Was in town for the Salina marathon and needed to fuel up. I don't think ramen was the right fuel choice. but it was still delicious nonetheless. this place was packed on a Friday night so our service was slow. Ever had a meal that tasted so good, you wished your stomach were bigger or that somehow the meal didn't end? That's me right now enjoying the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen. I picked mildly spicy, and that was plenty spicy for me. I don't like food so hot that it kills my tastebuds. The pork was pan fried perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ambiance is average. There were a lot of people here and it was noisy with all the kids. Service was excellent for such a busy night and only one waitperson. Stopped by here on a gloomy October day. Ambiance is nothing great and the restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall on the south end of the city. Food took a little longer than anticipated and staff seemed very nonchalant about this. Ordered Ramen and it was very tasty. It was cooked to perfection. Hands down the best ramen in the area. The inside is so cute. Gives the vibe that you're eating ramen in another country! The broth is so damn good, I save some to drink next day from a mug. I travel weekly for work around the south. I've never left a review but felt this place deserved it. Probably the best ramen I've ever had. I got medium spice and it was perfect. Service was excellent. We came on a Saturday night when almost every seat was taken and we were still served very promptly and attentively. Food was amazing! Even our little kids were impressed with the appetizers and ramen. We tried nearly every vegetarian option on the menu! Spicy eggplant was THE best. I'll be dreaming about it tonight. Veggie sushi roll was nice with some purple lettuce in it! Spicy miso ramen kicked our butts and we're so glad it did. We even got a great sunset view. Visited for the first time and was not disappointed. Nice little sit down place and wonderful service. Food came out quick and was incredible. We had the Shrimp Shu Mai to start off which was tasty and soft. My mom had the Koi Udon, which was really delicious and had a ton of flavor. I had the beef ramen which was rich, and really delicious. Add some soy sauce to it if it's too rich for you and it does dial it down. Being from Hawaii, a chef and growing up with Ramen Houses I'm often scared to try things on in the middle of the U.S. However this was the best decision!!! Nothing short on authenticity, the brother is deep and rich, and light filled with the Asian flavors you'd expect.. Service was just the hospitality you'd get in Hawaii. Humble and appreciative. My family has gone here twice and we are not impressed. Stick to the ramen and you'll be good. The ramen is good don't get me wrong. We ordered take out tonight and we were upset with the messed up order and wrongly charged. The kids meal said it came with a drink and soup or salad on the menu. We got charged for the soup and drink on the kids meal. The kids meal ( kids pork chashu bowl) didn't have the sauce, seaweed or green onions. The pork was very fatty and several pieces were just fat. The fat was very tend and flavorful. We asked for an extra egg in one the ramen bowls and we got a fried egg instead. read more

Our party of 8 went on a Friday night, and we were able to get seated immediately! Our server took our drink order and got us drinks quickly. We ordered a variety of appetizers, sushi, yakitori, ramen, and rice dishes, and all were amazing. Be aware there is an 18% automatic gratuity for parties over 6 people. The Ramon is huge and delicious, the chicken Katsu is AMAZING, and the tuna jalapeño cream cheese starter is fantastic.
