we found we needed additional work done, but this was all discussed upfront as a possibility, so was not a surprise. The work was done quickly, and so well. Fast forward to March, and there was a leak that was in our master bathroom. The contractor on the house has been shady and not wanting to help with this as he "never touched the roof". We decided to finally just go back to AB as we knew they would help quickly and do the best job possible. They also knew about this issue back in December when they were doing the other project, and were there to help if needed they said. How great is that, knowing they would do the work for us and feeling good about it because they really cared. So, I called up Chris the PM, and he got here in about a week. Took a day to do the majority of the work, and even an additional cosmetic fix because of that crazy windstorm we had. They have about one more day left of work, not even, and that was because it rained the other day. We are fully confident that this has fixed the leak, and we can now get to work on the interior fixes in the bathroom. I cannot recommend them more. Go with them, even if they might have a higher quote then another roofer. You will not regret it!

We had two condo units in our building update windows as well as two back hallway windows, and Jacob provided a highly competitive quote. He was kind and patient when we waited for other unit owners in the building to decide, and did not push us to move quicker or make a decision when we were not yet ready. Ordering windows took a few weeks and teams on install day moved swiftly and kept the area clean after! I also want to note that we live on the 3rd floor of a condo building and many contractors said they could not install and/or needed additional materials, external infrastructure and costs to do the project, but Jacob made it seamless with bringing windows up the stairs, and doing an internal install, which incurred no extra install costs. This was also great as it did not impact our neighbors and kept the project contained and clean. Jacob really cares about being transparent and has earned our trust, and I would 100% recommend him and his team to anyone looking to install new windows in their home. Overall, we really highly recommend Jacobs 1 Construction! I cannot say enough great things about the quality of their work, competitive pricing, and their dedication to their customers.
