This is one of the pebbles that I found while eating rice. Thank god it was mine and not my 11 month old daughters.

Literally founds pebbles in my rice. I will never eat here again. Food is okay, but pebbles in my rice is absolutely unacceptable.

I've been here a couple times and it hasn't been great but this last time was it for me. I would rather save the money and time and get sushi from the local Dillons grocery store. Raw fish (sashimi) app sampler had unappetizing consistency and taste, grey fish in Philly roll and general distaste in quality of fish for other raw rolls. Service has been hit and miss here ranging from great conversation and attentiveness to recently a server who complained about other tables earlier in the shift and talked our ears off before even asking us what we would like to drink.

    Ahi Tower (Raw)

The Tower-Just the right mix of sushi to rice. Starting from the top: the tower appropriately sauced with just enough to share in each bite down to the end but not drowning in a sea of compensation; avocado is smartly selected even when out of season, spicy crab meat has the appropriate amount of kick while still allowing other flavors to come through, the rice is the right kind of sticky-not overly sticky clinging to the roof of the mouth or dry needing to be held together by compression; the tuna is a lively red with bold flavor. Highly recommend to eat in restaurant. The tower doesn't always make it home in the same structure it was intended to be enjoyed. Dancing eel roll: light fishy flavor complimented by avocado and cucumber delivered with a salty eel sauce.

Spicy Cowboy: shrimp tempura topped with lump crab and spicy mayo $10.50

Went back to Tokyo for another go around. Ordered the Spicy Cowboy Roll: shrimp tempura, topped with lump crab and spicy mayo (8 pieces)....this is by FAR the best roll I've had because there was nothing I had to pull out of it (I.e. cucumbers, avocado, etc). As mentioned in a previous post, I like simple, cooked and vege-less sushi. This sushi was perfect! The only thing I would change is the price ($10.95). I've been to all you can eat sushi buffets that cost less than $15/person for the same quality. Supply and demand....I get it.

Spicy salmon and spicy yellow tail rolls, minced fish with crispy bits mixed in. A soggy mess of flavorless fish.

It's a small little shop with a few dining tables. Aside from the main food menu, they also sell Asian snacks and animated figurines. They have a very nice big selection of food on their menu and I honestly wished I ordered something different for my first time. My husband had his usual stir fry udon noodles with extra toppings and I ordered their curry, egg drop soup and gyoza since it was a very cold day and I was in the mood for something warm and comforting. Honestly, I didn't enjoy the curry at all. It tasted bland and very sour, it lacked the hint of savory and sweet flavor that traditional Japanese curry usually has. The egg drop soup was also very bland and lacked flavors. The gyoza was decent and that was the only thing that I enjoyed out of all the three items I ordered. My husband noticed I didn't like my food at all so he took it back to the restaurant and they were able to exchange it to stir fry udon noodles. I really enjoyed the noodles! It was bursting with flavors and it had a good hint of spice to it. The portion was huge so I definitely had some leftover. Service is good and very accommodating. We'll be back to try other items off their menu!

Serving staff and kitchen were awful, zero manners. Spilled water from pitcher on table, me and floor and walked off. Kitchen staff bringing food out had apparently never heard of "excuse me" practically knocking people over. There were many items, but several of them were not replenished after the tray was empty during the 45 minutes we were there! The sushi rolls were sparse but there were some. The fresh fish sushi was non-existent. Why are we paying full price for a buffet that is not serving all the items it normally serves? Since I only taste items to see if I like them before going back, I was greatly disappointed because when I like a couple dishes and went back to get an actual serving, hey were not replenished. I am guessing this is because it was toward the end of the night. But at 8 pm when they close at 9:15 that is unacceptable. The best thing I ate was the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ. I should have just stuck to that because many of the buffet items were barely warm and the fried chicken items were old and too chewy. Our server was on it so that was good. We would not go back.

A small family runs the shop and puts their heart and soul into bringing authentic, fresh, beautiful food to their patrons. YOU NEED TO TIP THEM! Just for those reasons alone. The place was practically full and it did not take long to get our food. It was so delicious My husband and son ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen and the noodles had the perfect amount of chew, the meat was tender and delicious. The eggs were not umami eggs they were hard boiled plain eggs. The broth was tasty but not very spicy. We eat super spicy food though so it may be spicy to some. I wanted to hug the woman who worked there when I was leaving but instead I told her how the sushi was some of the absolute best I've ever had and then left an extra tip on the jar. It is SO HARD these days to find places that truly take pride in making beautiful / delicious food. Most of the time I can care less about the service if the food is as good as this. But the service was perfect too. I wish I could pick this place up and move it to Texas we started tearing into the food before I could get perfect pictures of everything but take my word for it. Give them all the Michelin stars!
