When your family dentist retires at the age of 80 it's a blessing & a curse...Why, because he should have retired sooner...but now you have to put your trust and your entire mouth into someone new. So, you put on your big girl panties, "SIGH," then ask all of your friends for referrals...I considered a few dentists but none of them made me want to call them. Let's start with the fact that this is the most aesthetic dentist office I've ever been to! This is a female run office and it shows! Doctor is beyond incredible, she is so patient and literally explains the whole process as she works on your teeth so I've never felt more comfortable and safe. I started visiting Dr Ariga a few years ago when she first opened her practice and I've been satisfied with my visits ever since the beginning. I've undergone Invisalign treatments with her, fillings, checkups, and they have all gone smoothly because she is so good at what she does. She's very articulate and warm so i always feel as though i know exactly what's going on with my oral heath at each visit.. I never feel anxious or nervous coming here. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. She often plays meditation music with peaceful visual images on the television to put you in the right head space. Her office is clean and well maintained, nicely decorated during all seasons. Her staff is friendly and approachable, and her equipment including her chairs are very comfortable and hygienic. I did "Invest in the Only Smile I have" here at Palm Dental in Burbank - see the pictures attached below! Just about 1 year, give or take... look at my investment, as Palm Dental says, into the "Only Smile You Have". THIS is their quality of their work! IN ADDTION, I went to Palm Dental and I could NOT get the Deep Cleaning they requested from the insurance company for 6 WHOLE MONTHS - 6! THEY said the insurance company was hacked but hack was resolved less than a month later - not 6. THEY SAID that your office called and called, but they never requested a Supervisor to further investigate. THEY NEVER ELEVATED the situation with the Dental Board nor State Department. THEY never, as I advised you do on your client's behalf, contacted your civil servant, i.e., your City Council Representative, or an Ombudsman, etc... as I advised you do on OUR, all of your clients' behalf. THEY NEVER DID ANY of these simple, very simple things - which before you graduate any viable school teaches before one can obtain a degree. So why weren't these simple things done!? I was told that YOU WERE ON VACATION at one point. Shows LITTLE EFFORT OR CARE toward your client who pays to rely upon you to resolve. I am the one who then had to inquire. I called my Civil Servant/Ombudsman's office explained the whole affair to one of their assistant and within the hour I received a call from a supervisor at the Insurance office who told me that she was working on my problem and would give me a call by the end of that day, or by tomorrow before noon. I received that call as promised and was given a code that showed that all was received and approved. Therefore, I would like to know why it took your office, Dr. Nareh Abrahamian, 7 WHOLE MONTHS to get an approval when it took me only 1 day? IN ADDITION to simple things.... YOU DIDN'T use any numbing cream for my gums before jamming that needle in several places in my mouth. YOU NEVER did any pocket count for my gum to tooth ratio. On a scale of 1-6, with 6 being the worst, you never in the few year's I've been seeing you, you never mentioned the two tooths that I have a pocket count of 6. You Didn't mention when they were at a 4 count, nor a 5 count, nor a 6 count. And after that, you usually need surgery. And you NEVER knew and/or shared this with me because you NEVER did any pocket counts. Never. YOU DIDN'T use any implements to scrap the plaque from my teeth, just that air brush thing that by itself does Not entirely remove plaque on its own. AND the cap you school glued to my front tooth is now showing notable white streaks, and is CRUMBLING thus slowly falling off. What you did was Cheap, Unprofessional and with no effort whatsoever. There was no consideration, only accusations. Nothing done for your client, nor compassion, and that's what's so Deplorable about you - smiles and all! read more
