Ok so I have to say this company exceeded my expectations I am a small business owner and I was in a bit of a jam . I needed to get a new lock for my door . I contacted him through Yelp and with in less then 30 minutes he replied beat my competitor price wise & finished the job . My situation was a little complicated due to rust & lock issues but the service was phenomenal , the technician was over qualified & was straight up honest with me . If you are in need for a new lock or are searching for quality service & reasonable reliable people who give you options and not try to kill you with prices I strongly commend this company !! read more

Hung up on me when asked for a key to be cut never gave me a chance or other options.. why

Lost my 08 Honda civic keys and Top lock did this super fast and did a great job. Totally worth the price.

Highly recommend Top Lock. They were very responsive, pleasant to deal with and did the job quickly. I lost the key to my safe with important documents inside. They were able to open the safe and really helped me out! read more

Excellent reliable service in Hicksville. This small business is amazing with great product and service

Called for a duplicate key for an Audi Q7 and they said they could make it. I called several other locksmith to see different prices and every single one said go to Audi for the key we can't do it. Well not only did Top Lock do it but they did it at a significant savings over going to Audi. They were courteous, respectful, professional and extremely attentive throughout the whole process. They order the key for you then come out and program it. Everyone from the office staff to Mark the tech who came out to program it were just incredible. I highly recommend Top Lock for all your locksmith needs. You will not be disappointed! read more

If you ask them why them, they'll give you the most elaborate answer you'd never expect, but that's because they can. They are THAT good. When I first called, I told them I was shopping around and they said they rather work with me than to lose the business altogether. They also said that everywhere else would give you one price, then a service call and they might not even be any good. I have to say, after calling 5 places, they were right. They still had the best price and the best service. I called the morning of and they were at my house that night. My appointment was for 7PM and they showed up right on time and got everything done before 7:30PM. I was so surprised and so happy with the service I received from Ricky. He knew what he was doing, was very pleasant and patient and most importantly, he got the job done. I would definitely recommend Top Lock again and highly advise you give them a call and at least talk to them. They'll definitely change your mind if you're on the fence. read more

I had an issue with my house locks. Ner came and fixed it. What a great guy so pleasant. When I need a locksmith I am asking for Ner. He is professional, intelligent, honest, and did the job quickly. Finally, an honest person who doesn't take advantage. Ner is such an asset to your company Thank you, Ner! read more

Moved into new house had to re-key three locks. They were there in an hour or so and it only took about 30-40 mins to get done. Locksmith was fast and professional. Would hire them again for any other locks needed to be changed and done. read more

My daughter was locked out of our house, nine months pregnant, nowhere to go. I contacted Top Lock, they promised to have somebody there in 20 minutes, and they did! Apparently it was not an easy lock to open, but the technician persevered. He was polite and efficient. Would definitely use them again read more

Great service. Efficient. Locked my keys in my trunk, they arrived in 20 minutes. Keys were saved in 10. Thanks for being efficient, respectful & professional read more

Showed up when promised. Quick and easy, informative, and price was exactly what they promised. Thanks!

Firstly, I'm not the type of person to go out of my way to leave a negative review. I called them, they told me I can come in to have my key programmed to the car. I called to make sure if I need an appointment or if now is an okay time to get the job done. I arrive and after some confusion they tell me the person that could do the job left on a call. --- this was fine as things happen. They told me to make up for it, they would just send a tech later to my residence to do the job at same rate as in store. Which I accepted. - I receive no call regarding someone coming to my residence to do the job. I call them later on the same day AND the next day, they take my phone number for a second/third time. It's been 4 days and yet no one bothered. I really hate to do this, but this was not courteous of them as a business and I had already lost about 45 min of driving in my first trip of being told to come in and then being informed sorry the person left for another job despite being told I'm coming. I wish the business had lived up to their word of getting the job done, but NO. They had 3 chances to get the job done, but they were unprofessional. read more

Amazing service, quick and super friendly. Highly recommend!! Locked myself out of the house at night and they came in 15 mins

We took over a retail space but landlord did not have the keys to the doors, only the code to unlock the doors. I'm guessing maybe the previous tenant left on bad terms. Anyhow, to be on the safe side we called Top Lock Locksmiths to help us re-key the two locks and if possible reset the codes. I was given a quote which I thought was very reasonable. Two gentlemen showed up on time and assessed the situation. I knew it would be a tough situation because the original keys would be needed to reset the code, which we didn't have. The guys worked their magic, was able to re-key both locks AND reset the codes for us. I think they spent about 2 hours on the job, was so patient and very professional. In the end I was charged the original quoted price even though they spend 2 hours on site. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a locksmith. read more

Really disappointed with the service we received from Top Lock, especially after reading all these great reviews. My fiancée and I just bought a new home in Bellmore and we obviously wanted to change the locks when we moved in. After reading good reviews, my fiancée called Top Lock, who said they would be at the house at around noon. When noon came and went with no sign of them, he called to see where they were and was told they were 20 min away. After waiting AN HOUR he called again to see where they were. Again, he was told they were 20min away. He needed to make sure he was on the road to make it to my sister's wedding rehearsal dinner by a certain time, so he said if they weren't at the house by 1.30, he was going to just leave. Literally as he was getting in his car to go after waiting an additional 30min, the van showed up. An hour and a half late, despite being 20min away when he first called after they missed their appointment time. The reason I even give Top Lock 2 stars is because they were able to change the locks quickly and efficiently once they actually showed up, but it was ridiculous to have to wait around while continuously being told they were nearby. read more

Called Top Lock because of its rating and reviews on this sight. Spoke with Matt, discussed the issue and he was there on the job in less than 3 hours! Diagnosed and fixed. If I ever need a locksmith again, this is who I'll call. Highly recommended. read more

Overall negative experience. Matt decided not to show up to appointment or bother calling to notify. Not acceptable or professional. Missing appointments usually isn't a big deal, but it took several phone calls to even initiate the process to establish an appointment in the first place. read more

Today I was locked in my home. Yep, that's right... Locked in. So I figured I would look on YELP to locate a locksmith. My local locksmith is so over priced I just couldn't justify using him. I read the reviews And figured I would call "Toplock" after 9:00am. My husband said try even though it was much earlier. Sure enough I got a real person on the phone, explained my problem, and within 20 minutes he was here. Matt, the owner came to resolve the problem. No catches, no gimmicks, no sales pitch. He is a very nice, informative, and professional young man. He did an excellent job and was truly an excellent experience I needed resolved quickly and reasonably priced. I would totally recommend Toplock to my friends (and I did already) and use him again. read more

Had locks changed in our new home. Same-day appt availability, fair and transparent pricing, and courteous and quick service. Excellent!

I lost the keys to my car and Top Lock came to the rescue. They were on time and within just a few minutes I was back in my car and had a brand new key. Best of all, they stayed true to the price they quoted, which was fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs quick and efficient service. read more

Highly recommended!! They were very helpful over the phone, answered all my questions. Locked myself out of my store freaking out because we had no keys to get in!! They were very quick, I wasn't even off the phone with the dispatcher yet and the guy was standing in front of my store waiting to help! Very polite and very quick-- didn't break or even damage my lock(two doors) very reasonable price! Would definitely recommend Top Lock! Thanks!! read more

These guys were excellent. Made me a new key, fob and programmed it all within 30 mins. I needed a duplicate key for my 04 Accord and they had me come in to get the work done. They went to work as soon as I arrived. They lived up to quoted price. I was done and everything worked well. Owner Matt was quick to respond to all my inquiries via Yelp. Great service all around. I will use them in the future. read more

When I moved into my house I called Top Lock Locksmiths for two reasons. One, to rekey the locks on the house and two, to add a lock to the garage door which currently didn't have a lock. The guy came and rekeyed the two locks and took a look at the garage door and said it would be about $420 to put a lock on the garage door and he would have to come back to do that another time. Problem one: After a few days I thought that I was an idiot who didn't know how to lock my front door because every time I locked it, the lock would unlock. Without knowing it I was leaving my new house unlocked all day and night for a few days. When I called them up to say there was some sort of problem with the lock they acted like I was an idiot. They even suggested that someone was breaking in and asked if I had anything missing from the house. I assured them that no one broke in but that the lock was broken. They sent someone the next day (a different person than the person who originally came) and after looking at it he said yes, the first person did it wrong so that the bolt wasn't actually going all the way in so that's why it wound't lock. He fixed it and that was that. Problem two: After thinking about it we decided to add the garage door lock even thought it seemed expensive at $420. I called them up and said we were ready to go ahead. They said someone would call me back because they have to come and measure. After a week with no return call, I called them again and got the same story. Again, no call back. This went on for about a month. They continuously told me that someone would come to measure it and no one would call or come. Finally I called them and told them that I've been calling for a month and getting the run around. I asked if they didn't want to do this job or if they couldn't do it. They said someone would call me back! I told the person if I don't get a call back that day I am calling another company and leaving a bad review on Yelp. Needless to say, they never called back. So then I called another company that was able to do it for $190 which is less that half the price they were going to charge me! The other company came and said they can put a simple lock it for $190, they came back the next day to complete the job and I now have a lock on my garage door. read more

Top Lock did an awesome job installing new keyless entry locks for my house. Nothing like new secure locks for the home. Matt and his team were great. Super communication. Great service. Not enough good things to say. read more

Top lock and locksmith Matt H. was the best locksmith service I have ever experienced. He responded quickly and installed and brand new lock for our apartment in great time. I was locked out of my apartment and called Top Lock solely because I remembered a little piece I saw on MSNBC regarding locksmith. Apparently EVERYONE rips you off and so MSNBC did a little undercover camera operation to see how badly these locksmiths were taking advantage of people that were vulnerable. And true to word, every locksmith that the undercover team called tried to rip the customer off. EXCEPT Top Lock. Only locksmith that provide quick and reliable service (some of the fraudulent locksmith attempted to remove the lock in order to charge more for the service), simply picking the lock in a minute or so and charging the customer the industry set rate. remembering that, i called Top Lock and was not disappointed. Arrived right when he said he would and simply picked the lock and charged a great price. read more

So, no summer can go without an "I'm locked out of my summer home" story. Yes, I was completely sober and went to walk the dog when my cousin walks out behind me and closes the door not knowing that the bottom lock automatically locks. I found this business on Yelp and the owner was extremely polite, informative, and helpful. Let me know the price immediately and even knocked some money off when I mentioned his deal on Yelp that would not have been beneficial to me and the services I needed. He arrived in good time and it took him less than 10 minutes to unlock the door. The best part, he takes cards. If I ever get locked out again when I'm out on Long Island I would definitely use this locksmith again. read more
