Always a great place for brunch! Good food and good service! Grab a table and know your number!

Great breakfast spot. The food was great. They are very generous with their portions so be ready to stuff your face :) I'm mad I really thought I took a pic of my food :( I only took a pic of my pancakes. I ate an omelette which was delicious. Pancakes were also very good! The service was awesome. Friendly staff & very attentive. The place is very clean they do have private parking and street parking is also available.

March 2026 Menu - No Prices

I eat here more than I should. So many good choices. Today was a cheddar cheese and jalapeño omelet, hash browns and grilled rye toast. So filling - had to take half home. The service is always top notch. Even though you order at the counter, they always come by your table to make sure everything is OK and if you need anything.

Highly recommend the rib eye steak dinner 10/10. A co-worker recommended me here and they blew my mind. Great price the service was great and the place is so clean and newly remodeled. Great place all around

French toast bacon and eggs really good I love to come here, fast service and great customer service!!!!

Lately I have noticed a very big change in terms of service, they receive you very kindly and very attentive as to whether you are missing something or want more coffee, etc etc!!! Well done TOM's Team

Friendly face greeted me, looking for a cheeseburger to see if it is good enough to talk or write about, quick answer not really but the name Tom's Family stuck with me, prices are decent I'd say family affordable! Liked the Pasadena based murals do if you have friends that live nearby snd you don't want to break the bank yeah sure . One quibble , didn't like the cheese they use.

WOW! What a Deal!. Everything was fantastic, prepared and presented very well. I'd give it all a 10+ Excellent service by excellent people and the Ambiance is very welcoming.

This place always hits the spot -- I love club sandwiches and theirs is pretty tasty. Bacon could've been a bit more crispy but delicious nonetheless

Waited 15 min the line didn't move. There was 4 cars piled up. This is why no one hardly comes here. The food is ok, just go to tops.

What is the point of a drive thru if you cannot hear a single word I am saying? I screamed strawberry pancake no less than three times. I asked for hash browns and you said orange juice? You try to pass over a bag that is four containers tall and impossible to pass thru to a car window.... And of course I got NO strawberry pancakes. Never again.

beans are delicious, the rice is amazing and the Chilaquiles were nice and crispy with good flavor.

My New Go-To Spot for Amazing Mexican Food! I'm very particular about Mexican food, especially because I lived in San Diego where the Mexican food scene is unbeatable. But let me tell you--**Tom's Famous in Pasadena on Walnut and Mar Vista** has completely won me over! Their food is SO good, and they have everything I could ask for. First off, the fact that they have a **drive-through** is a game-changer! You get the convenience of fast food with the quality of a diner. Speaking of which, the food is prepared quickly but is packed with authentic flavor. Their **homemade salsas** are delicious, and the customer service is excellent--friendly, attentive, and fast. I'm honestly surprised more people don't know about this place. The food is top-notch, the portions are huge, and the prices are great. I ordered the **Chilaquiles Mexican Combo for just $12**, and it was a massive, high-quality meal. You really get your money's worth here. If you're looking for a new spot to enjoy amazing Mexican food, you've got to check them out. This is definitely my new favorite place, and I can't wait to come back for more!

I recommend getting cash at your bank ATM before stopping by. We were trying to divvy up what we could order with what we had on us until we discovered the ATM. We ordered shareables, so we started with an one of the egg breakfasts combos, and added a side of pancakes and a lemon merengue pie to go. What stood out is the jams/preserves were house made, as well as their salsa. The salsa has a kick but it is good. I couldn't say anything bad about what we ate because it was SO good. I am craving on going back for the preserves and pancakes. I know we'll have to go back for the burgers for out next visit. We sat at the counter but our waitress was above average/excellent service. It's so nice to be somewhere so welcoming and local.

Friend, now I know what food is like in prison. The gravy was a bland, featureless runny liquid (no, even runnier than you're thinking), devoid of any seasoning whatsoever. I legitimately believe they dug a pan that used to have gravy in it out of the dirty dishes, swished some water around in it and poured it on my plate. The "biscuits" were hardly any better, lacking any hint of butter or flake, instead seeming like someone stirred up some Bisquick and threw it on the flattop grill. This meal was an insult and a punishment, and as part of a $70 check it felt like I was being personally invited to a fistfight by the dumpster. Alas, I had somewhere else to be. And somewhere else, anywhere else, is what I'll choose next time when breakfast is due. For reference, biscuits and gravy should include round, buttery, flaky biscuits using dough that was rolled out, cut, and baked. Gravy in this context is a richer, creamier milk gravy with substance, at minimum seasoned with fresh cracked pepper and perhaps some paprika. Offering a sausage gravy wouldn't hurt either. Or don't offer biscuits and gravy at all if you don't know what the f**k you're doing.

Well worth it; I eat burritos half this size for the same price in downtown LA. Ordered a side of hash browns they were solid as well. Only gripe would be that there wasn't much bacon or sausage in it (comes with both but needs more of both.) Melaniya served me proper. For dinner I got a Chinese Chicken Sandwhich which was okay....but I would only eat it again if i was in need desperately for fiber. Today, I started off with the same coffee routine, but for lunch I got their Italian combo which was lasagna with salad and garlic bread stick. WOW. That lasagna was super dry. It was one of those frozen lasagna that you can buy at Costco...but even if I were to make it it would come out better. The food wasn't even kept in a steamer, but a tin foil tray so it was cold and dry. BLEH. The salad was okay, but they piled it on with ranch dressing :( And the bread stick. my GOSH! The roof of my mouth is still trying to recover from the flavorless dry plank of carbs that I was given. All that for ~$7. RIPPPPP OFFFFFFF. There is still the Chinese selection and the grill that I have yet to try. Chinese doesn't look too promising...for sure worse than Panda Express right across the street. The grill though looks good considering they actually make it for you on the spot. They also have a fried popcorn chicken and french fries you can grab and go. It looks good, but I have mainly 2 issues with it 1) It costs ~$6.50 and 2) it's WRAPPED IN SARAN WRAP IN A STYROFOAM TRAY SITTING UNDER THE HEAT TRYING TO KEEP IT WARM!!! uh...HELLO?!?!
