Henry's Quality Electric when my solar inverter needed replacement. Even though they didn't perform that work themselves, they referred me to one of their installers and, in the process, saved me money by bypassing the markup they could have charged. That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. The team is nothing but helpful, and professional. They are community oriented and are always there to help when you have an electrical need. It's nice to have an Electrician that you can trust especially when it gets to be overwhelming not knowing what needs to be fixed. We heard about them from word of mouth, and those people are ABSOLUTELY correct. Thank you Bill and your team... and we will see you again soon!

When we needed to upgrade our panel recently to 200 amps I thought of Earthstar but I figured by now with inflation and Daniel's many years of experience, and working from Sonoma, they would be too expensive. Someone who was working on our house (when I started looking for electricians) knew of Earthstar and said their electricians were great and they also had this super nice and helpful front office guy, John, who made working with them a pleasure. So, now add that overhead to the pricing...I was sure they'd be too expensive for us (although probably worth it). But Earthstar had the lowest price of the highly-rated Yelp electricians we got bids from! We ended up with the rarest contractor experience: an "A" in professionalism, quality, and value. John was indeed such a pleasure to work with as was Taylor, who did the wiring. Taylor also has carpentry experience and not only did a fast and expert job on the panel, but also did a great job replacing the siding around the panel where the house angles out. I really appreciate that he paid attention to the things that concerned me and went above and beyond in those areas. I'm trying to think of another project so we can use them again.

Preface: This rating schema needs ten stars. ;^)…read more I contracted Daniel to assist me in ensuring a very dated, derelict, freewheeling small wind turbine in Berkeley, CA was safe to perform work. Daniel is a champ!! Understatement. If there were 10 stars in this rating schema, Daniel would own this! Daniel is INCREDIBLY accommodating, and REALLY enjoys his work. He was not only gracious, malleable and competent, but quite adept at thinking on his feet. This was MOST appreciated, because prior Lic C10s I had come through did not offer the same thoroughness, care and consideration. It was clear, in the past, once these historical electricians grasped the magnitude and complexity of what was involved with decommissioning this installation, they turned tail, 'attained escape velocity' and the homeowner did not see them again. Not Daniel. Daniel even went under the house into the crawl space to try to trace all the connections, too. Additionally, he went above and beyond the call of duty and was able to extricate the wind turbine brake cable which, unknown others had made unsuccessful attempts in the past. Wow-squared!! I can say with 100% confidence that the wires from the wind turbine are capped off, and the connection from the AC connection to the phaser/inverter is capped off. The installation is now safe to work on without being concerned about the flow of electrons from the wind turbine or from the PG&E electrical distribution network. This was a HUGE decommissioning milestone in this project!! Couldn't have done this without Daniel's help. Word on the street is, he also does work for Grid Alternatives. Can't have a better recommendation than that!
