Either way, I must review my meal tonight at the Noodle Bar inside the Soboba Casino and Resort in San Jacinto, CA. Tonight we decided to run over to the Casino for some Asian food. The Casino is only a few miles from our home so it's an easy decision for us to go there. The Noodle Bar has been our go place to place for great Asian cuisine and we have been going there for quite some time, so we went there again, expecting to order our "Usual Pad Thai with chicken". Tonight we found "Walnut Shrimp" on the menu, one of my personal favorites of all time! I don't know, or even care if it was on the menu previously, it's on the menus now, and it is Fabulous! With out a doubt the Best Walnut Shrimp I have ever eaten. The shrimp was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and the sauce was really special. In addition, this shrimp was "smothered" in walnut's covered in a delicious sauce that was very complementary to the shrimp . We really like this restaurant for Asian cuisine and we will continue to eat here on a regular basis. I highly recommend the Noodle Bar inside the Soboba Resort for a great Asian food experience.

(Especially considering that this restaurant is within the casino.) Table is clean and presentation is nice. I love that the staff greet you from the outside, very good score on customer service. The dining atmosphere was honestly amazing. Decoration is very fancy in a modern vibe and captures a comforting Asian restaurant very well. My issue with the restaurant is their food. I have tried all kinds of Pad Thai. But never once...did I expect a restaurant to make the most bland Pad Thai I have ever tasted. I didn't even think it was possible. The pad thai tasted more soft than chewy, it tasted as if I was eating soba noodles because there is no umami flavor, let alone the sweet and savory taste to the noodles. Not even the chili paste can add even a hint of flavor. The tofu is too soft for my tastes, and lacking in flavor. Same thoughts about the bulgogi, which was also lacking flavor. For quite a large price, I feel very disappointed. However, there was one thing I did enjoy, was the calamari and sauce. Calamari was the perfect mix of chewy and crispy. I savored every bite of that texture. Sauce was tangy and sweet, the kind of flavor I expected in the Pad Thai. I can confirm that the calamari, the atmosphere, and the customer service are recieving the stars. Thank you Noodle Bar for the experiance.

I was immediately greeted (a plus) but after looking around at dirty tables and spills on the floor, it went down hill. After taking my food home, it went down hill again. @$12 for a Waba bowl with a small amount of rice, two broccoli stems, 5 carrot slices and the bud end of a cabbage (that's not edible). The meat looked like chopped beef and the chicken looked like scraps. The crispy dumplings were not crispy but soggy. Sorry but I don't see myself spending @$30 for two 1/2 bowls of scraps again. Two stars - One for the customer service and one for the decor. Hope you do better for the next customer.
