He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what was going on in a way that actually made sense, and got the repair done without any drama. The valve install was a nice touch since it should help prevent the same kind of failure down the road. Fair pricing, showed up when he said he would, and cleaned up after himself. However, if anyone is thinking of Grow…read moreand Control, do give them a chance as Jesus had been nothing but professional during our entire interaction. Prompt followup, prompt responses, no pressure. If it was in my budget, I really would have given them a chance on their professionalism alone. I didn't have to 'chase' responses. They came timely. Not overwhelming. They have a very comprehensive price breakdown and payment schedule, so payment isn't all upfront but in increments as the job is completed. Even declining they remained professional. Thank you again Jesus for your patience! I wish you and your company success for the excellent customer service.

Already time for another update wow! We've been with the awesome team at Grow Control 3 years now…read moreand I just can't say enough good things about them! Krystal, Jesus, and all their staff really provide professional, quality service and care for our yard and irrigation needs. We initially got started with them for a total clear out and clean up of our existing landscape and ended up sticking with them for weekly maintenance services and little projects here and there and have never looked back! Anytime there are issues, they are on it!! Today was another example - I asked Steve if he would just check up on my back sprinklers bc I noticed they didn't run Monday and when he did, he found a HUGE leak in one of our main irrigation pipes! Our house is kind of old and starting to need a lot of repairs so I wasn't completely surprised but the leak was pretty big. We had to turn off all the water to the house and wait for them to get one of their irrigation and plumbing experts over. Richard showed up almost immediately and had us all cleaned up and back in business in no time!! He even hung around to make sure all the leaking stopped etc. I was blown away - I figured I'd need to call a plumber and go through all that nightmare but no!! Grow Control took such good care of us! And this is the level of care and service we've received since day one! They're so fantastic- really takes a load of stress off my mind. They're caring, reliable, excellent at what they do, and very reasonably priced. We're still planning on completely redoing our yard - switching to all native plants - and when we do, it'll be the Grow Control team we trust for sure! THANK YOU everyone at Grow Control for all the years of TLC in our yard!

He was…read moreable to schedule me for the following week, arrived right on time, and was professional and easy to communicate with from the start. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He took the time to pull the weeds growing between the decorative rocks around our pool area, which is a high-traffic spot that has always bothered me and was often overlooked by previous gardeners. He didn't just do a quick surface-level cleanup--he was thorough, and the difference is noticeable. My front and backyard look so much cleaner and better cared for. He was also completely comfortable working around our chickens and rooster, which was a big plus for us. I'm very happy with his work and am looking forward to continuing with monthly service. I would definitely recommend Ignacio to anyone looking for someone reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.

On a Friday, Juan stopped by to survey our gardening needs, had some helpful suggestions, and said he could get started the following Monday. His crew got right to work weeding our silver carpet grass as well as trimmimg overgrown ivy and general clean-up work around the front & backyard. We soon learned that Juan & his crew were MUCH more than a maintenance service. Because there was some extra yard-design work we had held-off on, we realized we'd better tackle it now that we had such a capable crew. We had some design ideas and Juan said 'We can absolutely do all of that deconstructed granite work, design it with bender boards, pick-up your desired plants at a nearby nursery (as well as some gravel for design) and plant everything. In short, within 2 days, Juan, Daniel, Jesus & crew transformed an overgrown back area into a desirable drought-tolerant destination on our property. Not only that, they took down a small concrete block wall and custom-built us some really great swinging-gate redwood doors for easy access. (At a third of the cost a vinyl door company had quoted us!) They also did so much more (including scraping & painting the side of our 10' barn) and were always ready & willing to pitch-in however we needed them with really great attitudes and super-pleasant work ethics. Not only will they be our go-to garden maintenance crew, they will also be our first call for any other yardscaping we might need done in the future. Thank you Juan for being so easy to work with, reasonably priced and so responsive to our questions, comments & various needs. Another 5-star review for Gardening Service Co. by Juan!

My wife and I recently chose Joel to complete a long overdue landscaping project for our front and…read moreback yard and we are beyond happy with the result. Our project consisted of pouring 2 concrete slabs (1 along the side of the house and a second in the backyard), planting a boarder trim, and installing sprinkler systems in our back and front yard. Joel and crew completed all parts of this project with attention to detail and communicated effectively throughout. First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout out to the team lead managing the concrete part of our project. His attention to detail in recommending ideal drain setups in the sections where water had pooled in the past are exactly why we went Joel - we want to do things right the first time. After chatting with Joel, we installed the recommended drains, preventing a potentially expensive fix down the road. The rest of the project was completed with professionalism and Joel was great in communicating and working with our needs. Our one constructive feedback is that we did not receive a mock-up of the project before work was underway. We had a few last minute changes (the width of the trim around the backyard and the size of the mulch area in the front yard), but Joel & team communicated effectively and worked with us to make sure our needs were taken care of. All in all, we are so happy with our completed project. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and our new back/front yard makes us confident that we made the correct choice in choosing Joel for our project. Thank you!

BRING ON THE SUPER EL NINO!…read more Joel and Sons recently completed a much overdue project at our home. For years, our outside drains were clogged, and I found myself setting up pumps during the storms to get the pools of water away from our home. Every year, I would tell myself that I would get the drains cleared. Before the rains came this past winter, I hired a company to hydro jet the pipes. They tried to clear the drains, but because they were so clogged, their equipment failed. Again, I was setting up the pumps during the rain storm. So, I researched and found Joel and Sons. I met Joel and he examined our front/back yards. He gave an excellent and fair estimate that would fix the drainage problems. Throughought the entire project, Joel sent videos of the work being performed. He and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we wouldn't have any future issues. I am so impressed by Joel and Sons, and I will call them again for future projects. More importantly, I will make referrals to my family and friends.
