Tommy's is one of my all time favorite restaurants for several reasons. I have lived down the street and have watched them grow into a very successful business over the years. My favorite sandwich is the Italian. It's super filling and really tasty. The newest menu item is their BBQ sandwich with the white sauce. It isn't at all what I was expecting. Found this place on Yelp when we were looking for someplace family-friendly to eat before Dinosaur Ridge. The sandwiches were delicious and the bread was fresh. The menu isn't big but it doesn't have to be. Our 2 sandwiches did come out about 10 minutes apart but other than that, we'd definitely recommend this place. read more

What has happened to Tommy's? We started going to Tommy's in 1995 and have been through all the owners. On our last visit they lost our order, we waited 1 hour then to our disappointment the cheese steaks were completely tasteless and the owner was rude and could care less. We won't be going back and I won't be recommending to friends as in the past. read more

I have eaten here many times and for the most part the food was good however the customer service is horrible. It's apparent the girl running the register and taking the orders had very little interest or experience in providing food service. This has been my experience in the 4 times I have eaten there and I would rather take my business elsewhere and recommend others to do the same. 4-12-13 Experience- I placed a phone order for pick, the gal taking my order cut me off mid placement assuming I was complete and I had to give her the "hold up" before she hang up the phone. I arrived at the shop about 15 minutes after placing my pick up order (noon) and found the usual line (not a big deal). Proceeded to wait for about 10 min until my turn at the register where the gal informed me they didn't have a ticket for my order. We went round and round for a few minutes where she named other orders that were not under my name, or orders that didn't match mine, asked for my name a couple times, I re-stated my order until finally she just stated "I don't have anything like" and proceed to help the next customer. She didn't ask if I would like to wait until the filled the order or would I like to place an order again, just "I don't have anything like" and on to the next customer. At this point I determined I would never go back again, for the dollar amount and the quality of the food you money is better served elsewhere. read more

I highly suggest trying Tommy's Subs, you will not be disappointed. They have a fantastic staff who is friendly and outgoing and have always provided me with great customer service. The ingredients are fresh and delicious which obviously means the sandwich is fresh and delicious. I'd give them 4 stars, but the blonde gal always give me weird attitude when I go in there. I have been going into this place since Tommy and susan opened it up back in the 90's. The bread has a good chew, ($0.50 per loaf) and fresh, 1oz of meat (12" sub?) (? that's $0.44 cost to them for the turkey) with the works, lettuce plenty ($0.14) onions and condiments ($0.12) $1.2 cost to them and they charge $9.50 ($) still looking for the value. The markup should be 75% that would be $3.60, they charge over 3 times their cost, "over priced" / Jimmy Johns charges under $7 for a #10 ~12" 1/4 lb (4oz's) of roast beef, good bread and fresh toppings. Sub way uses at least 2.5 oz's. Tommy's is coming in as over rated by my standards! read more

Tommy's used to be a lot better before the two original owner's left. The philly cheese steak is probably your best bet. The regular sandwiches are mostly bread, with little meat. The last two times I've gone there they really skimped on the meat. It's a fairly good sub sandwich but definitely a little over-priced. I would recommend Which Wich over this place. read more

this is the only negative review ive ever written on yelp. But i got home looked at the cheese steak the blonde lady their had made, and decided to voice my opinion. Kinda of a lame place. Total posers in this joint, don't be fooled! They have decor like their local, or small. And care about tasty food, not in my experiences. They only care about money here I guess because they really don't put any love, or pride in their food. My Philly cheese steak Barely had any thing in it. A huge bun with a little bit of meat in it. I've been in here several times and they're never "really" friendly, but more of a "I hate my job but cant say that." attitude. Also the two middle aged chicks who work their always have a really crappy look on their face. Oh and they take off weird days. But their sandwiches aren't bad, their just average. Overall about as good a subway, except more expensive, less consistent, oh and not as many options. read more

Every now and again I just crave a sammich.You will find me loading one up "BG" style, aka with lots of condiments and fixings. I like a lot of Flavor Town in between my bread slices. Tommy's is located in a little strip mall, right next to a liquor store, but dont let the appearance fool you; they really pump out some quality sandwiches. They even make their own rolls, which is impressive, and they are the perfect bite of crusty, chewy and soft......mouth is watering. I ordered the Roast Beef and Cheddar, and you better believe I requested that it came "loaded" with cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, & special peppers. More importantly, I seem to have had a few bad run-ins with roast beef at other establishments, but I left my worries at the door at Tommy's. It was tender, thinly sliced and not-from-last-month's delivery. Everything about the visit was on point; the ingredients were fresh, the flavors really melded together well, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I will say that space is limited in this venue, and it got crowded quickly during the 20 minutes I spent there. Regardless, our sandwiches didn't last long and we didn't end up taking any leftovers home - that should tell you something! Give this place a try, it's worth it! read more

Best sandwiches in the Morrison / Littleton / Ken Caryl area - hands down! Every person working at Tommys is always friendly and nice. We always call in our order about 10-15 minutes ahead and it's ready and very convenient. Weekends they sometimes have tri tip sandwiches. I was also there the same day as the one star review and my boyfriend and I witnessed his embarrassing fit. He got his money back and still got his food and made a scene in front of a LOT of loyal customers. I also heard a man in line say to his buddy "this line is too long lets get out of here" and IMMEDIATELY someone came up while he was in line and took his order and the staff got things cooking and the men said then 'glad we stayed that was easy'! Delicious! The best subs I have ever tasted. Make sure you get your sub loaded (special peppers!!!) and I don't even like peppers :) Staff is super friendly and service is quick. Great Philly Steak but they use Styrofoam for to-go orders which sucks for the environment. The second time I asked to just get the sandwich wrapped in aluminum and they said the sub would be soggy but it wasn't. Will be back another time. read more
