I've used these guys for several years. They are fast, friendly and clean. But I've replaced the…read morethermopile in my gas logs twice and the valve and it has never worked right. Instead my logs keep cutting in and out. The problem is that I get work done off season. So by the time I use the fireplace, I'm outside their warranty. Today I emailed them to see what could be done to solve my problems and was told that parts are hard to come by due to the age of the logs, and that a new valve assembly would be $1,000. Jumped on the internet and found the valve readily available at less than $200. So, don't confuse friendly with effective. Everyone in the company is super nice, but I have spent roughly $1000 with this company and still have the same problem. Oh, and I did tell the installer last time right after he replaced the valve that it had cut out, and he said it was probably because it was new. I am not going to use them again.

I called again so that I could make an appointment for the work they said need to be done on the outside of our Chimney. Still waiting for a response. Which includes setting up an appointment for the additional work need outside of my Chimney with the brick work. I do appreciate their honesty about for safety reasons to not use the fireplace.
