He has helped me with multiple projects, and does a superior job, on time, confirms to all electrical codes, and I have complete confidence and peace of mind in his work. Projects: We re-wired my kitchen to change from a slide-in range to a built-in oven and cooktop. The first Electrician I hired to work on this (through Angi aka HomeAdvisor ) did a ridiculously horrible job which Michael had to fix. I would recommend to everyone to never under any circumstances hire an electrician via Angi, you might end up burning your house down. Second project: We installed a ceiling light in my son's room. Rather than ripping up a lot of walls in order to put the requisite wiring in place, we decided to use a wireless switch connected via my WiFi network. My son absolutely loves his new light fixture. When I asked he he wanted to switch it out for a ceiling fan, the answer was an emphatic No. I will be hiring him for a third time now to change out 2 more ceiling light fixtures. And, after that, I have 2 additional projects in the pipeline (involving adding interior outlets, for which more drywall work will be required, so those are on hold for now). This was the third time I've had Michael do a job for me. The first was to run a 240v connection to my backyard to power a sauna. The second was to install an EV charger. Today's project was to run a 240v plug into the garage to power a hybrid heat pump water heater. Once again, the installation was done in one day as promised. He installed a home surge protection, replaced and updated 60 plus switches, outlets and plugs, receptacle box installation and replacement, restoration of the main panel circuit breaker, installed a main grounding system, repaired and installed garage lights with junction boxes, replaced frayed furnace cord, new furnace, stove, washer and dryer outlets and more. Michael was excellent from start to finish. We swapped out some faulty dimmers, diagnosed an improperly wired 3-way switch, and added an extra wall receptacle. On another job we had him out to replace a RV power box and install a 20A shutoff switch and run conduit for a Heat Pump. Easy to consult and schedule with, flexible on solutions offered, and provided an agreeable warranty for all his work. Everything he touched was installed with precision and an eye for detail. On my previous review I was critical of Michael because of a lack of response. I have since learned that there was a problem with communication technology. Michael did respond and went out of his way to make a late evening visit to look at my project. Fixing my bandsaw requires a part not easily acquired. I had Micheal over for a safety inspection. He is really knowledgeable, he explains what his findings are, writes a detailed report and also talks about possible future issues to come up and provides estimates for those items. He also fixes little things he finds wrong that can be done while he is doing the inspection which is included in the inspection fee.
