Finally made it here, I've been meaning to check it out! Here are my big points... Would visit again! - Skip the appetizers (nothing special) - Delicious and large burgers! - GREAT homemade sauces (especially the ranch hmmmmm) - Make sure to check out the specials board for dinners and drinks! I had a yummy candy cane martini in December - Small mom and pop shop vibe; there aren't many great places like this in the metro area! - Very friendly staffv

When I'm craving bar food, this is it! Small parking lot, and street parking available. Seat yourself. They have a few happy hour specials in the bar area around 3-5pm. There's a dining section, and a pool table & dart board back by the bathrooms. The ambiance is a classic warm wood-paneled dive bar. Typically one rockstar server holding down the whole place, and what I assume is one cook in the back. I liked this place so much I went twice in one week! Once for some burgers, once for some wings, and both times for some beerz. They also have a few cocktail specials they make in batches like mules & margaritas. The burgers were perfect and what I crave when I go to a bar. The buns had a crispy side and a soft side. The meat was classic crumbly bar burger quality. Overall it melts in your mouth. The wings were solid. The meat quality was good, not that mushy fatty stuff you get at some chains.

I had been wanting to go here for quite a bit! I finally made it with a friend who lives in the area. She has said many good things about the wings & burgers. I decided I had to try the wings. I did 10 wings 1/2 Buffalo and 1/2 5-Spice. My sister was along also and grabbed the Chili Plum! I enjoyed all the flavors. The wings were good in size, juicy, and had a decent crispy. They were sauced nicely as you can see! YUM! I will definitely be returning and I think next time I'll try a buger!

I love this place! I grew up a few blocks from this place & would visit often. Moved away & now I'm back! In my opinion they have some of best chicken wings! I especially like their 5 spice dry seasoning wings, I actually highly recommend them! I will be honest and tell you the wings are pretty small. It's about a $1/wing I feel like is normal for dining at most places these days. They make their ranch & blue cheese in house so it's an extra charge. I normally call ahead and order my food to-go. It's a pretty standard neighborhood pub/restaurant setting. They have a small parking lot but there's street parking. Parking is never really an issue. I will definitely continue to support this local business!

This is my 2nd time visiting Tooties, initially because a co-worker and fellow Yelper suggested I try. (See, I'm a wing connoisseur) I was craving wings and was in the neighborhood and decided to order the 5 spice and the Thai peanut sauce. It was my first time with Thai wings and they DID NOT disappoint. I'm not a big peanut butter fan, but these were really really good. 5 spice were good too, but the the Thai Peanut Sauce wings are my new fav's. Service: Placed my order via phone for pick up. Same girl on the phone gave me my food and took my $$. She was pleasant and professional. I haven't had much here, but wings and fries, but what I have had has made me a fan. Thanks, Tooties.!

Got the wings! 5 spice and Thai peanut are legit.

Solid burgers, old school building. Decent pricing, wish they were open earlier in the day.

I love a place that actually adds enough sauce so you don't have to reach for ketchup. Fries were crispy, beer on tap was cold and fresh, and my partner's Breakfast Burger with a perfectly runny over-easy egg was spot on. The whole vibe is cozy, laid-back, and exactly what you want from a classic neighborhood dive. There's easy residential street parking nearby, which makes it even better. Definitely come during off-hours if you want to snag a seat, it's popular for a reason. Bonus: it was easily $20-$30 cheaper than any other sit-down meal we've had around here. Perfect dive bar, no notes. Seat yourself. Friendly service.

I looked up…read moreyour website and FB page, and discovered you offer an affordable fish and shrimp basket on Friday's. So sis and I took a drive to our hometown to give it a try. Found off-street parking in a neighborhood close by. We are early birds but we got the last available booth/ table at 5pm. It's a small place so it's maybe 4 booths, 5 tables, 1 hightop and the bar for seating. It is seat yourself. The "kitchen" is also to the side of the bar (like Matt's Bar in MPLS) so you can watch them cook if you had a good seat. There was a "band" (2 people) setting up for live music to begin at 6pm. We had left prior to them starting though. Even thought it was packed, we had plenty of attention from all the staff: waitress, bartender and COOK. Waittress to our order, bartender delivered our drinks, cook verified our order (small vs large onion rings). We splint an order of onion rings. They were battered, not breaded! We prefer battered. They were slightly sweet, crunchy and hot. No dipping sauce offered besides bottled ketchup. Sis got the $11 fish basket with $1.50 lemonade. A dollar fifty for lemonade!! I tried the tartar sauce and liked it. Had a hint of dill. I got the $11 shrimp basket. The shrimp were breaded. Hot and crunchy. No tartar sauce for dipping. They were good but didn't really taste the shrimp, just the breading. I'm not a coleslaw fan but sis said it was good/fine. She couldn't describe the flavor, just that it wasn't Marzetti's (less flavor, no zip). I also ordered a McKenzie's Black Cherry cider. That's hard to find in a bar. It was cold and tart and delicious. Mmm. And only $4.50. Overall, the place was clean, the service was great, the food was good, the prices were awesome. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu (aka Tony's Firecracker burger). Love supporting small businesses in our local neighborhoods.

They described it as an upscale dive bar which I laughed at for sure, but when I went I would say that exactly how I would describe it. It's dark and moody, but very funky and hip with the neon walls and lights. It's very small, behind the new Public Domain space. Seems like the hostesses direct people waiting on a spot there to Neon Tiger while they wait. We were able to snag one of the last tables after we ordered (there are about 5 tables for 2, and 3 standing bar tables from what I remember). The menu isn't large - it has a couple of beers, some basic cocktails and lists spirits and mixers. The only new and exciting thing on the menu is their slushy cocktails. Good news is that this place isn't very pricey, but the portions aren't huge. My small espresso martini was $12, my boyfriend's beer didn't quite look like a full pint but was only $4. We did laugh that it was called Tiger piss. The espresso martini is good, but beware there's no actual cream liquor in the drink - they seem to squirt some foamy concoction from an unmarked squeeze bottle in a fridge on top, which was interesting. Overall, would come back here if I was bar hopping for cocktails - but wouldn't go out of my way to try it again. Great idea to send people here while waiting for Public Domain!
