Well I went in looking for a very specific item, the sales guy kept saying well we don't have that but we have this other style & other colors and accessories to match. Meh. Honestly, at the price point of these luxury items don't try to sell me on something different than what I want! I get it, you probably make commission. Why not just help me find what I already know I want and willing to pay for it?! Also don't follow me around the store like I need a chaperone. It turns customers off real quick. I went into this location to try on the new Vanilla S*x Perfume. This AMAZING new perfume really sticks true to its name. I get so many compliments when I wear this or his other perfume or colognes in his collection. The service I got from this boutique was beyond exceptional. I was at first hesitant to shop for a tuxedo here because it's so expensive but I'm so happy I did. I love how the lapel isn't so shiny and the best part is the personal touch you get in the fitting process. I had about 5 fittings after purchase and they were so detailed, careful, and hard working in addition to being very good at what they do. The material is noticeably terrific for moving around. There's a reason James Bond wears this! The tailor was even kind enough to adjust shirts that I purchased elsewhere (3 of them!) and make one final adjustment at 530pm before she left for vacation at 6pm. I stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. The store has a luxurious vibe to it! I liked the layout: it wasn't too cluttered and was tasteful. The furniture is comfortable too in case you end up sitting and waiting on someone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There weren't too many people in the store, so it was easy for them to focus on the few of us there. I was really impressed with the customer service here. They helped my friend a lot with their purchase and were very professional and precise with the measurements they took for tailoring. I'll be back when I need something from Tom Ford :) read more

Bought these beautiful Sandals few years ago, had to exchange them after a month for a new pair because the hardware was tarnishing. Wore the Sandals twice ever since I got them, been sitting in the dust bag and box they came in for couple of years. Opened the box so I could wear them and noticed the hardware on the sandals was tarnished AGAIN! Called the store TWICE, and both times the manager said she'll call me back and no one ever called me back. I have a $90 Jessica Simpson's Sandals with gold hardware and it still looks brand new, but my $1495 Tom Ford Sandals look like this. Very disappointing read more

Dear Mr. Ford, If I spend around $400 on a pair of sunglasses, I expect to get a durable case to protect the glasses. Instead, I got a squishy velvet case that's falling apart. I normally am not active on Yelp writing any reviews but I just wanted to commend this store for its' excellent service I received this morning. I am in California and placed a phone order with Chris (with the assistance of Michelle) for a sold out/limited edition lipstick. They were able to locate one for me and shipped it out within the hour. I just received a text message from FedEx that the package has been picked up and is on the way to me. With the holidays being just around the corner and for an item with surged popularity, I feel extremely lucky and thankful for the amazing effort and extra steps their store took to make sure the order could be fulfilled. I went on an impromptu Oak St. shopping spree this weekend (sorry, bank account) and purchased some higher-end items that I've been eying online forever. Stop 1: Tom Ford. I've learned that the key to receiving good service in these luxury stores is by acting confident. If you act like you belong in there, you will be treated as such. Gawking at the outrageously expensive items and giggling about it with your friends is not going to attract the right kind of attention. Rant over. I knew I wanted to try on a specific pair of sunglasses, and saw online (great website btw) that they were available at the Oak St. location. I was quickly introduced to Timafei and we headed to the sunglasses counter. The sunglasses are probably the least expensive items in that store, so I was ready to receive basic customer service. I was so wrong. After placing my bags down and receiving an ice cold glass of water (on a silver tray), Timafei and I began the selection process. Timafei did not rush me at all, and went out of his way to ensure I tried on as many pairs of sunglasses as I desired. I ended up purchasing a pair that I never would have tried on if I was on my own, but they're phenomenal. I left with my sunglasses and some fragrance samples, and I really look forward to trying them out. I'm going to need to save up for a few months to afford the steep $225 price tag if I want to buy my own bottle though. Christmas is coming up, isn't it?? This is certainly a special occasion store, but if you're going to treat yourself, do it here. read more

I went here with a friend of mine to find something that only the Chicago store carried (as it said only at least).. everyone was very nice and the items available for purchase we're absolutely stunning. The reason I'm giving 1 star is for the "pros" of this location. The reason why I have had to minus 4 stars is for what I witnessed a fellow employee and now he was being treated. This middle aged, receding hairline, balding asshole humiliated a fellow employee in front of us. The scolded employee was a younger Hispanic gentleman who became flushed after taking the deplorable reprimanding. In my opinion he was NOT at fault. And even if he was, you ask the person to follow you to a place customers don't hear you. I have never been more disgusted in my life. I wanted to physically slap the smug attitude off of that bald asshole. I will be making a formal complaint to the Tom Ford company. This is not a way to treat other human-beings. Especially not in front of customers who'd be uncomfortable. read more

I made a Yelp account just to talk about my experience here. The interior of the store is great and you definitely feel luxurious. That's about where the pros end. I was in the market for a backpack for everyday use. I shopped at other stores in the area, Saint Laurent, Moncler, Fendi, etc. All of the associates in those stores were extremely helpful, kind and attentive. When I came into Tom Ford, my friend and I were greeted by the doorman, and were offered drinks. At no point did any associates acknowledge us. We walked around for a few minutes browsing, until I got frustrated and went and got one of the associates who were huddled in the back of the store. He never introduced himself so I cannot give his name. But he said hello and asked how he could help- this is where the kindness ends. When I told him I was looking for a backpack for everyday use, something "casual" he made a face as if I asked him to eat 45 day old cheese left out in the sun. He looked absolutely disgusted. He looked me up and down, rolled his eyes and said "we don't carry anything 'casual..'". When he ended his sentence with the word casual he used his hands to make air quotes (people still do that?). I might expect that from a younger associate at a department store but a grown man at a high end store probably should be a little more professional. At this point I wanted to give him a piece of my mind but I decided not to escalate the situation and just leave. I guess his rude behavior was noticed by other people because at the same time another customer left the store as well. Maybe it was how I was dressed (jeans and a t shirt, very "casual") maybe it's because of the colour of my skin (I hope not) But I never knew this kind of stuff happened in 2016. Oh well. Anyways I'll probably sell my Tom Ford glasses and simply won't spend my money at this store or on this brand. read more

I arrived with a friend at 5:40 PM, twenty minutes to closing. I wouldn't normally do so, but he was visiting from Beijing and he really wanted to buy a few pairs of glasses. When we walked in we were warmly greeted by Yvonne, a very charismatic and friendly sales associate. She was extremely helpful and despite them being close to closing, she showed us so many sunglasses and optical frames to choose from. Her input was helpful, thorough, and optimistic. She helped me pick out a pair of stellar sunglasses and my friend chose a pair of sunglasses and an optical frame. Yvonne's customer service and sales skills were impeccable, seamless, and impressive. She showed me some of the Tom Ford makeup collection which I was thoroughly impressed by. My friend and I both walked away happy, discussing how pleased we were with Yvonne's incredible interpersonal skills and general social likability. She exuded positive energy and radiated a very magnetic glow.
