That said, the staff was not as warm as it could have been, which seems to be a pattern at this mall. One moment stood out. A shopper left a single item in the fitting room while rushing because her mom was calling her to hurry. Instead of simply collecting it, an employee stopped her and questioned whether she was taking it, then made her go back. It felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable to watch. Aside from that, the store itself was great. It was clean, well staffed, and full of genuinely good finds. Overall, I would call it a four out of five experience. I would absolutely come back and shop here again, even though I am not usually an H&M person.

It was nice that the sale/clearance items were all grouped by size. I just forget what my Chico's size is! It's either 1, 2 or 3. I tried clothes on and asked if they could keep them at the counter while I continued to look, the girl working at the register didn't even make eye contact with me, she just said ok, with an upset face. Hmmm while I continued looking for clothing for an upcoming vacation, a gentleman that works there offered if he could put clothes in a dressing room for me, he was he only helpful person there. In the end I found lots of great clothes for my vacation however, I feel the need to write this review because the only reason I feel I was treated differently was because of the color of my skin. I find it weird because I'm Hispanic and it looked like everyone working there that was ignoring me is Hispanic too. Next time I will rethink going there. Perhaps some customer service training needs to be revisited.

Not only did the lovely sales lady notice my frustration, she took all the clothes out of my hands and got me a dressing room. She then told me to start trying on and she would look for the dress so I wouldn't end up having a stroke in the store. Smart girl. Fast forward 4 minutes later...VOILA! Dress in hand. Easy as pie. She was cute and talkative, but not creepy talkative, like trying to get me to buy stuff. Oh and the new 1969 jeans are in and they are TO DIE FOR! Fit like a glove... I left with my dress, two new pairs of jeans and a new found love for the Gap on Lovers Lane.
