It now sounds more akin to concert instruments I played at school! The action went from relatively loose and inconsistent to tight, even, and very responsive. The touch tapers precisely with the movement of my hands so every nuance is revealed. Scott is an excellent communicator both when setting an appointment (email, phone, and txt) as well as in-person (e.g. while discussing my concerns about noise in the sustain pedal's movement, questions about the condition of the instrument, placement in the room, etc.) No way I could recommend Scott enough!

I got Cobrun as a technician and he was so friendly and patient with answering my questions. It was most impressive that after playing a few notes on my baby grand, he knew right away that it was tuned in Well Temperament and asked if I wanted to keep the tuning system. I had a hammer repaired and tuning from Well-Tempered to Equal Temperament. My other baby grand received a standard tuning and Cobrun adjusted the action on the lower octaves so that they all play without sticking and resistance. It was also especially comforting to see that they have their safety precautions for dealing with COVID in place: masks, social distancing, not touching door handles, etc. I appreciate that these folks did a lot to address concerns with the health of my pianos especially during this especially hard time.

His attention to detail is unmatched in this current business strategy. High communication during the re-fret process, with clear descriptions and many photos. I will trust all my guitars with Robert. I've been playing that guitar for a while now (JS1200 from 2006, autographed and drawn on by Joe Satriani; I asked him to draw something on the front of the headstock and autograph the back of the headstock; whom I met pre-show in Dallas) and I wore the frets out! I had the neck truss turned, the bridge raised, just to make it playable. I got it back from Robert and the neck was arrow straight, the bridge reset and the frets! The frets were smooth and the edges/ends were rounded and very easy to play. The fret work is amazing. They are such a great clean job that I find myself playing this JS1200 more than my other guitars, again! Like an old friend coming home. Robert also did above that which was asked, he oiled the scratchy pots and cleaned the board and body. The care taken to repackage it for shipping is something others need to learn from. He was aware that the sharpie wasn't the best for drawing on the headstock, and he took great care not to touch either the autograph or the drawing. This was a couple months ago, and I wanted to play the guitar for a while to get a feel for it. The cost was very fair. I will send my guitars to Robert every time!
