    Turkey Cranberry Griller
    Lorrisa L.

It's been a while since I've been here but they have the turkey cranberry griller for fall so it was a no brainer. My friend and I were seated right away and Julie came over to take our drink orders. She was so sweet and funny. She offered ideas on entrees and was such a joy. There was however an awful smell in the restaurant like dirty mop water. Not sure what that was all about but Julie made our lunch enjoyable.

I paid over $7 for chicken noodle soup to go. I am sick and was so looking forward to eating this hearty soup. I get home and unpack it and there's literally no chicken in it. I'm eating a bunch of noodles and carrots in chicken broth. I could've gone to Publix and ordered broth for half the price.

I had high hopes for TooJay's given its reputation, but my recent visit fell a bit flat. The ambiance was fine--nothing special, but nothing off-putting either. Felt just to hair above a fast food restaurant. However, the food was really just about average. Before I get into the food, the lighting was really great and it was able to see quite easily. The acoustics were quite good and it was very easy for me to hear and be heard. I ordered a salad with chicken, expecting something fresh and flavorful. What I got instead was mediocre at best. The lettuce was a bit limp, and really didn't have much flavor. The chicken, while cooked adequately, was bland and lacked any seasoning or character. The whole dish felt uninspired. If you ever order a salad from McDonald's or Burger King, this was maybe one or two clicks better... maybe. The service was polite, but that wasn't enough to elevate the overall experience. For the price and the hype, I expected far better. There are plenty of other options in the area, and unfortunately, this is not a place I'd be over eager to return to.

The Too-Jay's of today is nowhere close to the awesome Too-Jay's of years past! The sandwiches are not anything at all like they used to be both in size and quality. The only good thing about the visit was the excellent service from the Server!

I specifically ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and carefully selected "no lettuce, tomatoes, or onion" on the app. They still added all the unwanted toppings. When I called to speak with a manager about the mistake, the woman who answered was extremely rude. She constantly interrupted me, refused to let me finish a sentence, and then hung up on me. I called back immediately, and the man who answered refused to give me the manager's name before hanging up on me as well. This is not acceptable. You should not have to pay good money for incorrect orders followed by rude, dismissive treatment from management. I contacted DoorDash and received a full refund, but that doesn't change the fact that this place has terrible quality control and even worse customer service. Bottom line: Avoid this restaurant entirely. There are far better options out there that actually care about getting your order right and treating customers with basic respect. Do not waste your time or money here whoever the manager is on duty today April 11, 2026 at 9:20am im sure the owners will know who she was. They refused to tell me her name. wonder why?

Now I can't imagine ordering anything but this special- and I'm excited to try their other combos. So good! There was no choice of size on the special on GrubHub, and I did find it smaller than I anticipated, roughly half the size of the full size turkey sub also ordered along with mine, but the sandwich was packed full and very filling. (I didn't fully realize it would be a sandwich and not a sub, but now I see that is clear in the listing)

I just want to touch base about my most recent visit to Lenora's. I've been to this location about three times. This is the location on Dixie Highway. They have open air seating, which is really nice on most evenings. This particular evening we arrived about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close more like 35 minutes before they were scheduled to close at 10 PM. It was a Friday night. We ordered a pizza and the rigatoni with mushrooms and cream sauce and I wanted to add a piece of salmon to it. After we sat down, my boyfriend's pizza came out in about seven minutes maximum. It was piping hot. The cheese was kind of sloppy and all over the place. It didn't really look like it was made with love. But he said it was good. My food however, took about 20 to 25 minutes longer than his pizza did. He was done eating his entire pizza before my food came out. That's never a good situation. They could've at least warned us of that, or let us know that that would be the case if they didn't realize it until they started making the food. There were only two other tables there. Once my food did come out, the salmon that I added for protein was almost $15. Obscene! I could get almost 3 pounds of salmon for that amount. It was maybe a 6 ounce piece maybe. And when they brought it out, it was raw in the middle. So I had to send it back and that was not met with a positive attitude, even though we brought up the issue with a very positive attitude despite having to wait almost 30 minutes for me to even get my food after my boyfriend had finished his pizza. They brought the salmon back and when they returned it, the employee was very pleasant and asked if I wanted to check it first. I ended up eating half of the pasta and packing the rest up to take home because by this time it was a few minutes after 10 o'clock and we didn't want to sit there as the only table left when we knew that they were obviously ready for closing time. One thing I must say is that I think divine intervention kept me in a great mood because they played my favorite journey song, they played my favorite song of all time, which is Tears for Fears. Everybody wants to rule the world, and then they played Bob Seger, who is definitely the artist who would've been my boyfriend or at least my celebrity crush had I've been born a few years earlier. Anyway, that's me giving it to you Straight No Chaser. Enjoy!
