    Pepper relish

I had to go to Morrison to pick up a porcelain umbrella stand. Did not have time for breakfast, so was delighted to find Tommy's Subs!! Was sorely tempted by the Cubano. But ordered a chicken Philly cheesesteak with grilled onions and mushrooms. YUM!!! It cane with a side of hot marinara sauce--that was different--and a spicy pepper relish. Both are AWESOME. Pepper relish has a nice bite. I did eat some of the bread. It's soft, not as chewy as Pat's. Service is friendly and cheerful. It's a good-sized, no-frills, very Colorado space. They don't have any hot drinks, like coffee or tea, but have a nice selection of bottled and fountain drinks. On a Saturday, the joint was hopping, lol. Clearly a local favorite, and I see why. I'm debating getting the Cubano to go. I only finished half my Philly chicken, and am stuffed!

Meh, sub standard subs and a bit of a toxic owner or GM. It might be ok in a bind, but there are other places you can find.

This place has potential but one major flaw. Our sandwiches had excellent flavor but were extremely skimpy on the meat. Honestly these needed at minimum twice the meat.

Very tasty sandwich!! After hiking the red rocks we wanted something quick and easy, this location was less than 10 min drive and a perfect lunch spot. Sandwich was packed with flavor, pork was tender, just the right amount of spice. Service was quick, has outdoor seating, good music.

You can read braille through the amount of meat on the sandwich!!!!

This place has been around since I was a kid. It was amazing for many years. I know it's changed hands a couple times, and I'm not sure who the owner is now. It's also been a while since I've been here as I moved out of town for a few years. I was so excited to get another Tommy's sub the other day. I can truly say I was saddened by what has happened to Tommy's. I ordered my usual Italian Cosmo, and pardon the expression, but you could literally "read braille" through the amount of meat they put on the sandwich. Picture provided so you know I'm not exaggerating. The place is still clean and inviting, but wow, the food has gone so downhill so sad.

Had to pick up some cupcakes next door and decided to grab a sandwich from Tommy's. They opened pretty early that day which worked out and decided to go with their roast beef special. Not my favorite of their sandwiches, but when you put it on one of their soft and crispy rolls it automatically becomes awesome.

The owner resembles a young version of the soup nazi from Seinfeld. Sandwiches are to die for. If you dont eat here, youre missing out.

Best subs in Denver! Great spot to hit up before red rocks. The spicy peppers make the subs.

Always worth stopping here when close. Someday I'll try something besides the club sandwich.

A really good sandwich on tasty bread. The only thing missing....pickles. How can you have subs w/o pickles?

Coming from an Italian family, I am well versed in Italian sandwiches. Carmine Lornardo's the real deal! We ordered the 24" Carmine Italian. Every bite was as good as the last. My dad struck up a conversation with Carmine, who was working behind the counter as he does every day, just as his dad (according to him). We sat down at one of the 4 tables to enjoy our sandwich which was pre split for us. As we were finishing up and the lunch crowd was slowing a bit but was still steady, when Carmine stopped at our table to chat with my dad. He told us an amazing story of how their sausage and pepper sandwich was featured in Food & Wine magazine and how he found Put about it. A true Italian man living in his owned world, he was not familiar with the magazine. But that put them on the food seen. He then brought my dad his famous sausage and pepper sandwich, on the house! We came back later that week and ordered pasta with sausage and sauce for dinner which he provided as part of their dinner to go series. If I lived closer, I would never be cooking, I would just be at Carmine's for lunch and dinner! Don't sleep on this authentic Italian restaurant with old world charm.

We were on our way up to red rock and wanted to grab some lunch for the tailgate. We ordered the French dip and the special #5 cutlet sandwich as well as Mac salad and black and white cookie. The sandwiches are expensive but big. The French dip was $13.99 and the special was $18.99 for an 8in. Our meal ended up being around $60 for two sandwiches, a Mac salad, chips and two pastries. The mac salad was very good and tasty but the sandwiches were a total disappointment. The French dip lacked ANY flavor even a bit of salt would've gone a long way. When we dipped it in the au jus, it still lacked any flavor. We ended up only taking a few bites then tossing it and moving onto the #5. Both sandwiches were incredibly soggy and we maybe ate them 20 minutes after getting them. Taste was decent with the cutlet sandwich but oh my heartburn. We both had heartburn the entire duration of the concert. Just a disappointing experience after spending so much money.

This restaurant is absolutely excellent. I would come here regardless of whether I was seeing a concert or not. The attention to detail, from the decor, to the drinks, to the food, to the service, is darn near perfect. We tried a mocktail and a cocktail, both cucumber-based. They were basically slightly different versions of the same drink and they were both wonderful and very refreshing. This place absolutely hits home runs with their cheese and charcuterie boards. They are stunningly beautiful. We went with two meats and two cheeses and our server provided excellent recommendations. We probably didn't need to have any more food other than the cheese and meat board but we decided to split a filet mignon and it was excellent. The food, drinks, decor, and service were all top-notch. I would return here again and again. I would eat and drink my way through the whole menu like a hungry goat, I guess.

We were excited to try them because they said they made their own juice, which I believe, but it may have gone sour or something. The goat cheese appetizer was not for me, it was just hot liquidy cheese. Maybe it would be better in the winter. The salmon was decent but not what I expected. It was almost prepared like an Asian dish. However the service was awesome. The ambiance is cute but I wouldn't recommend it for a super hot day because the restaurant is indoor/outdoor
