What a wonderful pastry shop and bar! I came here once on a local cousin's recommendation, and immediately fell in love. This is a typical Italian pastry shop and bar, where locals gather in the morning for a cornetto (French call them croissants) and coffee. The pastries are superb, coffee's excellent, and service terrific. If you're in the mood for a little ancient history, you can even gaze at the ruins of the old city wall a few yards behind their window as you nibble your cornetto and sip your coffee. A wonderful Sunday morning treat near La Fontana dello Zodiaco. I enjoyed a cornetto filled with a lemon pastry cream and berries (5/5 2,50€) and caffè Americano (5/5 1,20€). We sat on their enclosed patio to enjoy our treats. Counter service was friendly and pretty quick.. read more
