I was worried it would be going on and off all night long, interrupting our sleep all night. Moeller Electric picked up the call on the first ring, and over the phone walked me through how to fix the alarm. It was very stressful, as the alarm was blaring in my ears while I was up on the ladder, but they stayed on the phone with me and walked me through it. They did not charge me for this. I am super thankful and grateful to them for helping me through a harrowing experience.

Also, Derek seemed like a very nice and knowledgeable guy. This review stems completely from the poor service. I initially contacted another electrician who is prominent on Yelp requesting a quote. After months of being given the run-around by them, we finally got an appointment set up at 3pm on a day in December. So 3pm rolls around and instead of the electrician showing up, I get a call from Derek at Moeller. He says he was they referred me to him. Not at all Derek's fault. I told him I had an appointment for pretty much right now and he hopped in his truck and came over. So I had a very good impression of him at this point. We discuss a number of things I wanted done and he lists a few options. Very helpful. Then he takes down my info, says he'll email me the quote and we part ways. Three weeks go by and I still haven't heard anything. Now I feel like I've been blown off by two electricians. Although that is pretty unprofessional, I don't want to find another electrician and go through the whole thing again. Plus, I liked Derek well enough when we spoke. So I call him back. He remembers me and apologizes for dropping the ball. We confirm my email address again as well as the details of the quote and he says he'll get it out to me soon. EDIT: When I originally wrote this review, it had been a long while and I thought Derek had ignored my second request. Recently, however, I have spoken with him and it turns out he had sent out a quote following my second request in January - but sent it to the wrong email address. I did go to pains to make sure the correct address was supplied in both of the above cases, but I do accept that this was an honest mistake. So my only legitimate complaint can be about not receiving the initial December quote in a timely fashion. I have increased my rating to reflect that. I am glad that many other people have found Moeller Electric's work to be great and I would have liked to find that out, myself.

They cancelled the visit to repair the roof. Repair and scheduling still pending. I also asked if I could schedule a visit on another, separate matter. The staff said no. The company is not scheduling appointments out with anyone at this time. *Edit 1: I heard from Ron Dorris Electric this morning. They scheduled a visit to repair the roof for 5/30/23. Repair pending. I began working with Ron Dorris Electric in mid-to-late 2022. At the beginning the work went well. In November 2022, I had Ron Dorris Electric install a new lateral drop from the road as well as a new solar-ready electrical box. In Spring 2023, this company's work began to fall apart. The mast connecting the lateral drop to my roof began to pull apart from the roof. Since noticing the issue, I contacted Ron Dorris Electric to alert them and request them to fix it. A roofer/electrician visited and informed me that Ron Dorris' installer should have applied supports to the mast given the height of the mast and the tension of the electrical drop wires. He stated the weight and tension of the electrical wires (without supports) caused the mast to pull of the roof. He said he would fix the problem that week, but when I returned from travel the problem still remained. I have called Ron Dorris and requested a timeline for completing the repair. I still do not have answer. Most calls, even if made around 9:00 a.m., go to an answering service. In the last month (three or four weeks) I have left three messages with the answering service but have not received a call back from those. My diligence helped me get through to someone last week, but I still do not have an update. Ron Dorris has an email address, but I haven't received a response to the two emails I submitted in the same period. All I want is to learn the timeline for correcting the poor workmanship. How long is it going to take to repair the roof and add supports? Will there be a cost to me if your staff complete work that should have been completed the first time? I can appreciate the company is busy, and I am thankful my electrical power still works. I have a hole if my roof, the rainy weather is continues, and I am merely looking for a timeline for completion.

Unfortunately, he never showed up and did not call or message me. I eventually had to contact him myself, only to find out that he had completely forgotten about the appointment. I had already explained that I work during normal business hours and that my availability is very limited. When I called him on Tuesday to discuss the situation, I tried to accommodate his schedule by offering to make myself available at 7:30 a.m. on any day, or even that evening, so that I could avoid taking another day off work. He told me that he could only work during his normal business hours, and the next available appointment he offered was the following Thursday. I understand that he has normal business hours, and I was not expecting him to completely change his schedule. However, after forgetting an appointment that I had specifically taken a half day off work for, I was disappointed that there was not more effort to address the inconvenience caused by the missed appointment. I also told him directly during our phone call that I felt the handling of the situation was very unprofessional. I don't normally go out of my way to leave negative reviews, but I believe customers should be able to provide honest feedback about their experiences. After I posted the review, he contacted me, apologized, and offered to complete the installation for free if I would take down the review. I appreciate the apology and the offer to make things right. However, during his response to my review, he also said that it showed "what type of person" I am. I found that comment to be very personal and unnecessary, especially since I had already contacted him directly and explained how I felt about the situation. Because of that, I do not feel comfortable taking down the review. I am sharing my honest experience as a customer, including both the original situation and his later attempt to resolve it.

I had a rental unit in windsor with an elderly couple with life line and oxygen that woke up with…read moreno power! Called Darrell at Pioneer Electric and he had someone out there in 2 hours! They restored some power and had to return the next day due to getting late. Things weren't looking very good and were going to snowball into a bigger nightmare with power being out for a week! There was a break somewhere in the 200' run! Which meant replacing the whole supply run! The next day Darrell saved the day and found the break in the line which someone had buried 6" in the dirt with no protective covering after they had cut threw it and taped it together! To top it all off they troubleshoot and fixed it all in the pouring rain and mud! I highly recommend Pioneer Electric knowing the trades all too well the hardest thing to do is finding honest reliable qualified and good at what they do People! Ohhh did I mention his work was done with more then a reasonable price tag!
