He said he would come at noon, he called to confirm he was on his way at 11:30 and arrived right at noon. He was clear about pricing and was communicative throughout the job. Everything is installed and looks and works great! They also cleared away all the trash associated with the job. I will definitely call them again for other projects.

They have helped us completely renovate two bathrooms with custom showers, cabinets, and non standard tiles, retiled and painted our basement, painted our staircase wooden railings, and installed marmoleum flooring in our kitchen. Each time, David came up with creative and viable options for us, advised and accommodated us on any custom requests, kept us up to date on timeline, and made sure to check in with us on any decisions as the project evolved. David's crew is also very skilled, professional, courteous, and meticulous. They all have a very high sense of quality as evidenced by how well the tile fitting and flooring came out (we live in an old row house so nothing is straightforward). David also has a network of special contractors that he pulls in for special tasks (like installing a glass shower door). Their pricing is also reasonable , especially considering the value and peace of mind you get with David and his crew's professionalism.

Philip's Design - Custom cut-to-length Curtain Rods and drapes close to ceiling. Customer wanted them just barely touching the floor.

The big chessboard required metal brackets. Philip ensured that the piece was attached to the wall securely. Overall, very professional. I will definitely hire him in the future. I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

As you can see, the kids broken a pane of glass on the window leading to the sunroom and Alex was able to replace it with a similar piece of glass without any issues. I feel like the photos speak for themselves in terms of what he can fix. He was very responsive via text and prompt with when he would arrive for taking measurements or for installing. We are a no shoes household and he noticed that right away on entry and took his shoes off so that he didn't step on our carpet with his shoes. I appreciate his attention to details like that and being respectful. The price was reasonable at 220 to repair this. There's no way I would have been able to get this done myself given the time it took. I will definitely be using Alex as my handyman from here on out.

They got back to me immediately which I really appreciated, and even after a problem getting to my house (unexpected road work in my neighborhood), we were able to communicate over text to get an estimate. They came out promptly to get the repairs done and did an excellent job. In addition to the scheduled work, the guys took a look at a couple other issues I had to give me a professional opinion on options, and advised and gave me a quote for some other exterior siding/trim maintenance recommended. The work was reasonably priced and I really appreciated being able to get someone professional, reliable, and timely to get the work done. I would highly recommend them for any work you need done!
