I would happily recommend Tooele Motor Company. We had a good experience buying a 2022 Chevy Bolt…read morefrom them. They were happy to let us drive the car, even though they were awaiting a battery recall for the vehicle. As we drove and had concerns, they were willing to take the car to the shop and immediately address them. As I had questions on the car's condition, they provided us with both a CarFax and repair history, and they gave us more information on the history as we cane up with questions. We had to wait for the recall to be completed before we could pick up the vehicle. We did a deposit that went toward the down payment and waited for Chevy to get the battery sent out here for the recall. The folks at TMC kept in regular communication with us and worked with us to get the financing set up (through pur independant financer) while not having us get charged until the car was in our possession. Finally, our rep, Ethan was great. He worked with us through the whole process, and he was always receptive whenever we had questions. Even when we were waiting a while for the recall and regularly texted him to check in, he was patient and helpful. He even wished me a happy birthday before my parents did. And, when it came time that the car was ready to be picked up, he worked with my crazy schedule and my spouse being out of town by driving an hour to bring the car directly to my house. He was a highlight through the whole experience. I am happy with my whole experience, and I love our new vehicle!

A week into owning the vehicle, the truck started to develop a shudder in reverse, another week…read morelater, the truck completely lost reverse gear, as well as extremely low line pressures. Took it into a mechanic and they said that it likely had some anti clutch slip additive to band aid the issue until it was sold. I would really like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just an unfortunate and unlucky situation, but the truck only has 80,000 miles on it. They were really nice and helpful with the buying process, so I would like to think they had no idea that the transmission was going out. I would just say to bring a scan tool or mechanic with you when purchasing used vehicles.

They've got a high turnover of vehicles, and their prices are pretty good. If they don't have what…read moreyou're hoping to find, wait a minute, they might get it in. Just understand that with a good price, comes some work to be done on your end. I purchased my car through them knowing a few things were wrong (Tires, Alternator, Windshield, and a brake light warning on the dash - it was just low fluid). They dropped the price $200, I paid for it, the salesman told me the title was going to be sent next day, and I left in the car (Hoping the police didn't stop me between Murray and Ogden since I had no plates). It was purchased two days before Thanksgiving, so when my title didn't make it the next day I thought it might come the Friday after. Waited till Monday just to make sure, contacted them Tuesday and they said it was sent certified mail. It is Friday now, and I found out via the tracking number they gave me, that it wasn't sent out until yesterday at 1:30pm. I've owned the car for close to two weeks, and haven't been able to drive it (no temp tag from Buy Right Enterprise, LLC. when you get a car, so be careful on your way home). Even if the title does arrive tomorrow (Saturday), I will have to wait until at least Monday (I work while the DMV is open) before I can get the emissions, and registration buttoned up. They did call, and apologize. I do believe they have good intentions, and do not want unhappy customers (I own several vehicles (projects?), so I am a very possible return customer to the places I've had good results with). Be patient with them, keep in contact (phone works best) about anything that was talked about at the time of sale, I believe they will provide you with a well priced used vehicle at a good value.

When we moved to Tooele about 5 years ago I wanted to make sure I did all things Tooele. I wanted…read moreto only use Tooele businesses and support them. This backfired immensely in this regard to the tune of thousands of dollars. My wife asked me to write this and I was reluctant because I don't want to bash a local business. She said I'm not bashing a local business as much as I am helping my neighbors. That makes sense to me so I will do my best to protect you. Do not use the service department here. I have taken my car here about 4 times spending hundred/thousands each time, adding up to a few grand for a car that I clearly explained was old but it's paid off and is my daily commuter to work. I was told it was fixed multiple times only to experience the same problem shortly after leaving. Calls are not returned. Cars will sit on their lot without being serviced for literal weeks until you reach out to them and ask them what's going on, and then they will give you some guess work synopsis that they had come up with days prior and never called you about. They will then tell you they can do the work and that it will take another week to complete when they could have called you 4 days previously to tell you and already have your car done. One time I dropped my car off on a Wednesday knowing I was going out of town and wouldn't need it until Tuesday in order to give them plenty of time. By Saturday I had received no call and I called them and was told they needed to order a sensor for my car and needed my permission to order it and install it before the took action. They found out about this on Thursday and had never called me. I told them to order it and then on Tuesday, a full week later I called them back and they had the sensor I already paid for and wanted to know if I needed them to install it. I said clearly that's what I want but now I'm back in town and need my car back to go to work tomorrow. So I picked the car up and asked them to call me when they can install this necessary sensor they told me to buy. They never called me, they have this sensor I spent over $200 on and have a receipt for, and I'm simply out this money. The kicker is that today after 4 solid years of forking over thousands of dollars to this entity, my wife got upset and told me to go to a different dealership. I went to the Gus Paulo's in West Valley and they had the issue resolved within 4 hours and gave me an exact pick up time plus a paid for Lyft back to work while they did the needed fixes. When I told them if they need help diagnosing issues they could call the Tooele dealership and get a history. They laughed and said that it's well known among dealers around the Salt Lake area that the Tooele dealership is notoriously known for poor service and that they don't fix cars. That's the information. So make your own decisions. My opinion: They aren't criminals, thieves, or dishonest. I believe they are simply inept and incapable and mal-trained in what they claim to be specialists of. They probably don't even know that they have a part I purchase but never had installed that's worth hundreds of dollars. They don't hire people who take care of or are capable of fulfilling their obligations to their customers. I am 100 percent ripped off and I allowed it by going back again and again. It's my own fault. Don't make it your fault also.

Wow..........if I could leave negative stars. Took our car…read morethere and told them what was wrong. And told the tech Lorenzo what we believed the problem was and asked if he could fix it. He stated YES !!!!!!! after we got the no call from them I had to call and ask what is the problem. He said everything I stated to him. But at this time it could not be fixed by them they don't have a mechanic comfortable to do the repairs and don't have the tools to do the work. it would be extra cost to me to buy them. I stated why would I buy the tools for your mechanic that don't feel comfortable to do the work? They said it's just a suggestion. Let me tell you all the car needed was a water pump and a thermostat to be replaced. The car is under a warranty, but the only way the diagnostic can be paid out is if the shop doing the work can do the work. I had to call the service manager and ask them why they could not do the work and let them know that I'm not paying for the diagnostic if you can't perform the work on the car. I also talk to the Warranty Company and ask them. How are they trying to charge me for a diagnostic when they don't have a technician qualified to do the diagnostic for the work Because they told me they don't have a qualified technician to perform the work with the right tools so disappointed. Now the vehicle has to be towed to another shop to have another diagnostic on the car and then get the work performed by a professional that can do the work all the way in Salt Lake City. I will never take any vehicle to this place ever again and I still had to pay for one minute worth of a diagnostic at $139 and that's what it stated on the paperwork. I got from them one minute of work $139 for the diagnostic Estimate time to fix the car 5.5 hours
