I had previously been going to a dentist for a majority of my life and only trusted them but since they have a change of ownership i was on the hunt for a new dentist. This dental office is AWESOME!! From the time you enter you are greeted by genuingly friendly staff. To help you relax they provide Netflix...yes you can watch a movie while getting work done. I first came to the office around this time last year and was informed that I required some serious work. I told Dr. Javid that I had a reunion to attend in London in July. I was worried that I would not look my best by July if I did the work. He told me not to worry, I would have a beautiful smile by then. Dr. Javid did not disappoint me. Let me just start by saying that I LOVED my experience at the Dr. Smile office. The staff is super friendly not only to their patients but also to each other which says a lot about the environment they work in. I was a bit traumatized by the photoshoot of my mouth (haha) but Dr. Deering put my nerves at ease and made sure he explained every detail of my follow up work. He was also very patient with answering all of my 20 questions (some were repeats) and was overall very knowledgeable and informative. I visited 2 full service Orthodontists in the area and both offered imaging as part of the free consultation. They said they do this because they wanted to provide a thorough examination for the most accurate analysis. Both doctors offered the imaging free of charge and never mentioned that I need to go find a "non-profit organization". Besides the 2 Orthodontists I visited who offered free imaging as part of a complete analysis, anyone can go online and find many more full service Orthodontists who do include imaging as part of a comprehensive consultation. I do not know why you responded that you do not offer "free orthodontic services". At what point did I request free orthodontic services? Dr. Feldman did eventually call and left a voice mail, this is after I called your office that she did not call back. By that time, there was no desire on my end to speak with her. Getting braces is a huge commitment. I wanted to let others know what you get from Dr. Smile vs a full service Orthodontic provider. Do your research and don't settle. --- Original post on 5/23/2017: The office claims that they offer Orthodontic service. Please aware that they have one Orthodontist and she is only there 2 times each month. I took my kid there for a consultation and she requires that you go to an imaging center next door to take and pay for your own x-ray, which costs $60. I was told that my kid needs an expander but it was not until I called today and asked more questions that I found out he actually might need braces too. The office manager Kelly said without the x-ray, they could not tell me what treatment he actually needs. If that is the case, why did they give me a Treatment Plan and a price? And why call it a free consultation? Why didn't the Orthodontist explain this and why didn't they clearly write that in the Treatment Plan? I did not speak to the Orthodontist herself today but to the office manager only since the Orthodontist is not there again until next Monday and she did not return my call from yesterday. read more

If you have kids this is the best place to begin your ongoing relationship with your child and his or her dentist. Unfortunately my new insurance forced me to send my son to another dentist. We had to come back to Dr smile to fix the pain he was experiencing after getting a root canal. I'm now in the process of changing my insurance because my son is comfortable here and they do a great job. It's clean and the staff is beyond friendly.
