The time finally arrived to take out all my wisdom teeth. Knowing I couldn't afford and wasn't comfortable being put to sleep, I needed to absolutely trust my dentist, as it would definitely be tortuous and would also have to make 2 trips, one for each side of my mouth. Dr. Lee was my 2nd consult, and I'm so glad I waited to be confident with my choice because he was a PRO!! First off, before my first real appointment, I have to mention that I was so pleased at how advanced their equipment is. Every other dentist office I've been to, I've still had to sit gagging for minutes at a time with xrays. Here, no gags. You stick your head in a machine and it scans your mouth all at once in like under 2 minutes. The consult itself was so quick. He was very direct and no pressure, which I greatly appreciated. Also, they're open on Saturdays! I am so happy with my experience. I was SO nervous and had so much anxiety that my prescribed valium didn't even work, haha. For both extractions, he made sure to stop and re-numb me if I felt anything. I had little to no swelling both times and with minimal pain. I was extremely terrified of my wisdom tooth extraction. I was referred to an oral surgeon that told me that my wisdom tooth was super close to the nerve and nerve damage was highly likely. I was so sad about it because the wisdom tooth was giving me a lot pain, and I felt like I had to choose between having pain forever or permanent nerve damage. I found this place because it looked like one of the best rated clinics in Burbank that took Medi-Cal insurance. It's in a small strip mall near downtown Burbank so it has parking, which is nice. You enter in a small basic waiting room. There wasn't anyone else when I went (weekday afternoon) and my appointment went very quickly. They took an X-ray of my teeth and then the dentist came in and gave me a standard cleaning. I was in and out of there in probably less than 20 minutes. There's not really any bells and whistles about this place, but I really liked how quickly and efficiently my appointment went. They also give you a small goodie bag of a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, etc at the end! read more

I have been going to this place since 2016 for dentistry. At that time, there was another doctor and he was not Dr. Lee, and after he left, Dr. Lee came and I was always satisfied with him, but unfortunately, today I was disappointed with him, and it must be my doctor. I will change it... Today was the fourth tooth that I had veneered with him, and I always told him that the color and condition of the veneer is not good and beautiful at all, and he said that the model is like this and that it is a computer design. Dr. Lee is very friendly, but he is always in a hurry, and this Rushing at work caused my tooth to bleed after 4 hours, and the crown was removed for no reason. Unfortunately, I told him many times to do the dental work and clean my teeth yourself because you are my doctor, but the last one. My teeth were cleaned by someone else who was not professional at all. My close friend in Iran is a dentist and I know well what dentistry is like. Anyway, I don't go to this doctor anymore because unfortunately he is not professional at all in veneers and always He is in a hurry, he wants to take care of 3 patients in 1 hour, and this is not true. Besides, his secretaries are all teenage girls who do not have enough experience at all, and when you talk to them, they just laugh as if they are making fun of you. I was unhappy, but I gave him a chance, but today, as I write this, I am really disappointed with him, because they don't even answer the phone, and I have to stay without teeth until Monday, and I'm only at work on Monday, and I don't have free time until Saturday, Dr. Lee. I hope so. Hire a professional staff as soon as possible and give the dental crown to a place where they will do the right job and of course be careful in attaching the crown because this is really not good for your work history. You always said that I can eat 10 minutes after the crown is attached and I should use a toothbrush and floss, but I waited for 4 hours and didn't eat anything, but my tooth fell out after 4 hours, so this shows that you are not a professional at all when it comes to dental veneers. no read more

Honestly hands down one of the best dental offices I've ever been to. The clinic is very clean and aesthetic, and has an abundant amount of seating. It is located in a very convenient plaza that has a subway next to it just Incase you'd like to have a bite to eat before getting some dental work done. The doctor himself is very careful and gentle, but works very efficiently. The dental hygients are all very kind aswell and they use a new try or of X-ray machine that limits radiation exposure to just the area being screened. The dental assistants at the front are very prompt and call to remind you of appointments. I would suggest to arrive early to find parking as it is a small little plaza however there is parking underneath the structure on the Verdugo blvd side. read more

Due to my freelancer career status, I have Medi-Cal insurance to cover all of my potential health needs. This practice had great reviews and took my insurance, so it was a no-brainer to schedule an appointment. It took two visits to get me a cleaning (which was 2 years overdue): one visit for x-rays, but then they had to check and see if my insurance even covered cleaning (the most basic form of dental health), and then a second visit for the cleaning itself. I'm not sure if they assumed I'd never had a cleaning or what, but I'm used to teeth cleanings taking around an hour. There's some wait time, the doc goes through and yells out numbers to the hygienist (how bad the gum area is, I think?), and then the hygienist gets to work and you leave feeling like you got some stuff DONE. This place? Doc came in, scraped here and there, and sent me on my way. 15 minutes tops. I guarantee you my teeth are no cleaner than when I walked in. I flossed when I got home, and sure enough, it snagged in a ton of places where plaque buildup was still hanging out. I still have tooth sensitivity from where I can visually see a potential cavity. There are teeth with plaque stain/buildup that have previously come off when I've had cleanings but this guy didn't do anything. I would give a second star for friendly staff, but that's literally just doing your job. Now I have to call my insurance and see if they'll cover for someone else to ACTUALLY clean my teeth and not wait six months. read more

I've always had terrible teeth (like a cavity a year, despite not drinking soda or eating sugar, but go figure lol), so I'm always a little nervous when coming to the dentist. Dr. Lee and his team really are the best. I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist and they always reassure me that everything is okay. They are always quick to take me in to see the dentist, the facility is nice and clean, and they are honest about the work you need to have done. This review is based on the front desk ladies. They are not honest. This was our first visit to this office. Based on the interaction with these ladies I'll be looking for a different dental office. We had appointments scheduled for 9:30 am on 9/8/20. It was for myself, my husband, daughter and son. When we walked in to check in, after giving my name the younger receptionist started whispering to the older lady and then tells me "oh didn't you get our message?" I had no message or missed call from them. I told them that, she says "oh we left you a message because our hygienist had an emergency " I again told her I had no message or missed call from them. She then tells me "oh, it's because you're voicemail was full" (I'm not sure how she was able to leave a message if my box was full??? So which is it?) I asked her to verify the number, it was correct. I look again at my phone which has only two voicemails- neither from them. I understand emergencies come up, but not communicating properly is not ok. I had my kids miss their classes for this appointment. I am disappointed in their poor customer service and the fact they obviously forgot to call us and instead of just saying that lying to me and trying to make it look like the fault was mine. read more

I came in a year ago in November 2019 and I believe the Doctor did the cleaning for my then 8 year old boy and he did a fantastic job and let me mention the front lady Ana, she was one of the reasons besides the doctor that we came back to this office! Ana was so comforting and understanding and she honestly stepped in to take x-rays of my child because the hygienist had a bit of a hard time doing so because of my child's tiny mouth but over all I have to give this dentist office a %100 positive review. Let me also mention that my child and I come from a private insurance and dental offices but unfortunately I am unemployed and had to get on state medical insurance but we will return to this office even when we get back on our private insurance. I have scheduled my my first appointment for January and I am looking forward to it. Thank you to the Doctor, Ana and his staff for treating everyone with the same integrity and compassion. First off, I based visiting Air Dental on the existing reviews that were here, so thanks Yelpers for helping me make this decision. I had an old crown that was falling out, and I could barely eat. They do panoramic x-rays, which was impressive, and less cumbersome than traditional x-rays. It turns out that I needed a bridge to replace that crown. I was quoted $2500. I asked if I could have a cash discount as I have no insurance, and they gladly obliged. It took three visits to get my new bridge, two visits were to grind down the old teeth, the third was a teeth cleaning and my bridge fitting. My new teeth are absolutely gorgeous! I still need more work done on the rest of my mouth, and I will be returning in the next few months to finish the necessary dental work. The office staff is very friendly and professional. All of them! The hygienist was great, and Dr. Jae Lee is kind and gentle; a consummate professional. I really felt taken care of at this dental office. It's the only one I've ever felt enthusiastic about going to visit. read more
