Everything. We wanted an old school bowling alley and a family environment. We've had this here before but this go around was terrible. We rented 2 lanes. One for adults. One for our kids. And our kids were being just that... kids. And management told us that our kids were "hoodlums" and out of control. And refused to serve us any drinks or food of any kind. We demanded refunds. And did get that. But we will never go back again. Any children's environment where kids can't be kids and have fun is not a place for families. read more

There were machines down that ate some of our kids point. The dinosaur VR headset was loose so we had to hold it to our kids heads. I had to miss out on seeing the reactions. The customer service was subpar. The lady working the food booth was amazing and so were the people out in the front. The person in the area where you redeem tickets was not. I asked her to split the credits 100 to one card and she just split the tokens. So instead of enjoying the time with the kids we had to keep count who had x amount of token's and who had x amount of points. IMO very pricey BUT very fun. After several interactions, this place is... meh. The owner is about as warm as a lifeless Eskimo. I can't remember her name... She looks like a Karen. Most of the games don't work but they're great if you just enjoy putting money into machines. We had a large hair in our french fries and the teen delivering our daughters food somehow managed to smash it into his crotch. It was a large pretzel with sugar, half of which was now hugging his crotch. That's it, right? Roll the credits... Nope! It's an older location but they have updated the place some. If you go on Tuesdays it is $3.00 for shoes and per game. We went around 11:30 and it was already pretty busy. Very kid friendly and they have a bar for 21 and up. Fun place to go on a rainy day or just to have some fun! read more

Despite being here dozens of times, this might have been our last time at this establishment. On Mondays we join the homeschool bowling group. Today, I brought my 1 year old son along as dad wasn't home to stay with him. The senior league was still finishing up on some of the lanes we play on. While we waited on one of our lanes which was about 3-4 lanes away from the seniors finishing up, my one year old was throwing a fit and just not having a good day. The lady behind the counter told me I needed to do something with my son because "they're still bowling...for money..." with the RUDEST glare. Listen here, unless these senior bowlers were promised a bowling experience that was free from children or noise or EVERYDAY THINGS, this is extremely uncalled for. It's a public freaking bowling alley and nothing stating otherwise was posted on the door of the establishment. Wish I could give a negative review. Started here with a great experience. Went for a drink and was cut off for being accused of ordering shots. Did not order shots asked for a review of our ticket and nothing was honored. Was not served after acquisition. Do not come here expecting a good time. Went here last night with a group of 10 -- 2 of which were children and another 2 were babies. The guy working the desk (I apologize for not getting your name) was able to get us 2 lanes quickly by asking another party to switch lanes. I was really impressed by how helpful and accommodating he was. With him getting us in so quickly we were able to get at least one game in before the babies got too cranky. I went here with some friends and it was an average experience. The prices aren't bad and the customer service isn't bad either. The shoes are obviously cheaply made though and I heard many people talking about how uncomfortable they are. Also many of the arcade games are broken, or out of service. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, the young man who accommodated my birthday party for my daughter did absolutely amazing. The kitchen was great as well. Having just moved to Cypress/Tomball we've passed by this Bowling Alley and my family of 5 decided to try out and go bowling! Wow Employees were Nice and Helpful. No crazy Ratchet people here like the inner city! We had Fun and even other people bowling were nice and smiled and made small talk with us. My kids had a blast and we definitely will return! Great bowling alley!! We bowl league there on Thursdays and the house is generally pretty clean. They installed new lanes last year so the surface is awesome! Food at the snack bar is pretty darn decent for bowling alley food, and they even have some healthier options like salads. Bar service is available as well, however their beer selection is a tad lacking...pretty much Bud and Miller varieties. Staff here is friendly and attentive. This is a great place to come and have a good time! The workers here are very helpful and nice. I've been coming here almost every week now for the past several months and have say it is fun every time. They have a huge arcade area for the kids as well as a lounge and pool tables for the adults. This is an amazing place to bring the family and bowl. My two complaints that are keeping it from five stars is the food service and the outdated furniture. When it is even remotely busy the food service can be really lacking and slow. Also, they turn the jukebox volume down for all rock music but blast it at full volume for country, to the point that you can't have a conversation across the table. If I could give this places zero stars I would! I came here for my 22nd birthday. The interaction was horrible and had a weird smell. Besides the point the workers who give you the shoes were so rude. Not just that but the way they treated us was very disrespectful, my moms boyfriend is African American and we felt the unfriendliness coming from both the workers and the players. We were next to these people on the other lane and they talked under their breath about my moms boyfriend and were just being straight racist. It was definitely seen by the workers but did nothing about it. Even when I went up to the counter the worker did not look me in the eyes and avoided me at all possible which was kinda weird. I've never went to someplace that was so disrespectful and racist. I was raised in Texas and know not to treat people like this. I'm from California and even we don't treat people like they treated us! If you have seizures or epilepsy I would not recommend this place because they turn the lights off and put in disco blinking lights and even when I asked if we could get a refund because I could have a full on epileptic seizures because of the blinking lights they were rude. I love this place! It's one of the cleanest bowling alleys I have ever been too! The drinks are cheap and the bar allows smoking. It's an enclosed bar so if you're not okay with indoor smoking it doesn't permeate the entire alley. My only suggestions would be to staff better during the weekends for bar help and to make sure little kids are being supervised. I had the best experience I've ever had with Kelly in the Pro Shop! She was so knowledgeable and patient while helping me pick a ball that matched my style of bowling! I haven't bowled in leagues in a few years so I needed a whole new arsenal and she helped me every step of the way! Used to come here all the time and never will after last night bartender was absolutely disrespectful and did not care for customers and would only let me have 6 beers but my wife was able to drink and said "it is TABC policy" witch is a lie because I am a bartender and the manager on duty was flat out rude as hell didn't care what we had to say tried to call and let him know how I felt about the place and he just hung up. Went here for a birthday party on 1/25 and when I asked for shoes for my kids they were telling me the party wasn't on the list even though the party leader checked in. Once they finally understood after I asked three times for shoes, the blond hair guy behind the counter threw the shoes down on the counter in front on me and walked away. I've been going here on a regular basis for several months so it's time for a review. Compared to other bowling alleys, this one is above average. First, the people working the counter and beverage area are very friendly. The lanes are in good shape and they have two pool tables for $1 a game. The bar (21+ only) is well maintained and also includes another pool table for tournaments one night a week. They have lots of leagues. Open bowling is best on Friday's. The price wasn't bad. We paid $9.50 per person for 2 hours of bowling. We went for the neon bowl from 9?-midnight unlimited bowling and when we started to bowl noticed none of the balls were returning to us so spoke to the staff about it and they told us the return belt was broke on both lanes we were bowling on and they would move us. However had the same problems with the other 2 lanes they had moved us to. Supposedly we were supposed to wait on the mechanic to fix it. The Tomball Bowling Center just opened up again after new owners took over and did quite a bit of work. The good part, they focused on the bowling lanes. I thought the lanes were great. Way better than the old ones. Very consistent action. Also note the nasty stench of cigarette smoke is not there. They constrain smoking to the bar area now it seems. The bad part, everything else. They still have a long way to go to revitalize the place. The seating is bad, the food is atrocious (and we tried a lot of it), and there isn't a game room or any other nice amenities yet. If you are looking for a place to bowl, then I would have no problem recommending this place. If you are looking for more than that, well, it just isn't there yet. Very clean family atmosphere. This is one of the nicer, non gimmicky old school bowling alleys around Houston. Their prices are a little high but they offer a 10 off coupon on their website. The food is priced very well. They have a full pro shop and a little quiet room for mothers with newborns. They most definitely encourage family fun here. The arcade is up to snuff. No vaping though.
