Once we got into the office for the first time the mood was welcoming and perfect.( the daughter is speaking now) Once I got into the office it was perfect Doctor Silva was not only nice but truthful for my treatment the process was great and gentle honestly she did better than the other orthodontists we saw. I went to Dr. Silva to see if we could get a little improvement in my open bite. She said that we could get a nice improvement that would help me achieve my goals of better chewing and speaking. Today my Invisalign came off and I can't believe the transformation! I had a VERY severe open bite. I was told for 20 years that I would need to have very painful invasive surgery to fix this and in 50 weeks with just Invisalign and nightly elastics I have perfect teeth. Dr. Silva is the best orthodontist! After going to 3 other orthodontist's, including one I went to as a teenager for braces, I chose to go through Invisalign treatment with Dr. Silva. During my consultation (no fee required), Dr. Silva was very thorough in explaining what I should expect from my treatment. At that time, her team took a full scan of my teeth, and she dedicated enough time for me to ask questions and to address any concerns I had. I had a slight underbite with a couple of gaps between my bottom teeth. Also, I have an implant with a crown in place of one of my upper, middle two teeth. This concerned me because the implant cannot move. However, Dr. Silva did a great job explaining the treatment process and the expected outcome in an effective and reliable way. I also really appreciated that she didn't rush or see me as a dollar sign. Speaking of which, the total treatment cost was very reasonable in comparison with the three other orthodontists I had consulted with. The total treatment duration was reasonable and varies per patient, but for me it took a little over a year and a half. As far as her bedside manner/customer service skills go, she is incredible! She is kind, caring, gentle, takes a personal interest in you and remembers details of past conversations. After finishing my Invisalign treatment, getting my set of retainers, and finally going in for my two-month-retainer-checkup just a few days ago, I can proudly say with confidence, that I highly recommend Dr. Silva for anyone, in any age group. The main experience of doing the braces and talking options was the best I could have asked for. The staff is wonderful and genuinely care about you as a person. My only note is when there's a scheduling issue on their side or when there's an emergency on your end, you can sometimes get stuck with only Tuesday or Thursday as an option. Sometimes, it may only be a Tuesday due to doctor schedules. And then, it is dependent on their current availability. I had a situation where a doctor got sick (life), and they had to reschedule (sucks cuz I work and I'm the only one in my department so I can't just leave, but life, right?) however, they were already booked with other clients for an extended time on the particular day of the week they needed me to do. So they basically asked, "what's your Tuesday in a few weeks look like?" And like, IDK. I do gig work. So I just played it by ear. If I had random time on a Tuesday, I called and asked if they had random availability. This stunk since I actually did need some attention. However, it's convenient that I can call day of and check if there's any availability due to cancellations. So, there's pros and cons. read more

Is it weird that going to the orthodontist has been one of the most consistently enjoyable things I've done this past year? This office is hands down one the best run operations I've ever seen. Incredibly efficient, warm, and has some of the best and most skilled individuals out there. Thank you to the entire team at Silva orthodontics- especially Dr. Silva. As a 40 year old with a permanent retainer for over half my life, I suddenly found myself with a broken wire. I called around and no office seemed willing to help me, since they had not done the original work. I finally called my dentist and they referred me to Dr. Silva, who graciously helped me out. The staff was so lovely, welcoming and helpful, and Dr. Silva gave me some of the best care I have received. She was so lovely and fun, and even fixed a chip in my front tooth which had been bothering me.
