My experience with my cleaning was great however, I was misinformed about my insurance and ended up paying about 80% of the total cost. This is because they are not a contracted provider like they told me they were on the phone and in person. The work I got down would had cost me about $50 but instead paid $700. Despite me calling and letting them know that this happened and to stop saying they take my type of insurance, they are still calling me to come back for the rest of the work. DECEPTIVE PRACTICE. BEWARE!! As another user as mentioned (Claudia C.), when you call the office to confirm your insurance, they told me they are covered through Delta Dental. Turns out, they are NOT IN NETWORK with Delta. This misinformation lead me to get work done that cost around $600 something that would have been $100. I did call around to other offices and most were very upfront about not being in-network with Delta Dental. This office is misleading with insurance, so unless you are willing to pay out of pocket or be surprised when your bill comes in, find a dentist who will be transparent about costs. I called first and got their receptionist Nancy who was originally the person who mislead me about taking Delta Dental insurance. She complained that they were short-staffed which is why my calls weren't returned. When I called back to work things out with Dr Hoang, he was dismissive and even gaslighted me saying that I didn't ask the right questions about insurance and that I misunderstood. He said I was lucky insurance covered the amount they did, because some others are not so lucky. What a joke. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY and nothing done to ensure others don't make this error. It's unfortunate that a small business caring for it's local community is really just trying to scam people and shake people for their money. Delta Dental has filed a grievance on my behalf and I will definitely warn others about steering clear. read more
