Tomberlin helped me to build and install a built in bookshelf/desk. They did a wonderful job and they were super professional. Cleaned everything up after, and did quality work. I will definitely be using them again for flooring and other remodeling within my home. Highly recommend! read more

Chad from Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling is what makes the business five stars he takes a personal interest in making sure you are getting what you pay for and will go the extra mile to make it happen. After calling around I pretty much came to the conclusion that no matter what I tell myself you get what you pay for . I had various prices from ridiculously high to suspiciously low and torn between saving money and still getting someone who wouldn't ruin my investment. That's when I found Chad from Tomberlin, he was competitively priced had tons of proof of great work online and was ready to help me out even though he was busy with bigger projects . Chad is a genuine person from the moment he came over after we spoke I knew this was going to end well . He knows what he is doing and isn't afraid to dive rite in and do work himself if his employees are busy on other job sites . Chad even allowed me to pick my own tile and didn't pressure me to specifically buy from him like some other companies do . He met me at Lowe's where I found my tile for a lower price than it usually was and explained what materials I would need never trying to upsell anything at any point . When I got my backsplash installed the process was rather smooth, Chad and his employees made sure to keep the space clean which goes a long way with me . Everyone he brought over was extremely respectful and always wore a mask no matter how long the work took . The project did take a couple days to fully complete but was worthwhile and I would do it all over again because Chad is such a pleasant person to do business with . There was a small gap and empty spot in my paint from a previous company that installed my countertops Chad fixed it rite up along with the backsplash install just because he didn't like the way it would look in the end even though he didn't have to . Chad goes the extra mile for sure . He cares about the actual end results and frequently checks in on his crew. Many of my previous experiences with lessor companies gave me a bad taste so to speak as they only cared about getting payed and never made sure their crew actually did what they where supposed to . So when I experienced how Tomberlin does work it brought some trust back to my home improvement experience . I highly recommend Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling to the utmost degree of satisfaction for your home improvement needs . They will be my go to from now on . (One quick note, always have patience with anyone you hire they are people with feelings and deserve your respect . Never order anyone around but ask politely for anything you might need to change or want , YES even in your one home . You will always feel better and get better results no matter who you pick to do your work . Thank you .) read more

Chad has done a couple jobs for us now, both a bathroom remodel and a painting job, and we're super happy with both. He's been easy to work with, understood quickly our vision for each project, and personally ensured each was completed down to the finer details, checking in with us along the way. Both projects were also very competitively priced, so I'd highly recommend him! read more

We hired Chad back in late 2018 to oversee and complete a partial bathroom remodel and bonus room conversion. The process was fairly straightforward, and as with most generally contracted jobs, it took a bit longer than expected (which in the grand scheme of things is not a huge deal). The finish outs and quality of craftsmanship appeared to be high quality when the job was completed. Fast forward to 2022 and we notice that the shower was starting to slowly leak into the garage. When Chad sold us on the job, he added lifetime warranty language to the waterproofing of the shower, so naturally, we attempted to call and email Chad to inquire about how we could exercise the warranty option and get the shower repaired. No answer. No returned emails, zero contact. We even reached out directly to the sub-contractor Tex Tar Waterproofing, Inc. with the same result. This was particularly frustrating because the remodel was only three years old. Frustrated but not surprised, we sought out a different contractor to come in and fix the broken shower. Unfortunately for Chad's reputation, this revealed additional problems that were not visible on the surface. No water liner had been installed in the shower pan, presumably because the Tex Tar work would have made sure it was waterproof in the event of a pan crack (it didn't). The full drain system we had been sold wasn't fully installed and pieces were missing that might have helped to prevent the leak. The original crews used nails to affix HardieBacker to the pony wall that was added, where screws should have been used for stability and longevity. My point here is that corners were cut where they shouldn't have been, and instead of honoring the language in the original agreement, we got ghosted by both general contractor and sub-contractor. Not a good look. I can't recommend Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling for anything bathroom related. In all fairness, I'd give them 4/5 stars for the drywall and door installation they did. I am still ready and willing to engage in a conversation about this review and the work that was originally done with Chad. read more

We used Tomberlin Painting in Sept. 2020. The initial job looked great, but only three years later we have damage to the siding around our chimney as well as caulk that doesn't even seem to exist. The seams in the siding have gaps and appears that that caulk has either shrunk or completely dried. When the initial job was being done, my husband noticed that they didn't caulk around the chimney and called Chad to have the guy who does the caulking come back. Now there's water damage and we wonder if they ever really did it or if the caulk used on the entire house was bad. My husband noticed the siding after cleaning out our gutters. He's called Chad twice. The first time, Chad said he was on his family vacation and he'd get back with my husband as soon as he got home. After waiting a bit, my husband contacted him again and then got a response that he was in the middle of a large job and to hold tight and he'll definitely follow-up. Well, here we are a couple of months later and nothing. I read another reviewer (Brittney C.) saying she got ghosted and that's exactly how we feel. read more

Chad helped us begin phase 1 of our kitchen remodel (new backsplash, islandreconstruction, countertops). From the very first consultation we knew we were in great hands! Chad and his partners were knowledgeable and professional. Chad's communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Even though he had other jobs going on, we always felt like a priority. If you are thinking about any painting, remodeling or other work, do yourself a favor and call Chad. You won't be disappointed! read more

When you are doing a major remodel, there is really only one question that needs to be answered. Did I pick the right contractor? When it comes right down to it, that determines how the job goes. How issues will be responded to. The quality of work that will be done. Happily we can answer that question, yes! We knew immediately after meeting with Chad, we were going to go with him. Chad Tomberlin is the reason that our bathroom remodel went as well as it did. He was very communicative and responsive. He was always there to answer any questions and address any concerns. Chad is very thoughtful about his work. He jumped on any issues that came up dealt with them professionally and gracefully. He is very easy to work with. His sub-contractors are also high quality and do great work. He was always willing to offer advice or direction on any and all decisions that needed to be made as far as design. We had a difficult bathroom space to work with and Chad was very instrumental on making it all work. We love our new bathroom and are completely and thoroughly thrilled with the results! We are truly thankful for the excellent job that he did and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do a remodel. read more

Chad really went above and beyond on our shower enclosure. We got some really outrageous quotes but Chad's was really reasonable. The tile work was fantastic and Chad went out of his way to help us replace dated shower hardware. The completion was timely, the cost was fair, and the work was well done. I recommended him to several others and plan to have him out to my new house to help with a kitchen project. Definitely recommend contacting Chad for any renovation. read more

Hired Chad for a flooring job in a home I just purchased, and he and his crew were great! We had some bumps (delayed materials shipment, etc.), but Chad made sure everything was finished in time for us to move into our new house. Really excellent customer service; he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the project--which showed a lot of integrity. I will definitely use him again for future projects. read more

Chad Tomberlin and his crew did a fantastic job painting our new home. We had a few quotes from other painters but Chad was not only the best choice for our budget, he also did a job that rivaled any of the more expensive ones for sure. The biggest reason we went with Chad is we had an extremely short amount of time to get this painting done prior to us moving in. He and his crew were able to come in a couple days later and knockout the whole interior of the house in just 3 days. Accent walls and ceilings too. It's not just painting he does too. Seeing that he also remodels homes, I'll be sure to give these guys a call for future work we may do around the house. I highly recommend these guys and truly do believe you won't be disappointed. read more

Called Chad and quickly received a visit from him and received his bid shortly thereafter. A couple of weeks later selected them to do the painting of the outside of the house with some demo and some repairs. Job was then quickly scheduled. Power wash crew that came out was quick and thorough. Louie and the painting crew came out and knocked the job out in three days and made the house look fabulous. They were very courteous and went above and beyond and more than met our expectations. They did a fantastic job and I just can't relay how pleased I am with the job they did on my house. Highly recommend them - they colored our world - get them to color yours - you won't be disappointed! read more

Chad came in with a great bid and he and his lovely crew did a beautiful job with our three-bedroom bungalow. We added our tiny home at the last minute and they took care of it perfectly with no fuss at all. Chad is a lovely guy and we would not hesitate to use his services again. Thanks Chad! read more

Chad is a pleasure to deal with. I had water damage to an upstairs bathroom and downstairs dining room that needed repairing. Chad and his crew were able to do it all. Drywall, molding, painting and putting speakers back in the ceiling. Chad and his crew were experienced and easy to work with. Plus, his pricing was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend using them. read more

I cannot recommend Tomberlin Painting enough as some of the best I've ever dealt with. The thing that really struck me the most is how meticulous and detail-oriented his whole team was, and how much care and effort they took in painting my home. And while they showed incredible attention to detail, they were also very fast in their work - not rushed but fast! The crew operated as a team and worked very well together, they cleaned everything up every day and were very mindful of my family and me, and they communicated what they were working on very well so I felt informed about the process. Again, I absolutely recommend them! Thank you Chad! read more

This is delayed, but earlier in the summer Chad and his crew refinished our kitchen cabinets. They brought us into 2016 with a great gray paint from old and dates oak. The crew was so friendly and prompt- very precise in setting up our big open kitchen for paint to go only where it was meant to. They finished in 3 days and then came back after the cabinets were really dry to install new hardware. Great service and highly recommend! read more

Chad Tomberlin and his crew did a fantastic job rebuilding my chimney, painting our house and poring a new concrete back patio. I received a quote within a couple of days (exactly when Chad said it would arrive) and found that both Chad and his crew were on time, did the work quickly and well. I also found it very easy to work with Chad Tomberlin throughout the project even as things had to change for various reasons, Chad listed to what I wanted and made it happen seamlessly. After working with several other contractors, I think I've finally found a contractor who is honest and lives up to expectations. I would highly recommend using Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling for both indoor or outdoor projects and I plan to do so with my next remodeling project. read more

I'm very happy with all aspects of the siding repair, carpentry work, and painting Tomberline did. The communication was great, the price was fair, and the quality of work was really really good. His crew was fast, clean, and nice, so I had no concerns about them in my house. They even took the time to explain the work, types of paint, and maintenance to my wife. And they were really careful with our small dogs, the backyard, and keeping the gate closed. I'm not kidding, my house looks really good. The transformation was incredible. I'd highly recommend including Tomberlin when requesting quotes for your project. read more

Chad and team were incredible. We bought a newish house that had some dark brown paint and travertine tile. We wanted to brighten it up with some new paint and floors. Tomberlin brought it all the contractors, gave us great ideas for quartz counters and floors, and got the whole 5000 sq ft project done in 2 weeks. It was unbelievably quick. Chad is very easy to talk to, patient, and creative. We love our new home, and we won't hesitate to recommend this group to friends. We are very thankful our friends recommended him to us! read more

We are happy with the exterior paint job on our home; the project was very reasonably priced for the quality of work. Chad's crew did a thorough job and didn't leave behind any mess. It was a pleasure to work with Chad and crew. When I called Chad I told him I needed a 4000 SQ house painted ASAP. The job also included painting cabinets and a railing, ceilings, doors and all trim. I plan to have him paint my exterior very soon. Highly recommend. Joe read more

I recently had major drywall repair with wall texture done by Tomberlin Painting & Remodeling. The quality was exceptional. I was really concerned about the outcome of this project as I had 2 other rooms textured by 2 different people with poor results...so 3 was the charm for me with Chad's crew. We had a small-med orange peel texture with knockdown and they knocked it out of the park ! I was so amazed at how great it looked without paint, but now the quality of the work can be further appreciated with paint. Communication and clean-up was a very positive experience as well. I will definitely call them back for future projects. Thank you Tomberlin! read more

Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling were great! All aspects of the job were done in a professional and timely manner. I got a detailed bid for exterior cleaning, chalking, wood replacement, and painting. VERY REASONABLE ESTIMATE. Chad and Andrew (the crew) showed up on time and did a great job. They cleaned up everyday and did a detailed walk around inspection with me at the end of the job to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I'm very happy with the final outcome and would definitely recommend Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling to anyone looking for a painting contractor. read more

Chad completely overhauled our 2000 square foot home. I can't say enough good things about Chad and his crew. We hired him to do some minor remodeling in order to sell our house, but after getting started he made the house look so amazing we decided to stay...and have him totally remodel the house. He had no trouble adding new projects on mid-remodel and he made the house look new. My husband, who is a complete perfectionist, was totally happy with the end product. His prices are very fare, he is flexible and he is a nice guy, so you actually feel good about giving him money! We plan on hiring him again to do the outside of the house. read more

Chad & his team are AWESOME!! They painted all the "open" areas in our house (dining room, kitchen, living, room, all hallways, upstairs play room) and did a fantastic job. We were out of town while the painting took place. When we returned every piece of furniture was back in place and every item was hung back up on the walls. I couldn't have asked for an easier or more pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I found their prices very reasonable. I spoke to Chad the owner this morning just to get a bid going on two new construction spec homes. I have not seen him personally but he has arranged to meet me first thing next week after Memorial Day. He said that he can gather his crew to paint in 1 1/2 weeks. This is when we need him after the sheetrock/drywall is put in. He sounded direct and honest. I am giving him 5 stars basing upon my "interview" with him for the bid.
