I found this place on my first day in Rome - lucky lucky find! Small, with a few high tables and stools in the middle this is a great place for a Roman lunch on the go. Pizzas are sold by the kilo, topped and baked and then cut for you. There is a huge salad counter with everything from fried chicken, to sundried toms in olive oil, to fresh rocket.
I had a big chicken salad, a bottle of water and 2 cokes, and it came to 7 euros. Smiley, charming, laid back service, great food and a fascinating view to the road outside.
I watched a young couple meet in the road, embrace, laugh, share a kiss or two and then fifteen minutes later go their separate ways with lingering glances. Passion is everywhere in Rome and Pizza Design is a good place to witness it.
Very popular with the local students from the university and the carabinieri (who have beer with their pizza!) this is a well priced, highly pleasant experience. read more
