I love Top Pot Doughnuts and always want to get one when we are visiting somewhere that has them. This location is in a darling area. The people working there when we visited were super friendly and helpful. We had a lemon and a pumpkin old fashioned, they were fantastic.

What a nice gem in Kirkland area. They don't necessarily have ton of flavors or bacon bits (hubby's favorite), but the dozen sampler we got was a delightful addition to our morning.

Why does this have barely any stars? I go to this Top Pot a lot and they are very nice, considerate and friendly. Its in a really cute space! There is lots of doughnuts there too. The coffee is really good. My favorite is the plain coffee with the chocolate bar doughnut. Perfect place i come here like 4 times a week and never had any bad service. Just its tiny then average any bigger and I would wish I could do 6 stars!

Craving donuts while visiting Kirkland from Texas. I've had Top Pot years ago in downtown Seattle so I'm familiar with the quality and flavors. I don't know about the other bad reviews but these are tasty, hearty and soft donuts! I didn't take a pick of the half dozen we bought because we dug in too fast . I really liked the strawberry glazed yeast donut and the blueberry cake. I actually packed the raspberry chocolate cake and chocolate frosted cake for my trip back and let me tell you they were just as delicious eating the next day! Top Pot is a classic... service was good! Don't pass it up if you're looking for a good fulfilling donut!

YUM! It's dangerous having a doughnut place within walking distance, but I'm so happy this place is finally open! We came in and decided to get a half dozen to take home with us. The guy who served us was really friendly and helpful. It was really hard to only pick six doughnuts so he made some suggestions for what was popular and was very patient with our indecisiveness. The place is obviously very new, but it's also clean and the doughnuts were fresh. I do like that the doughnut case has one of everything in it, and when you pick an doughnut they get a fresh one from the trays on the side. There's also Top Pot merch you can get as well from a little range of options on the side. While we were there, it started bucketing down really crazily, so we decided to stay a few minutes and wait out the storm. The guy who had been serving us was super nice and offered us water while we waited, and also put our doughnut box in a plastic bag so they wouldn't get wet. I'll definitely be back. After all, this will be my new local!

    Bavarian Cream and Large Coffee

I came in here for a Sunday morning donut and coffee last week. The staff was very friendly. I rarely eat donuts, but when I do, it's usually a Bavarian cream. That is the crème de la crème of donuts. This one was average, but good. Here comes the disappointing part...wait for it...the coffee. It was 9am and it wasn't very hot. And it also wasn't very good. With a name like Top Pot, I would expect some higher quality Joe. This place wins for proximity to fresh donuts. However, you'd be much better off taking your donut to go and hitting up the Starbucks a few steps away for your coffee.

Not sure why this place has a non-stellar rating, the donuts are really good. Its our go-to donut place in Kirkland area.

They are notorious for ferocious private parking meter-readers (not part of the city). Be sure to read the sign before leaving the vehicle. The Drinks and Food: Chocolate Oolong Milk Tea, $6.75(L) - 3.5 Stars The cashier said this is their most popular drinks. It still tasted quite sweet at 30% sweetness. Hubby said it tastes more like a chocolate milk. Ding it, he's right. (See what I did there.) Egg Coffee, $6.25 - 4 Stars Egg coffee is a northern Vietnamese specialty. Being in a paper cup takes away some of the charm, but such as is the U.S. lifestyle. It tasted as expected, a stronger, more roasted Viet coffee flavor. Mango Ice Tea, $6.75 - 3.5 Stars This is more of a mango drink with some tea taste - very fruity tea. Pandan Bubble Waffle, $7 - 4 Stars I came the second time mostly for this waffle. Served with whip cream and toasted coconut flake, the cashier looked at me like I grew an extra eye when I said whip cream only, no coconut. She literally didn't know how to respond to me. I am guessing they pre-pack the cream with the coconut already in it, and she didn't have time to pack another one. She handed us the bag with what we didn't want and left. I should lower the rating more, but I do like this waffle.

I ended up parking near the small plaza with the UPS Store and Nothing Bundt Cakes, and it was only about a 3-minute walk to get there. When I walked in around 9:30 AM on a Tuesday, it was already pretty packed. There were a lot of people on their laptops, grabbing coffee, and just hanging out, it felt super lively. I love the overall environment of downtown Kirkland, so I was really excited to finally try this spot since it's been on my radar for a while. I was also meeting a friend, which made the experience even better. I ordered their pizza scone, and it looked so good, and it definitely delivered. It was warm, crusty, and had such a unique flavor combination. I've honestly never had anything like it before, and it just felt perfect for a spring morning. I also got a hot chocolate, which wasn't my favorite. It leaned more on the watery side. The space itself is really nice and spacious. They have plenty of seating in both the front and back, which is great whether you're meeting friends or getting work done. Their menu is also pretty extensive, with options like sandwiches, pastries, drip coffee, matcha, vanilla lattes pretty much everything you'd expect from a café. One thing I appreciated was how fast the service was. Our order came out in less than two minutes, which was impressive, especially given how busy it was. The staff were also super friendly, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe here. Even though the hot chocolate could've been better, I'd still definitely come back and try more items.

The staff at the counter was friendly and professional, and I appreciated that they asked about my milk preference rather than assuming. I ordered the lavender mocha, which was flavorful and well balanced. It was served hot, but not overly hot, so I could enjoy it right away. This is clearly a laptop-friendly café. There are power outlets and extension cords available throughout the space, which makes it a great place to settle in and get some work done without feeling rushed. One thing to keep in mind is that, since it's located downtown, parking can be a bit challenging and may require some patience if you're driving. Overall, Zoka is a solid downtown coffee spot with good drinks, attentive service, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.
