Plain Chicken Wings

Tony's has great, delicious pizza ( I always get medium dough). My co worker and I ordered from work and I had a taste for chicken wings. I got plain because I laws get honey bbq or a flavored and wanted to change up to start trying the regular plain wings to review. These were good to the bone! I never eat wings down to the bone due to some wings containing the veins partially cooked and so forth. Not Tony's! These wings will have you nibbling the ends due to the good seasoning, and perfect fry. 5 stars!

This restaurant has been a family favorite for well over 20 years. Recently I wanted to give my 16 year old son small party with a few family and friends. I went in a few days before the party (poor planning on my part) and they were able to accommodate myself and 25 guest. We were given a small banquet room, complete with cloth napkins and banquet chairs. We had a private entrance, private bar and private restrooms. There is a speaker audio system where you can steam your own pandora music. Let's talk about the service: outstanding! We were able to order the pizzas of our choice and they came out quickly. Salad , dressing, water and soda was left on the table. My guest did serve themselves buffet style to the pizzas but this was flawless. Thank you Tony's for accommodating us for a very reasonable price and with amazing service!

This is my burnt Lg cheese pizza

So I'm not taking away from the fact that Tony's is one of the best pizza places that I know of in Springfield besides Red Rose where I should have gone however that's $52 on burnt pizza the problem for me was it was overly burnt now I went on Tony's website left a review no one has contact me so now I'm here

Meatball, sausage and fettuccini.

The service is great. I had chicken marsala and it wasn't that good. Small chunks of chicken, maybe two ounces worth. Thin marsala sauce.

Horrible experience. Overcharged. Owners response "it's your banks fault". Lost another customer.

Always great food, especially the cheeseburger grinder. I watched them form the patties from ground beef and grill them.

Our family moved out of state about 10 years ago and we still have to stop and pick up a party size pizza if we are back in the Springfield area.

What can I say... I'm a millennial who loves nostalgia…read more So when it came time to meet up with a dear friend back home, where else would we meet but Red Rose? We've both celebrated many a special occasion here in the 90s and this time was no different. I was extremely happy to see that absolutely nothing had changed. That kind of reliability is exactly what you want from your favorite restaurant back home. You basically want to leave it in a time capsule and walk back in after 30 years to find it right as you had left it. The place was bustling per usual. The server was fantastic. The wine was great. The house salad and house dressing were so good they made me want to scarf down vegetables. But the meatball grinder... THE MEATBALL GRINDER!!! (I now live in a place where we call them subs, but nothing compares to a good grinder.) It was culinary perfection: the bread was golden and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The perfect balance of bread, sauce, cheese, and meatball. And the flavor of the meatball itself was perfectly seasoned and balanced. I'm already 100 miles away and I'm still thinking about it and will be for days... weeks... MONTHS! Until next time

They gave us a buzzer, told us it would be about 25 minutes, and we went into the bar to have a glass of wine and wait. I must say the chaos was beautifully controlled. Lots of room in the bar, and a spot to order drinks if you couldn't get a seat at the bar. Generous pour on the wine. And sure enough, about 25 minutes later our table was ready. Waitress was friendly, helpful, professional. Servings were more than ample. Fried calamari appetizer was delicious, crispy, not at all greasy. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken dish. I, however, was disappointed, and I blame myself. I should know better than to order eggplant at a restaurant. If I'm ordering eggplant rollatini, I'd like to taste the eggplant. I don't know why restaurants insist on slicing it so thin that you can't actually taste the eggplant, just the breading. It's not that it's an expensive ingredient, it's gotta be cheaper than the cheese....anyway, I'd go back but hopefully I have learned my lesson - if I want to taste eggplant, I'll cook it myself.

You have to order a side of pasta with the chicken parm which was odd, I feel it should come with it. The menu also doesn't explain what does, and doesn't come with each order. We made reservations and were brought to our table fairly quickly considering the amount of people waiting in the lobby. We ordered calamari and the garlic knots special for an appetizer. The appetizers took a while to come out, so our waitress brought our salads first. The salads were good. Calamari got great views and the garlic nuts as well. Or dinners also took a while to come out on a busy Saturday night, but everyone liked the food. The ribeye was overcooked but we didn't want to send it back and wait longer. Filet was good, lamb chops were excellent, baked stuffed shrimp got rave reviews. Veal marsala was swimming in Marsala sauce. Way too much sauce. Fettuccine was good. We had desserts. Those were good too. The staff saying happy birthday to the 90-year-old birthday girl. That was very nice. Overall, it was a good meal that took nearly 3 hours but we had appetizers, dinners and dessert.
