Which needs proper torquing and proper placement for filter and oil ring to avoid oil leaks compared to the plastic cap and covers that tend to break and leak when not fitted properly. The head mechanic Gene proactively went above & beyond to make sure I was taken care of even though I was a first time customer. Super genuine individual, honest, doesn't cut any corners & won't waste your time with BS. Gives you pricing options to work with, shows you difference between cheap, affordable & premium items, is interactive with the customer & actively tries to help the individual understand the diagnosis of your vehicle & is very accommodating. During the inspection he made me aware of a very poorly worn passenger side upper control arm that had too much play in it & he was able to replace it same day within a couple hours & the vehicles been driving like a Pearl since then. Not to mention, he had a Kick-ass staff backing the shop up as well. All around great services provided at this location & I would highly recommend. Will be returning for future services for sure ! Last night, she called me frustrated and overwhelmed because three separate mechanics gave her 3 different diagnoses that ultimately caused her to fail inspection and require major work. Clearly those other mechanics were just trying to take advantage of a Senior Citizen. Not cool! Anyway, we brought the car and were seen very quickly. The "fixes" were light and ultimately my aunt paid $200 less than the other mechanics were trying to charge. My aunt plans to make this her auto repair home. Hopefully she won't need the services besides inspection but you never know - her car is getting old. Lol I never felt taken advantage of because I was a single female. They've always been fair (I've gotten quotes from others to compare and spoken to male friends and relatives) and I appreciate that. Life is busy enough - I don't have the time, desire or mental capacity to worry about being taken advantage of and finding an alternate solution. Anyway, definitely check this place out! LMAO it's a relatively clean shop for brooklyn, but -- as always -- filled with non-english-speaking staff and you have to hunt for the 'guy,' who seems to avoid you for some reason. how places like this actually get customers and continue to exist is beyond me. (note: i've had wheel bearings replaced maybe a dozen times in my life, and also supply my own parts, purchased online. this repair should cost about $200 tops)

Small jobs like oil change or spark plug /coil prob could be done same day as long as you drop off first thing in the morning. Mine was a bigger job control rods/ball joints and alignment. So it took 2 days. But I think this too could have been done in a day. Delivery of parts to shop delayed the work. I've done all major work at MINHS. The work is always top notch and they definitely remember their customers. And will always make things right if need be. My car is 2016 BMW X3 with 100k+ miles and runs very well 10 years later with maintenance from MINHS.
