B1 - Thai Iced Tea and F1 - Pineapple Fried Rice
Renik T.

Cute little place with parking spaces! Great food ! We ordered the pineapple fried rice with beef with medium spicy And Thai iced tea

Jenny no customer friendly. Not comfortable in this uncomfortable environment with waitress Jenny. Walks away if we ask too many questions. I regret coming here

The food is so bad! Big chunks of vegetables, instead of finely chopped veggies, in the fried rice with absolutely no taste at all!! Pineapple fried rice has no pineapple in it. Roti kanai with roti that is uncooked and curry as much as a chutney bowl. The food is so bad and doesn't even taste like Thai food. Plus it is so expensive. Not worth it at all.

Such a cozy little spot with warm vibes and friendly service -- perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with family. The Spicy Catfish was absolutely amazing, packed with flavor and heat. The Garlic Butter Noodles were a huge hit with the kids -- simple, buttery, and perfectly cooked. We also loved the Chicken Satay -- tender, tasty, and a crowd-pleaser for both kids and adults. The Tom Yum Soup was spot-on -- savory, tangy, and super satisfying. Next time I'm definitely going to try their higher spice levels! For dessert, the Mango with Sticky Rice was nice and fresh, though a scoop of ice cream would've made it perfect. Generous portion sizes make it easy to share dishes, especially if you're dining with a larger group. Overall, a great spot for flavorful Thai comfort food and a cozy family lunch/dinner!

I've been coming here for the past year and food been consistent. My go to is pad see ew. It never fails. Service is a hit or miss. They sat quickly on a Friday.

Everything about this place was amazing! The food was perfectly spiced. Also the best bonus was the staff!!!

Peanut Sauce Chicken

Unassuming spot with a tiny parking lot. I see half the business are from to-go order pickups on a Wednesday night. The portions were big and food was solid. This is your straight forward, no fluff Thai comfort food. I never had peanut sauce chicken before but I love peanut butter and dishes. This ran too sweet and I'm sure has cups of sugar in it. Pad See Ew was decent. Spicy Basil Fish had big pieces of fish and lots of peppers too. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area and craving Thai food.

N7 - Noodle Garlic Butter Sauce

Ordered here for lunch. The food was below average In my opinion. The garlic noodle did not taste very flavorful. Also the noodles were on the oily side, I asked for it to be spicy, but it didn't taste like they added anything in. Had more of a soy sauce taste to it. Gave two stars because the sticky rice was decent but I have had better at other Thai restaurants.

I discovered this place about two months ago. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, I order my son and myself fresh spring rolls with tofu. On Fridays, my son and I take my father-in-law here for a meal. The food is incredibly delicious and served very quickly.

We ordered delivery. Everything arrived warm, which was nice and showed care in how it was packed. We had asked for our dishes extra spicy, but most of them came out pretty mild. The pad see ew had good protein but was a bit low on broccoli and the flavor felt a little flat. The catfish was flavorful, soft, and nicely flaky -- definitely a highlight. The larb wasn't quite what I'm used to; it missed that tangy, fish-sauce kick I usually enjoy. Even though it's a 3-star experience for me, there were still some bright spots and thoughtful touches.

Food is delicious and came out quick! Thai tea is always a favorite to get while eating here.

23 - Papaya Salad

Tommy Thai is a convenient spot when we want a quick bite close to home. The food is pretty tasty, the service is fast, and the portions are generous -- we usually eat half and take the rest home. Last time, we had the papaya salad (the best dish), spicy catfish (pretty good), and crispy beef, which I think I liked even more than the fish. Overall, everything was flavorful. I wouldn't call this my favorite Thai place, but I definitely don't mind coming back.

Deep red chili oil on top, beef broth underneath that tastes like it actually simmered for hours, tender braised beef, bok choy, scallions, and cilantro finishing it off. Heat builds slowly and stays there, not the cheap instant burn you get at lesser spots. The clear broth version is clean and comforting, more for the purist crowd, but the spicy has way more depth. Noodles are the real deal. Hand pulled in house, chewy with that perfect pull when you bite in, holds up in the broth without going soggy halfway through. You can order different thicknesses, which is the move. The cucumber salad appetizer is a must. Whole cucumber fanned out like a dragon coil, dressed simply with garlic, vinegar, and chili. Crisp, cold, cuts through the spice of the soup perfectly. Get one per person, trust me. Service is fast, prices are fair for what you get, and the bowls come out hot and massive. One of the most legit Lanzhou spots I've had in the Bay. Already planning the next visit.

While I never…read moremet the man, he has incredible taste, because Sweet Maple has the best breakfast food I've ever had in the bay area. Well worth the trip. The two of us were dubious about the Millionaire's Bacon, because it was hyped up to the point where it seemed unlikely that it could live up to the reputation. We were wrong. We ordered the Millionaire's Bacon sampler platter, which is four strips of long, thick pieces of bacon, baked with brown sugar and spices. There is the original, which is brown sugar, cayenne, red, and black pepper, which was sweet, salty, and the perfect amount of spicy. The other slices were orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. My partner enjoyed the orange best, whereas I loved the cinnamon, but we both thought the rosemary was underwhelming. The bacon itself was very thick and meaty with a minimal amount of fat, and was just clearly high quality pork. Truly worth the hype. We also got the bottomless mimosas, which not only had multiple choices of juice (we got raspberry lemonade) but were surprisingly heavy on the champagne. The waiter kept them coming without us needing to ask, to the point where I had to tell him I was done because I was a little too tipsy for breakfast. My partner got the chicken croffle, and was very impressed. I tried the fried chicken (though not the croffle) and it was very well spiced, very crunchy, and well cooked--juicy and tender. I got the big hip, which is deep fried "french toast". I wouldn't call it french toast myself, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with fresh fruit, butter, and syrup. There wasn't enough syrup for the entire dish, but I asked our waiter for more and he came back with it in less than a minute. On top of the food being as close to perfect as you can get, the service was great. Several different waiters checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we were enjoying the food and that we didn't need anything else. The vibes of the restaurant are really enjoyable too. The décor is lovely, the sound levels are very reasonable, and everything was spotless during our visit. Overall, I can't recommend Sweet Maple enough, and I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I would go bankrupt with the amount of Millionaire's Bacon I'd buy on a weekly basis.

The service we received was good, they were attentive. That said, I dislike the 4% employer mandates fee that they added. Even though it is stated in the small text in the menu, it is still sketchy. Just add that to the price from the beginning so we know what we expect to pay, instead of adding extra cost at the end, when we receive the bill. Here's what we ordered: - Pandan creme brulee: has good Pandan flavor, but I don't think I actually like creme brulee in general (I prefer Flan) so I can't say about this one. - Siam spice cocktail: good. I'd order again - Clay pot cod: cod was cooked to perfection. After seeing many reviews and videos online about the scallion pancake, I was very excited to finally grab a slot. When entering, the restaurant is quaint with a modern, minimalist interior. It's very small but def felt intimate. Our waiter was friendly and gave a thorough description of the menu since it was our first time. He was also receptive to our jokes when made especially when I didn't like the drink I ordered (the one with the corn liquor). For the food, unfortunately nothing really stood out to me, except for the somyun. For me, I am not a huge fan of milky things or cold noodles (just a preference of mine), but this was surprisingly the best dish for me as it hit the all or most of my flavor requirements. I think it's the creamy pine nuts that really held it together. Everything else as you can see in my receipt was nothing to rave about. Chicken wings were good but again, it didnt taste unique or told me this was a signature dish - like the reviews or TikToks. Oh and if you want a bowl of rice, it's $6 each lol. Even though the drinks were not to our liking but the staff were nice to take back my original drink and exchange it for the yuzu smash. But even that didn't make up for the disappointment that much. It was just very sour with a little amount - not that I needed more. We were expecting more for an upscale and hard to get place, but for the price you pay, I would not recommend this to anyone I know. Even as a special occasion I must say this was not worth it for me and my friends.
