Dr. Ho did a fantastic job of fixing my wife's chipped tooth and placing a veneer. No one in the office pushed us to do more work than what was needed. I haven't had a filling done in years so I was nervous about the site and sound of drilling, but she numbed me up well and I barely felt the needle! I was concerned about mercury in my filling and she said she uses a composite resin. Awesome! Patched me up in an hour and even polished my teeth. It feels like new! I just wanted to acknowledge my gratitude for the great care, friendly receptionist (Katy) to get me in and solve this problem quickly. Dr. Ho is very gentle, attentive, and detailed. Thankful for her!

I have been shopping for a new dental office and I'm happy to report I've found the fit. A friend…read more strongly recommended this practice and I didn't see Kerkorian, but rather a lovely female dentist (I was hoping I could find her name on the website but she's not there so forgive me for forgetting this excellent practitioner's name). Ani is an amazing hygienist and I was in and out as a new patient with full x-rays in only 45 minutes. Amazing. The ONLY thing I can suggest to improve the experience is to re-think the office sanitation procedure. Instead of cleaning a chair between visitors or using a paper liner for the chairs, there is thin plastic tarping covering the chair - that sticks right to hot legs on a hot day and makes things rather uncomfortable. It's not "green" at all to use disposable plastic (no plastic bags can go into recycling) instead of simply giving a chair a disinfecting wipe between patients. I don't know if that is what the "Green" stands for in the firm's name, but the leaf logo makes me think there should be more eco-forward practices here. I would knock off half a star, but since I can't, I'm rounding up for the excellent service, friendly staff, and ease of street parking. Thank you, Green California!

I hope in the future that other patients of this office do not experience this same issue. A negative review should not be what causes this problem to be resolved after the patient has had to come into the office multiple times seeking resolution. As a reminder, please check your EOB and then verify with your insurance on what the office is contractually allowed to charge for services in network. Our insurance provider was very helpful in this situation. This office lost 2 patients due to this experience.

Despite the fact that I came in bleeding and in lots of pain the whole staff worked together to see to it that I got amazing care! I can't recommend them highly enough!

I called in a heightened emotional state with a dental emergency and was…read moreasked to pay 150 dollar down payment on my appointment, apparently they require all new patients to pay a deposit (first I ever heard about this but seeing their lackluster reviews I can see why, probably the only thing keeping them in business). Anyway, I was able to get another dentist to see me sooner and when I cancelled my appointment they informed me that they would not be refunding the deposit and they told me I was informed it was non refundable when I called (which is a lie). I guess I dodged a bullet and glad I didn't give them any more money but be careful with these people, reputable dentists do not prey on their patients.

It's going on 12 years since I posted a review here, but after visiting Smiles On Olive again…read moreyesterday, it occurred to me as I was driving home how lucky I was to find them all those years ago. I mean, honestly, I'm an incredible man-baby. I used to be nervous just driving past a dentist office. But now, well, the fact that I'm still going there is HUGE testament to their practice. It's crazy to say, but now when I go there I feel like I'm walking into a friend's house. I know that may sound cheesy, but it's true. I keep waiting for someone to break out a six-pack and put the game on. Consider their starting lineup: Dr. Eliza, Jescik, Jarmen, Javier and Martha. They're all so warm and kind, of course. But what's really important it that they all know their roles and work so well together. Maybe Dr. Eliza should do a Ted Talk to teach other business leaders how to properly put together a team, because I'd take her starting five any day over, say, the 2000 Lakers even. (Okay, maybe none of the Smiles team can dunk, but that's here nor there.) Anyway, as I probably did back in 2013, maybe I'm laying it on a little thick, but whatever. This is not a paid endorsement. They don't know I'm writing it. I was just feeling grateful and wanted to share.
