    Steamed Mussels

We ordered mussels for my appetizer...I love mussels but these looked so bad I couldn't take a bite. They were also $15.. Idk how they have 4.2 stars on Google. You don't put cheese on seafood. My girlfriend wanted coke 0 and they don't have it they have summit cola instead. This was red flag #1. I didn't take a bite. We had to just get the check and go. We left and went to Aladdin's and it was great

    Linguini Puttanesca

Small restaurant in Hudson that features Italian food. The place is comfortable and reasonably quiet. A good crowd on a Thursday night was nice to see. I ordered the linguine puttanesca. A delicious and flavorful take on the pantry dish that you don't see often on menus. I love it and this was an enjoyable meal. Friends had the daily special: shrimp and lobster stir fry which they both enjoyed. No drinks or desserts this night. Service was excellent and all servers were hustling. I'd definitely return.

Someone call the police. I was robbed. Charging for the food we were served is criminal. I DID learn some Italian while I was there. Apparently "Gourmet Pizza" is Italian for dog food. Literally the worst pizza dough I've ever seen in an Italian restaurant. It's not even dough....pre-made. Embarrassing. I don't even think a grocery store sells pre-made dough as bad as this. Terrible. Took 1 bite of an entire pizza and left it there. Disgusting. I felt bad for the poor server who has to see unhappy faces all day long and risk tips on what comes out of that place. Pasta and sauce...crazy bland. Small portion. Only item worth eating again....an arugula salad thrown on a plate with balsamic dressing. Well done Tomato Grill. Ya' killed it. Drinks: mixed drink w/ vodka? Awful. My beer? It was good. If you want something more than a salad and a beer....go literally anywhere else.

    Greens salad. Half size! Delicious

One, green chunks of cucumber or broccoli got into my macaroni and it gagged me until I realized what was happening. 2, My brisket was served cold and really not that tender. Thirdly, we waited a way too long for this food. I complained that night about my slow service, cold brisket, and green chunks of something in my macaroni. The hostess' response was, "we don't have a manager." A woman did show up, I calmly and politely introduced myself but she did not give me her name. I told her what was happening and she had a *deer in the headlights look the whole time.* She offered to replace my meal. I said "no, I ate it, but maybe you could do something for me." 20 minutes later she comped me half the price of my meal since I did eat it. But then my wife got sick all the next day, a horrible case of upset stomach. She had the ribs, succotash, and potatoes. So I filled out their website feedback form twice but they blew me off for almost 3 weeks. That's why I'm putting this out here on Yelp now.

Visiting from out of town, I had to trust my sister and order a few taco specials. Delicious flavors and huge portions! The flavors they used were aggressive, heavily seasoned, and memorable. One taco impressed me because it superimposed a toasted tortilla inside the taco, stealing crunchwrap vibes. Gave it great texture! They have a pencil-and-paper, sushi restaurant type ordering system which felt a bit overwhelming and like homework, so I'd recommend just checking off a few tacos from the specials list and calling it a day. The service was pretty good, but either from inexperience or perhaps sneaky intentions, they doubled the number of tacos we ordered on the bill. They went back to correct the error, so I guess watch what they're charging you.

Had anyone else experienced this at brubakers?…read more We usually have a really great time at this local bar. You know- birthdays, day before thanksgiving, just to watch football. Well, tonight we decided to take my dad to dinner, and go to Brubakers to have a drink and watch football. Well, before we even finished our beer, a fight broke out. Us, a table of 6, just sat in the corner not saying anything... Then, the bartender's husband started screaming vulgarly across the bar to our table. The classic instigation tactic. After the bartender told them to leave, they came back in multiple times saying they " just wanted to use the bathroom" (which was right by our table.) instead of mediating, the bartender told us we had to leave as well for "instigating." Yet, her husband was waiting outside for us, and pacing back and forth in front of the door. Then, she said," The owner said if your family has lived here for 22 years, and we dont know who you are, then your family needs to leave .." In fear, we call our husbands to come escort us out,as well as the Hudson Police. And you guessed it, as soon as we walked to our car, the husband was charging us- and the bartender was trying to stop him- and he continued to shove her in order to get us. We spoke to the second bartender, a young woman, who said this happens every week... Thank goodness, Hudson police department showed up right in time.

Easily equal to Chagrin Falls, Chardon Square or any other in northeast Ohio. We arrived and parked along the main street, strolled down the block to the front door. Upon entering you desend the stairway to your left. At the bottom you pass through a glass door into a very nicely appointed dining room (see attached picture). This is a "below the sidewalk" establishment and gives off a smokey, speakeasy type vibe... very classy. As you enter you will discover the hostess is at the far end of the room where the entrance from the rear parking lot is. Evidently that is where the majority of customers enter. I prefer the front... no matter. She saw us right away and immediately walked over and greeted our party. We were quickly seated at our table for the evening. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu. The regular and evening specials menus are more than satisfactory to make any pallet happy. We began with "Deviled Eggs" topped with Caviar, need I say, they were marvelous. Also, the "Oysters Rockefeller" were excellent. The choice of entree's are very nice. My wife chose "Chilean Seabass" Spice Rubbed Carrot/Ginger Puree Haricot Verts Almond/Yuzu Chimichurri. I went with my absolute favorite, "Lamb Chops" Herb Crusted Dijon Crispy Gnocchi Green Peppercorn Jus. So did my brother. And his wife ordered the "Sea Scallops" Roasted Beets Humboldt Fog Pistachios Orange/Saffron Butter. Everything was exceptional as always. KUDOS to the entire kitchen staff.
