My husband and I have been in search of a dentist that is not only talented and knowledgeable but also gentle, kind, compassionate and has a clean and modern practice - not too much to ask, right?! Well we found all of that and more with Dr. Luiza at Magnolia Dental Studio! Not only is Dr. Luiza amazing at her craft, she has an absolutely beautiful office and her team is just as wonderful. I am new to Magnolia Dental Studio. I had not seen a dentist since 2019 before pandemic. It just fell out of priority as well since moving from Honolulu 2 years ago. The trouble of finding a dentist and establishing care elsewhere was something I kept putting off. Not just me, my wife as well, who is normally really on top of it. She actually found and made the appointments. First visit is a little longer, all the X-rays and imaging need to get done. They have all the new tech to make the process faster. Went on with my cleaning and was out within 2 hours. Dental staff were all very pleasant. All future appointments already scheduled. Back on track with dental care :) NOTE: If you park in the neighborhood off Magnolia, be sure to check the posted signs. Good thing I checked because it's not just the normal one day a week for street cleaning. By the Optum building where they are located, from 8am-5pm Mon-Fri parking is by permit. Be on the lookout for those signs and avoid parking there. read more

BEWARE.. Going to the Magnolia Dental studio in Burbank turned out to be a big mistake. I'm 80 years old who is lucky enough to have a son to take me to the dentist. He scheduled my appointment and discussed my insurances with the office manager Ruzanna. But when we arrived, the welcome my son and I received was very cold. When my son simply followed up with a question regarding my insurance, Ruzanna became flustered and admittedly had trouble with remembering due to her multitasking. So instead of being apologetic, the manager talked to us like we were lucky to be seen. In addition, Ruzanna wanted to discuss my personal information at the front desk, opposed to a more private area. Dr. Luiza Nersisyan then came out and didn't even greet me or my son. Instead, she acted as if getting clarification of our insurance and billing was a burden for the office. My son asked to speak to the Dr. Nersisyan in private and the she just blew my son off and told him to wait. Then after the dentist spoke to her manager, my son asked to speak in private and the doctor agreed. When my son sat down with Dr. Nersisyan, he politely explained that her office made a very bad first impression. He referenced the high racial tensions in our communities and how it can be intimidating coming to a new business for dental care that is intimate and involves trust. I could hear Dr. Nersisyan lose her temper and yell at my son from all the way down the hallway. Then she kicked us both out and refused to service me with no consideration that my son took time off to take me to our scheduled appointment. My son is successful, well spoken and polite, and has spent nearly $50,000 dollars of his own money for my past dental work. But on his days off, he walks around in a large T-shirt and comfortable shorts - and yes, he is African American. I just wanted to share my experience. Good luck. read more

When I say I would follow this woman anywhere I literally mean it. I have been working with her for over 13 years. Yes 13 years and I don't know what I would do if she wasn't my dentist. What an absolutely incredible place, I have finally found a dentist that makes me feel safe and happy when I go in and I have been terrified of dentists my whole life. This review is long over due. First of all, i enter the staff doesn't acknowledge me especially the black haired lady she thinks she owned the place. Second of all, when the dentist came to see me I asked her about composite bonding, looked at my teeth and said I'm not the perfect candidate because APPARENTLY my teeth are "thin" which doesn't make any sense and she recommended veneers which are 19,500 off the bat. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends and colleagues. This dental place is good at ripping people off. read more

Our previous dentist that we'd been with for 10+ years recently semi retired. Unfortunately, things with their service and office management have gone a bit downhill since. After having a filling done and a crown replacement on the same day with quite a bit of pain and seemingly very rushed, I was starting to become wary. Finally, a couple weeks after having the work done, I had a night of excruciating pain. The next morning, I was scrambling trying to find a new dental office and happened upon Luiza's on Yelp. Fortunately, they were able to fit me in for a same-day appointment. I came to find out the previous dentist had filled the tooth essentially right up to the nerve. Although root canal is the last thing anyone would want to hear in the patient's seat, it's now months later and everything went smoothly. Everyone who works at Magnolia Dental Studio is kind and friendly, and I really feel like I stumbled on a diamond in the rough. I saw Dr. Nersisyan for cleaning and check up. I have had serious dental issues over the years and have continued with my dentists . Due to the change my insurance i discovered Dr. Nersisyan. I appreciated the care, explanation of what's next, procedures in my appointment not only by her and her staff. Also follow up appointments and referrals were made right away. I loved the state of the art technology which actually put me at ease. As my X Rays were taken i was able to see it on the screen right away. It made a difference for me !! Let me start off my saying that I LOVE the dentist.. so I have been on the hunt to finding an amazing dentist. It's hard. There's a dentist at every corner, but I'm convinced I've found "the one." What a gem of a business! The dentist , Dr luiza, is a perfectionist.. she told me at my recent appt "if it's not perfect I won't sleep at night." That made my heart happy. My teeth are now clean and perfect! Ruzanna (usually at the front desk) is the friendliest ever, she will make you feel like you are guest in her home. The appointment process was seamless and the new place is very clean and has all the amenities, including TV with Netflix to watch while getting work done. I am soooo excited for this place to come to my neighborhood. I have been looking for a new dentist for years. I went in for a checkup and cleaning today. The entire place was brand spanking new. The floors, the walls, the furniture, the equipment and tools they were using! The office was super clean, smelled amazing, and everything looked top notch. To be honest, I'm usually a nervous wreck when I visit the dentist... but today was a different story finally for the first time in my life. The front desk manager Erica was a sweetheart: super nice, super polite, and all smiles! The dental assistant was very professional and fast in the X-Rays and prepping me for the dentist.
