a plate of food with rice and meat

Unlike other reviews I read, This white girl from MHD (well not from there...) was treated perfectly well. I had the beef (large) and chicken (small) I pointed to what looked good. Which was hard because it all looked really good and Spanish rice (there were three different kinds) they were out of plantains, but there was a whole array of other things we should have tried, my Spanish is rusty and my teenage son was mortified that I even tried. I really wished I had a menu or someone could suggest a few more items. Next time. Place was packed and I didn't want to hold up the line. Very generous portions, we will make two meals of this. Thank you!

Rice & beans, pork, pastelitos, sweet potatoe balls! Yuumm!

This place has some of the best Dominican food ever! However, if you don't know exactly what everything is, don't expect to get the friendliest of service. Also, not the cleanliness place to sit and eat. Take it to go! They have yellow rice with red beans, rice with black beans or white rice. My usual go too, along with the pork on the side. Pastelitos, today I got chicken but usually prefer beef ones and a sweet potato ball with some plantains. Ask for a lime wedge because sometimes they don't give you one. Prices are pretty cheap. A plate with rice, beans and pork plus all those sides cost me around $10. Can't beat it. Parking can get dicey though.

Good food, great prices. They finally have an official menu too. . Fried chicken is delicious. Rice is good, bistec, chicken and beef Stew great as well, everything is good. Mangu is always made just right. They also have juices they make, chinola(passion fruit) Tamarindo, cereza(cherry). Etc. Staff is usually pretty friendly, I've only had one rude worker. I personally prefer this tipico location over the other one in lynn. There's a good amount of tables and a tv.

Good stuff cheap. Rotisserie chicken, potato ball, potato salad. Stop In on A Sunday night Pretty busy. It took a little while to get served walk up counter service I guess a few people were on break. But to my surprise very enjoyable food and service. Everything was clean and well stocked people are friendly and courteous. I got a whole chicken, 4 potato balls, in a good amount of potato salad and a can of coke, $14. Enough for three people and my dog. Definitely Will come back to try some other things on the menu. .......Argentine Cowboys Boston ma...

Always a line and now I know why! Visiting from Hawaii we don't get this type of food at all. Everything was savory and tasty. Honestly this place made the most impact on my taste buds during my vacation. As they say, eat where the locals eat!

White rice and chicharrons. Fried and sweet plantains.

My favorite Dominican joint. Drove up here all the way from Worcester every time. The food is always the best. I love their chicharron and white rice with sweet plantains. The chicharron has a perfect flavor and perfect crispness to it. Their white rice has an amazing flavor. The food is always good here but their service isn't great. They tend to cater to their own kind first. You might have to wait even though if you arrived first cuz they will cater to their own kind first.

Food is good and great price. But DO NOT EVER CALL FOR DELIVERY. It took them 2 hours till my food was delivered. My advice just pick up.

I live in the area and had been meaning to try this place since I heard it was under new ownership…read more I recently ordered the Mofongo with chicharrón, and it was fantastic. You can really tell they take their time and care with the food--everything was cooked properly, and I especially appreciated that the pork belly chunks were completely cleaned and shaved. That's usually a major turnoff for me elsewhere, so it definitely earned extra points here. The only thing that could be seen as a downside is the price. The Mofongo was $30, which is on the higher side. That said, the portion size, sides, and overall quality absolutely justified the price in my opinion. I'm happy to go back and try more dishes. Best of luck to the new owners, my family and I enjoyed your food very much!

I stopped by Punta Cana Dominican Grill curious to try something new. I asked to switch out my…read morewhite rice for yellow, which they did -- and while I was disappointed they forgot my beans, I still gave it a fair try. The yellow rice was fluffy and filling, and the yuca fries were actually a standout -- golden, crispy, and really satisfying. The salad, however, came with no dressing, and the chicken definitely didn't match the saucy, glistening version I saw in their online photos. Mine was a bit drier and missing that visual punch. All in all, it wasn't bad! I wouldn't tell anyone to skip it -- it's worth a taste if you're nearby and in the mood for Dominican food. I have a feeling there are other items on the menu I might enjoy more, so I'd give it another shot with different picks next time.
