He gives you the hard truths and also gives you cheaper alternatives; but he's always honest about how long the cheaper alternatives will last and if they are even worth the hassle. I'm typically there without appointment and that's not a problem for them, I come around 6:30, they open at 7. He takes a look at the problem, tells you if he will need to order parts and how long the job could potentially take. I'm always out by around 1pm even when parts need to be ordered! The secretary woman who is always there is super sweet and usually has snacks, like homemade brownies, in the waiting area. She comes out with updates about your car occasionally if she feels you've been waiting too long. I started coming here because of my mother and she recommended myself and my Nana and we haven't gone anywhere else for years. They are great!

No problem, I dropped my car off, went to work and around 2/2:30 I had called to see if it had been done because I would be returning to my office and would be done with work. They told me they would check on it and call me back, I waited about a 30/40 minutes to not recieve a call back, so I followed up, only to be told it was just going in NOW. Now it's 3:15/20, my car was supposed to be seen in the morning? Anyways, the job took about 15/20minutes until I was told that it was done, now it's 4, I've waited all day + some for a 15minute job. Paid my dues went on with my day, no problem Flash forward needing a new oil change, I go to a different shop, closer to home and he pops up from under my car and tells me to not go back to where I went (which is Norwood Auto) because the filter (the dirty one) was not for my car, that it was the correct size but not for my car, meaning it fit, it just shouldn't have been in my car.) THE CLEAN ONE, is supposed to be in MY car. I'm confused and disheartened that a 15/20min job took all day to be seen, with an incorrect part used and overall was rushed with lack of communication? Sure money is money but make sure to LOVE your job before committing to it. I had just bought this car after years of not having one, this was my first oil change that I had to do on my own, and I just feel like not enough pride was taken into doing the job, maybe I wasn't seen as a serious person due to how young I am?
