Food at the snack bar is pretty darn decent for bowling alley food, and they even have some healthier options like salads. Bar service is available as well, however their beer selection is a tad lacking...pretty much Bud and Miller varieties. Staff here is friendly and attentive. Other than leagues, they have open bowl during the day and on the weekends including a "rock n bowl" late weekend nights...perfect with their new Bose sound system.

Good option for bowling in the Woodlands…read more The facility is clean, modern with plenty of bowling lanes and an arcade. There are deals for all day bowling or arcade for cheap on particular days. The workers were nice and checked on us regularly ensuring we got our food, water and drinks taken care of. We ordered a huge fishbowl for our drink and heads up: it's not strong at all, so we also ordered extra shots on the side to add. Keep in mind that the fish bowl is fairly large - there were 5 of us working on it and it lasted. Food is also availble: your typical wings, fries, nachos, burgers, pizza, etc. The Sampler was good for out party to snack on as we bowled. It came with wings, tenders, soft pretzels, fries, and mozerella sticks. I enjoyed the platter except for the fact that I dipped a huge piece of pretzel into what I thought was cheese sauce, only for it to be honey mustard. I guffawed incredulously as this took me by surpise. This was 100% user errror; just thought it was funny and that it'd be good to share for educational purposes. (Don't be like me lol.) We had no issues with the bowling lane. Every lane already came stocked with a variety of bowling balls of different sizes and weights. The system worked seamlessly. No glitches, it worked relatively fast, none of our balls got stuck, etc. One thing to note is that the bowling balls seem well-used. Many of them are chipped and have a slightly greasy feel, but I mean at the end of the day, they still get the job done.

The Houston location of Pinstripes has been long gone, but the void it left is still felt. The…read moreconcept was a compelling one: an event space and family destination built around bowling, anchored by an all-you-can-eat weekend brunch. Simple in theory, brilliant in execution, and one that no other venue has successfully replicated since. The space was gorgeous. The ample dining space, dedicated private rooms, and gourmet bowling alleys across the place was a sight to behold. This experience cost a pretty penny, which is partially what doomed them in the first place. As a brunch destination, it was a hot mess, largely due to their staff which had a hard time to keep up with the demand. The waits without reservations were brutal and even ones that arrived with reservations would still have to wait if the seating arrangements weren't done properly. The food itself was solid, featuring premium items like prime rib and mean herb roasted chicken, along with smoked salmon, shrimp cocktails, and even a dessert fondue. Throw in a few pasta + pasta dishes for the kids, along with an omelette station. At $35, this was a good value. The bowling experience was always their best asset. Lane reservations were a cinch, and the bowling balls were always quality. The area was well maintained and had a decent amount of seating for groups. Shoes and socks were always included in the $20 per person/per hour deal, which for River Oaks standards is on par price wise. While they live on in other cities, I do think Pinstripes was onto something in Houston. While it may not have fully materialized into what they envisioned, it did lay enough ground work to see the possibility was there. Here's hoping they find another home in H-Town in the near future.

Nice place to bowl... food is mmmmeyah (so so)!…read more Location: Pinstripes is located in upper Kirby near the color factory. Great thing is that they have a parking garage and Pinstripes validates parking... wooohooo! You just have to ask! Ambiance: This place is cute and happening! There is a large party room, but only one area to bowl. Food: The food was not the best. However, I did hear that they had a good brunch! I can't vouch for it and will say that I probably Never will. The experience I had with their food was more than enough. The parmesan fries were good. Service: The bowling area was packed, so service was also so so! A little slow for our liking! I may return, but not for the food... for the comradery!

We drove almost an hour the first time, so instead of driving home another hour, we went and ate, and came back at 3:10pm. The doors were locked when we got there, so we called the number to the business, and a young man answered the phone. We asked him if they were open, and he got a smart attitude and said that it says 3:00pm on the door in the most disgusting and disrespectful way you could talk to somebody. The way he talked to me, I will never go up there and give them a dirty red cent of my money. They need to update their website and put the new times up there for the next victims that are dumb enough to give them their money. They need to fire whoever is answering the phone, and get schooled on hospitality and manners. They lost a customer for life! This is why people from Brenham won't support local businesses, because they are pompous a$$oles!!! Brenham standup, and boycott these scumbags!!!! Hopefully they will go out of business, and a new owner will take over! Until then, I will make the trip to Houston and spend my money somewhere cheaper, and more hospitable. I tried to support local, but they changed my mind in an instant! Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful behavior! If I could give zero stars, I would!

Old school lanes and software - need to manually pick up bumpers, can't edit names once entered, if you left it blank it stays blank. Can't have some players use bumpers and others don't since it's manually picked up. Balls are extremely greasy. Lanes are as well since I fell twice then decided to change shoes.
