I get it, breakfast time could be rough if too packed, so I get that pre-making food to serve the rush needs to be done sometimes, but there was no line on a Tuesday morning at 745am, no one in front of me. So why was my entire breakfast cold, except my eggs and the gravy on my cold biscuit. Even the toast was cold. Might be a bad batch, or they truly just suck now. We've tried this place out a couple of times and have good experiences. The employees have always been polite. Our second visit the woman taking our order was very welcoming. Special requests were taken without complaint and the food made correctly. The omelets, hah browns, breakfast burritos and burgers are good and tasty. This is a great location if you want a good breakfast later in the day too. It looks like a lot of the negative reviews are about the drive thru. We walked in a ate there during each of our visits, and our orders were fresh and accurate, so it is unclear where the disconnect is. Today is a sad day . I ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy from Tom's this morning and this is what I got. I received 2 biscuits cut in half and not enough gravy to even cover the tops of the biscuits, usually they are smothered in gravy and there are 4 biscuits. I write this to warn you about the chicken and waffles. Do not order them. I have been going to this place for years, and feel compelled to warn people about this dish. It sounds like a good deal because you get 4 pieces of chicken and a waffle, but the chicken is absolutely disgusting. It taste extremely greasy and fatty but worst of all, they are extremely small and dwarfed. It almost doesn't look like chicken. I wish I took a picture. The wing doesn't look like a wing, the leg was the size of my pinky finger, I am not exaggerating. I know you may think this may just be one occurrence, but this has happened to me every single time I order this. The last time I sent the food back and asked about it, and was told by the manager they cannot do anything about it because that is the way they receive the 'chicken' from their supplier and they cannot do anything about it. They know and continue to serve it. What a shame. Used to be good in the past, not anymore. The last two times I ate there, including today, I got sick within an hour. Also problems with lack of cleaning tables and leaving food on the floor. I noticed that the person who handled the cleaning, was touching dirt and cleaning tables, did it without gloves and didn't wash his hands and then handled food. Just went there to pick up lunch for myself and 2 others. We all ordered BLTA with no tomato. To of them had extra lettuce, extra bacon. All the sandwiches were made exactly the same! I normally love this place. Good food, good service. I go there maybe once a week. Tonight I ordered a Tom's breakfast burrito with a side of bacon. I also decided since the people always give good, pleasant service, I'd tip them more than normal. And they forgot to give me the side of bacon. This isn't the first time, they have forgotten an item at the drive thru. I should have double checked before I drove off, which is my bad. But now I'm home and don't want to drive all the way back to get my bacon or my money back. Oh well. If you go here, be sure to check the bag and make sure they gave you everything because if you drive away you are out of luck. I mainly come here for their family meal deals after 3 p.m. 3 burgers, fries, and drink $10.99 or 4 burgers, fries, and drink for about $24 with tax. Fantastic deal and made fresh to order so if driving through be prepared for a 10-15 minute wait (when no one else is in line). Customer service: Speaking from someone who only has used the drive through they are good and accommodating with order combinations. My order has always been correct. Price: $ is very reasonable. I can feed my family for under $20. Food quality: I'd definitely recommend their burgers which I usually order. They are classic burger joint style. Other foods I have tried are grill cheese (pretty good), gyro (so so, would not re-order), and burrito (so so but this is a hamburger joint). I think this place is harassing their workers and this guy Angel is taking Advantage of his authority as a manager in that place of business.
