They sent two guys who 1) Blocked the entire driveway with their truck so I couldn't pull in when I got home. Plenty of room to park on either the left or the right - no, they blocked the whole thing. When I asked them to move so I could pull my car in, they refused, saying they were "almost done". They weren't almost done, I had to park all the way down the block. 2) Left rust and trash and other garbage all over the driveway - why do this? Just clean it up. 3) DIDN'T INSTALL WASHING MACHINE CORRECTLY, THEY HAD TO COME BACK (which they did, with attitude). They installed the hot water linked to the cold, and vice versa. 4) Drove over the lawn, leaving tire tracks on the property. Why do this? Why not drive to the end of the driveway before making a turn? 5) Assumed that because of the color of our skin (I imagine), we didn't understand Spanish. Said nasty things about the lady of the house and myself. This actually was okay because I got to see their faces turn white when I cursed them out in Spanish and threatened to tell their boss exactly what they said. Absolutely incompetant and rude. Next time around, I'd happily pay more to go somewhere else rather than deal with this brand of nonsense. What a bunch of clowns.

He called when he said he would and the tech arrives on time. He says has to order the part. 2 days later part is in, they called again to say will be here to finish the job and both times was right on time. Not all repair companies even want to repair microwaves so i have to say i had no issues with anything regarding Allmake. This wasn't a big money maker for them.

Washer still leaked and they blew off 3 appointments with us. Finally gave up and called in another service. Turns out the leak was from a small hose that came off its fitting-a 5 minute issue but I luckily spotted the fact that the gasket was put on improperly and in fact the rear retaining spring was mangled by Allmake which would have soon resulted in a flood if we had continued using the machine. Had to pay to have the job redone. Stay away from these guys. They are out to make a few quick bucks off unsuspecting consumers while they can. They are perpetuating consumer fraud.

In the end, they fixed the issue and I appreciate that. Before the first visit, I asked if they could assess the likely parts needed in advance so we could avoid multiple trips. They brought one of the two parts, so a second visit was required. I may have been wrong to assume the second part could be brought or purchased ahead of time -- it's possible the technician needed to see the machine first to confirm. For future customers, it might help to carry that control board as a common part (I understand inventory is costly, but it could save time for everyone in cases like mine). There was also a long stretch when I couldn't reach them and didn't know whether they were still coming, which was stressful since I rearranged my schedule and cancelled a GE appointment to support a local business. They later explained they had no cell service in the area, which I now understand. Ultimately, they showed up, fixed the washer, and everything is working properly. We had hoped to be able to lift the whole thing a few inches, but had no idea how. Enter Eliot from Applicare. He pondered the situation, consulted a printout of the manufacturer's docs, and discussed with us. The conclusion was that we could probably just eliminate the canopy and retain the key functionality of the hood. 90 minutes of hard work ensued, mostly by him, but ably assisted by my wife and (occasionally) me, and it was done! The charge was entirely reasonable, and we'd be happy to engage him again. And he's a character!
