Love Dr. Sam and his entire staff. I have been a patient for nearly 25 yrs and every visit has consistently been wonderful experience.

This office is all heart and full of deep patient care. I have never had any problem getting a last minute appointment when my crowns need urgent repair. They always find time to fit me in and their teeth cleanings are quick and painless. The dentists are all super nice and the office staff is actually way nicer if that's even possible. I think they may have hired kindergarten teachers to be their front desk because they are so sweet and kind. I love this place and I really don't like the dentist at all but this place makes me reconsider my opinion that maybe all dentists aren't sadists! read more

Well, I explained on the phone with the lady that picked up the phone. She put me on hold and came and asked you in the back. You said yes bring it in now. I understand if it was too hard for you to fix it and you were going to send it to the lab, but there is no need to laugh at my mom and say you can super glue it. Dr Sam is like family as are his staff even so much so that when I moved to New York City, I came back to only have my work done by him. He is meticulous and he's exact and his work is stellar, and the staff are so friendly. They are all like family in fact I consider Dr Sam family. He truly cares about each and every one of his patients and he gives his time and attention to detail and does such beautiful work and the prices are unbelievably low. Run don't walk to ABC dental. Dr. Sam is a liar, a fraud, a total scam!! He will cut any corner to save himself an extra buck, including putting his patients in a difficult and traumatizing position. I now have to go under the knife for the third time and spend $10,000 out of my own pocket to fix an issue that he caused. On top of that they refused to send me my dental records, claiming that they've destroyed them. If I could give you a piece of advice, it would be do not come here. Dr. Sam is probably the worst dentist I've ever seen in my 53 years. My daughter was under his care for a year and a half. She ended up with seven cavities when she finally went to another dentist. I had a huge filling fall out of one of my molars, he examined me and didn't even say a word about it. Even the technician standing next to me said "I wonder why he didn't say anything about that". This was just after he called me into his office to scold me like I was in high school all over again, because he had bought a tool to put a needed implant in. The tool was necessary because the process had been started by another doctor. I think he said he paid $400 for this tool. I had to cancel my initial appointment for that procedure because my father died. So upon my return and examination, he decided to speak to me as if I was subservient, and a child. Even after I explained the reason why I did not make the appointment. Meanwhile, my best friend walks in the door who's been trying to reach him for weeks at a time. She had a procedure done that he completely botched, he never gave her antibiotics, he never gave her any pain medication. In fact, he pulled something out in a plastic baggie that looked to be samples and gave it to her. It wasn't even marked. Every time she would call and say she was in pain he told her she was crazy. I witnessed this firsthand myself that same day. This guy is a shyster, he doesn't care about you, And he has some serious emotional health issues. read more

Only leaving one star for them taking me in as a walk -in emergency first time patient. But I will never go back to this place. First of all the place is way too small for the amount of people they allow to sit inside and absolutely no one can be six feet apart. The receptionist don't scan anyone's temperature. And don't provide clean pens for patients to use, instead let everyone use the same pen to sign in withy. Luckily I brought my own pen. And a big second reason why I'll never come back to this place is seeing one of the dentist walk around with his mask off under his chin, touching his face without washing his hands. Shaking hands with people and still not washing his hands before putting gloves on. I was hoping he wouldn't be the one to see me when my name was called but lucky me, he ended up calling my name. As I walked through the door to be seen and stepped closer to him, I asked if he was going to put his mask on and his response was "I'll put my mask on when you take yours off". I stood there speechless with his response and waited for him to put his mask on before I got any closer to him. They took an X-ray of my mouth. Didn't put any X-ray vest over my body like other places provide and the X-ray machine is just out in the open tucked in the back corner of the building where employees can walk behind you to get through a door . Same dentist guy checked out my X-ray, didn't find anything wrong. But feed me some BS how beautiful my teeth are. Took me into a room, somehow all of a sudden had gloves on without washing his hands again ‍. And poked my tooth. At this point I wanted to leave right away with my mouth exposed. They don't close to the doors to each examining room. The dentist proceeded to tell me again how beautiful my teeth are and what the plan would be to get on track with cleaning and get me braces and blah blah blah. I told him I just came in to see why my guy was inflamed and that's all I needed since I go to another dentist that wasn't open that day. Before I finally left, he game me a bottle of mouth wash and a proscription. Paid $80 dollars for that horrible first time experience and left with anxiety. This place definitely isn't following CDC rules. Luckily most of the patients had their mask on but still not being able to keep six feet apart is a major problem in this facility. read more

No matter what findings the result are they are always professional and caring of the matter and gentle when working on your teeth. I had been going to ABC Dental for years. They were always professional and courteous and I had a good experience. Then after the pandemic I was told I needed a crown put in. I question whether that was even necessary because as I was told getting a crown put in was a "money maker" for them. When I came in to get my temporary crown put in the aid was very tired. As I got numbed he was falling asleep and explained how he worked/studied/exercised so much that he was always tired. Not a great start. The guy who performed the procedure (not Dr Sam) said he does these all the time and that it's a "money maker", which felt weird to me. Over the coming days the pain seemed unusual. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't chew on the side of that mouth the entire time. It was very painful and uncomfortable. When I came back to get the temporary crown removed and the new one put in Dr Sam tried ripping it out without Novocaine. I told them it hurt a lot and he offered the Novocaine. He had a very hard time getting the temporary out. Eventually he had to saw the tooth in half to get it out. When I told him it was very painful he told me to "stop being a baby". I am not one to complain about procedures or pain but this was unbearable. Something wasn't right. I am no longer going there. I found a new dentist and won't ever go back. If you are going for cleanings and maybe cavity work they are fine but my experience was pretty horrible, painful and demeaning. read more

Dr. Sam and his staff are very nice, but unfortunately everytime I had a cavity filed, I had to come back and have them fix something with the same work they did with this tooth. The worst and still have the pain, Dr. Sam replaced a silver tooth with porcelain and it created a root canal that still hurts to this day from work done on it years ago. My husband broke his 2 front implants that he had from a previous dentist a couple of months ago and he had problems with his gums. We were recommend here by his boss and we absolutely love them. The staff is very friendly and nice and they do wonderful work. I also have had some work done. Yelp delivers again! I found Dr. Sam due to the positive reviews here. I had a terrible experience with a previous dental office, they were only interested in selling me things and not about what I actually needed. I entered the office and was greeted by a lovely receptionist. I didn't realize how far they were from my home and mis-calculated the navigation timing on a Friday morning, arriving 15 minutes late. They understood and were all very gracious. They also have a very high tech machine that takes x-rays. Dr. Sam was very kind, honest, professional and you felt that he truly cared for you as a person and only recommended what was actually necessary. There was a patient next to me while I was getting a cleaning and I could over hear them being so GENTLE with him/her and it made me feel so much better...who doesn't get stressed when you go to a dentist office?? I highly recommend ABC Dental Group. They offer Saturday appointments, which would be better for me as the weekday traffic is too unpredictable. I meant to write this review hours ago, but got distracted (with kids). I felt very confident coming to my first ever appointment because I felt very welcomed by Nikki over the phone. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the front office staff. The front office ladies were extremely friendly. I arrived at their office a bit early but they checked me in, I filled out one paper, and was immediately brought back. The dental assistant, Casey, was extremely friendly as well. He helped me to feel comfortable and at ease during my appointment. He gave me clear instructions when it came time to do X-rays and even after my appointment. Dr. Sam is one of the most patient dentists I have ever been to. I came in today to get my bottom right wisdom tooth checked out. Turns out the top right one needed more attention. I was told how the session would go before we even began and was even given the time to make my decision whether I wanted to take it out today or not. After the local anesthesia was administered my anxiety shot through the roof as did my heart rate. Once this happened, Dr. Sam and his assistant allowed me time to calm my nerves and even tried distracting me with conversation about other things. Both of which, I think, helped a lot. Once I was ready, Dr. Sam and Casey were there talking me through it and making sure I was okay every step of the way. Before I knew it, my tooth was out. No pain whatsoever. Dr. Sam even took time to call me tonight to check up on me as well. I was in no way expecting him to do this, but it really helps when your doctor is willing to take that extra step. I think my procedure went very well overall. So far I have yet to experience any severe aching or pain. I only have a mild discomfort which is to be expected. I am hoping for a speedy recovery and looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you! read more
