Was looking for something fun to do for a mother son day on Groupon and came across this place. The staff was so nice and informative and I think I found a new hobby. I definitely will be back.

Always a great experience shooting here ... Staff is friendly and most important it is safe ...The range was clean and well-maintained. I'll definitely visit again to get some more target practice.

Visited Top Gun on a triple date with a Groupon that provided an hour of time and 5 hours. Before going, it turned out a friend of my partners knew the owner and was aware of the times they get busy. As a result we were warned not to go between 1pm-3pm on a Saturday as it gets super busy at that time. As a result, we got there around 12/12:30 and signed liability forms as our groups arrived. After waiting maybe 10 minutes after our full group arrived, it was very clear that coming earlier was a great idea. More folks starting showing up after for archery. We did our Groupon thing and bought the targets for $1 each, and then were shown the ropes on how everything works. It's all pretty straightforward and it would be explained if you decide to go so I won't get into it. The archery section has 10 lines in total, meaning wait times can get long if bigger groups kept showing up and doing at least an hour. So really recommend going earlier than the time you want to start. It looks like kids are allowed to do archery as long as an adult is accompanying them. Regardless, the whole time you're there, you're being supervised by someone who lets you know when it's ok to cross the line or not. She was pretty good at keeping an eye on the ones who seem to be struggling the most and did spent most of the time closer to the section where the child was. Archery itself was fun. You might get unlucky and get an arrow or two that might not "click" to the now as well as others, but once you get the hang of it - you don't need the click to be able to shoot off an arrow to hit the target. The bows seem ok, but it's my first time doing archery so I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a good bow or a bad one. They do seem to have big ones and then smaller ones, and give you bows based on your physical build (I got the small one). Either way, if you're an avid fan, it does look like they let you bring your own bows as someone showed up and made the rest of us look like peasants with his nice bow and amazing aim. Not sure about arrows though. Overall, it was a fun experience and I plan to go again to try to get a bullseye (I failed miserably).

Ask the Community - Top Gun Indoor Range

How much is it for the archery range?

How are they handling ammunition sales? Is there limits?

I believe the ammo is only for those using the range or purchasing a FA from them. Prices are reasonable, but I've only bought ammo for the range so I was getting "range ammo". No issue with amount

Would they be able to help me set up my new compound bow?

    I think so

    Is the gun range open?

Yes both gun range bays are open along with our archery range and pro shop.

Some things are comparable in price. I came here recently because I needed some boots for my kids for snow. I knew I could get some online but I wanted them to try it on. They have a nice selection of boots and I had them try some on. Ended up getting them each boots again the price was pretty even to the online selection. They also have all sorts of ski equipment as well as thermals and clothes. The service is also outstanding. When I walked in I was instantly greeted and someone was quickly there to help me select shoes. My only complaint was that they had a lot of sizes out of stock. But if they are it in Miami I get why they don't have a lot of stock.

Today i came back because of an upcoming camping trip. Again found good service to point out and assist with new boots, gloves, beanie caps, jackets. Very much appreciated considering this is south Florida with limited selections. LOL! Staff is odd, somewhat halfway want to help you but apathetic reserved. A strange vibe to say the least. Perhaps because they are situated on the second floor via elevator? It's also the same from my last visit a few years ago. Nonetheless, not northern hospitality, but at least I found what was looking for
