We popped in here about ten minutes before they closed on a Friday, so we put a couple things on hold and said we'd be back the following day (Saturday). When we returned on Saturday, we were very excited and pleased to see they were having a parking lot pop up with a bunch of small businesses! Give yourself plenty of time to go around and look at all the unique treasures this store has to offer. They also are a nonprofit doing great work for the community!! All of the workers were great, having fun demeanors about them. We really enjoyed ourselves here so much.

Cute little thrift shop located on Airport Boulevard. Atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable for what you're getting.

Stopped by for the pop-up event at the new location. I can't wait for new top drawer to open up again. I have been without them too long. This is one of my favorite places to find cool knickknacks and gifts. Today I found a cute sterling silver Girl Scout ring "campfire girls" for a great deal!

I adore this little shop. I love dropping off items for others to claim as treasure knowing it all goes to support HIV+ community works. The store is always clean and looking hella cute with the ever changing displays and mannequin looks. Shop with pride. ‍‍

A thrift/vintage shop that has a purpose. I AM SOLD. I can always shop if it means giving back to the community. Top Drawer is a special place where 100% of the proceeds benefit Project Transition, a non-profit providing assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS in Austin. This shop is so organized and I love how proud and queer this shop is. The display of queer and trans flags was so empowering. To think if I would've seen a shop like this as a child, I would've felt so included as I was discovering myself and my sexual orientation. I found a few pieces that caught my eye, but I found a true gem of a hand sewn vintage sequin top that I'll be saving for Mardi Gras next year. The staff here is so welcoming and I enjoyed learning more about their story. Top Drawer is a safe place and open to all. I can't recommend enough visiting this shop and shopping with a purpose. Plenty of parking out front!

Top Drawer is a forever favorite! I always discover rare finds here, whether it's clothes, housewares or more. I also love that the money I spend while shopping at Top Drawer benefits people in Central Texas living with AIDS, through a program called Project Transitions. The staff are welcoming and very kind. Check them out!

I am an avid traveler and when it comes to traveling I love to visit every single thrift store that is in the area. This is by far the coolest thrift store that i have ever stepped foot in. The staff is AMAZING, so friendly and so nice to answer any questions or help. I got a cute pair of earrings and probably would've stayed wayyyyy longer if more people didn't come in!!! (Social anxiety lol) BUT GO IF YOU EVER ARE CLOSE. Not to mention that it is a non profit thrift store and they donate all of their earnings to others. 10/5 stars

Very fun and quirky place! Lots of cute, interesting knick knacks. Not a huge selection of clothes, and they were oddly pricy, so I wouldn't pick this place if that's what you're shooting for. But still a fun place to visit for knick knacks and cool finds, and the funds go towards a humanitarian project.

I would like to think of this place as my new favorite gem. The atmosphere and everything it had to offer was amazing. I found so many new cute things and a nifty tote bag. They had a bowl filled with pride stickers that you could take and it said something on the bowl along the lines of "Take one for yourself, and one for someone else". I thought it was very unique and it gave a wonderful first impression to the place. So happy to have found this place! Planning on visiting this place more often in the near future.

I have fallen IN love with Top Drawer! The staff is friendly, the place is clean, the stuff is rad, and the best part is that it's 100% non profit!! They have so much cool vintage (I'm looking at you 1960's turntable!) and newer products that are all clean and there's no old funky thrift store smell. The even have a fun art room! I saw staff cleaning and dusting the products. It's obvious that clean, and fun is their m.o. and it shows! I can't wait to go back again and again! They help support an important cause, project transition.

I bought two pairs of brand new sandals for 56.00. Each would have cost upwards of $75.00 if I had bought them new. Great bargain.

I had heard of this thrift store and how all proceeds go to help people living with HIV via Project Transition.

In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s. Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.

With a contrast of muted colors at the next-door boutique, Charm School Vintage is full of color, textures, and flavor chic. According the store manager, each piece in the shop is purchased directly and not on consignment. One rack is white to off-white bohemian chick pieces. While all clothing is vintage, there are a few modern items such as journals. The store manager was super friendly and made me feel I was the only one in the store. This was the perfect spot for anyone who loves fashion with a bit of spice. Prices are in a rather broad range - from inexpensive amount to a bit pricey.

If you have young kids, I wouldn't recommend bringing them here. As soon as we walked in, my two-year-old accidentally stepped in front of the employee, and her reaction was surprisingly rude. She immediately told me she was overstimulated and doesn't like kids in the store. She said he could sit on the couch but wasn't allowed to walk around. I understand setting boundaries if a child is being disruptive, but we had literally just walked in, and he wasn't misbehaving.... just being a toddler. I explained that he's only two and it's not realistic to expect him to sit still the entire time. After that, she gave me a dirty look and continued to stare at us while I tried to shop, even though I kept him right by my side the whole time. In the end, we decided not to spend our money somewhere that made us feel so unwelcome. It was disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to supporting local shops. Just a heads up for other parents this may not be the most kid-friendly place, and you might not feel comfortable shopping there with little ones.
