They found several of the same things as the other shop but they were not charging their extreme prices. They created videos showing what work needed to be done and why, they had loaner cars available for me and even offered to drive me home while they worked on it. I noticed after I got the car the next day that there was a small vibration and they immediately came and got the car from my house, checked it out, and realigned the wheels at no additional cost. I will definitely be going back for all of my future car needs and highly recommend them.

When I went there, they took pictures and video of my control arms and brakes and rotors and used scare tactics to tell me that I cannot drive this car as it is a safety issue. I met the owner, i have no idea why I needed to meet him. I had spoken with one of the floor mechanics who showed me a leak from my thermostat. They told me $1300 for brakes, $1700 for control arms, and $1000 for the thermostat... $4000! I drove home (even though they warned me not to), ordered the control arms, rotors, brakes, and thermostat and replaced them all myself. Here are the results: The car has 60,000 miles. The control arms look used like a car with 60k miles should, but they were not anywhere near an imminent failure. Same for the brakes and rotors. The only issue that was important for me was to replace was the thermostat housing... yes, the one that I had taken the initiative to ask the floor mechanic, and the front desk didn't even tell me about! Now, I knew what they were talking about. But I can clearly see how someone who didn't know much about cars would be terrified into hiring them for repairs that really weren't needed. The videos, etc, are all part of the credibility and selling process. Speaking of which, I can tell you that these guys use what's called a "one-call close" sales tactic. Just like at a dealership, these guys know that if a customer walks out the door, 90% of the time, they are not coming back. And, the salespeople are paid on almost 100% commission. That means that if they don't close a sale, they don't eat. They are not interested in a relationship. My longtime mechanic had retired, and I wasn't sure where to go next until I discovered D&G Auto Repair on Yelp! In August 2025, I brought my car in for brake service (pads and rotors replacement). From the very beginning, I felt I was in good hands. Paulo, the manager, responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately. He was professional, kind, and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained everything in a clear, respectful way, something I truly appreciate. I felt a strong sense of trust that he genuinely cared about my car and my safety. When I arrived at the shop, Paulo was just as professional and kind in person. He made me feel confident in my choice to use to D&G Auto Repair. After I left my car, he followed up via text with an estimated bill before starting any work, which gave me peace of mind and control over the process. The shop itself is small but clearly run by expert technicians, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable, a nice bonus! I returned yesterday with a question about a noise I'd heard. No independent shop had the equipment or know-how to do the job, and the dealer wanted $5000 for the repair. Rayteam did it for $1800. They were friendly, accommodating, and VERY knowledgeable. When I told them what was going on, they knew exactly what was wrong and quickly came up with a plan to fix the car. It's been more than two years since this happened and their work has held up flawlessly. They're a bit far from me to do routine maintenance with, but if I need a larger, more complex job done they will be the first number I call.

My wife found Auto Precision based on the reviews, and I'm so glad she did. It was a totally different experience to any repair shop we've used over our many years of car ownership. Both Anatoly and Andrei talked us through things (Andrei the insurance side and Anatoly the car side). They worked directly with our insurance, kept us updated the whole time, kept meticulous computerized records and helped us make sense of what was what with our insurance (including that we had an outstanding check owed to us that we should get re-issued from the insurance company). They took what was a stressful and confusing situation and made it feel straightforward and logical. Most importantly, our Jeep looks beautiful. We had some old scratches from bushes and parking lots and sticky remainders of ill-advised packing tape, and they took care of those things as a little extra with no charge or even mention of them until I brought it up to thank them. NAC charged us around 4 hours of labor to reconnect a wire that goes to a temperature sensor, claiming the wire was chewed by an animal. Once we started driving upon picking up the car - which was supposed to be repaired, we noticed the Check Engine light was still on. We thought NAC must have forgotten to reset the car computer after fixing the broken wire. We weren't worried because NAC told us there is an one year warranty, and we didn't have a chance to go back there immediately due to the holiday season. We didn't plan to use the car much anyway. We brought the car back in January. NAC claimed that it was the same exact wire that was chewed again by an animal, and this time charged us near 2 hours of labor, and changed the wire connector. It is noticeable that they didn't change the wire connector the first time. Their claim about animal chewing the wire is extremely bizarre, because the car has been parked on the driveway of a house in an affluent Boston suburb neighborhood, in December-January where outdoor animal activities are limited due to the cold weather. When we complained about the charge for the second repair - which should be under warranty, they don't recognize that they didn't properly fix the wiring issue the first time. Instead, we were accused of lying about the Check Engine light never being turned off. We are concerned about Natick Auto Clinic's commitment to quality workmanship and honesty in business practice.
