Lots of trash on a small landscaped area when you enter the store and plastic cube containers full of water out side too?? Food is pretty good, went on a Sat. afternoon. Mildly busy. Drink refills and taking away dirty plates was fine. The desert bar was lacking. Good Crab Rangoon's, the triangle type! read more

It's always been great before. We went on a Sunday around 730 in the evening and they had pretty much everything already closed down. They say they didn't close till 930 but there was 2 pieces of sushi left and they didn't make more. Several items never got refilled. Not a great experience since we were expecting dinner like we'd had on several other occasions idk read more

Hong Kong Buffet - Chinese Near Me - Salina, Kansas

Went on a Monday night at 7:30 pm. The cost is $17 and soda is included. They also have soft serve ice cream. There were many items, but several of them were not replenished after the tray was empty during the 45 minutes we were there! The sushi rolls were sparse but there were some. The fresh fish sushi was non-existent. Why are we paying full price for a buffet that is not serving all the items it normally serves? Since I only taste items to see if I like them before going back, I was greatly disappointed because when I like a couple dishes and went back to get an actual serving, hey were not replenished. I am guessing this is because it was toward the end of the night. But at 8 pm when they close at 9:15 that is unacceptable. The best thing I ate was the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ. I should have just stuck to that because many of the buffet items were barely warm and the fried chicken items were old and too chewy. Our server was on it so that was good. We would not go back. read more

Way too expensive now! Place use to be affordable. They got too big for their britches! Service is rude!

Have I ever enjoyed an Asian buffet more than this one? I don't think so. The hardest part was taking a small amount of each delicious-looking dish, in order to save room for all the other delicious-looking dishes. Almost every one lived up to expectations, and then some. For once I am truly jealous that we have no local equivalent. A++ read more

It's a buffet, you get what you get. Food hot and usually refilled quickly. Arrived before 1 pm on a Saturday, NO plates on any of the buffet tables? Serving staff and kitchen were awful, zero manners. Spilled water from pitcher on table, me and floor and walked off. Kitchen staff bringing food out had apparently never heard of "excuse me" practically knocking people over. Our waitress stood at end of table and looked at how much tip was before muttering and walking off. Just fyi: was 22% for 3 adults. I Didn't have to leave anything! Overall experience: 3 out of 10. Used to be better. read more

Ok service, great food, large variety of food, good atmosphere, people there were fine recommended restaurant.

The food was very greasy and not cooked well I had the honk Kong beef it was beef with bell pepper and onion super greasy and fatty and uneatable and than had chicken on a stick chicken was way greasy and undercooked I had a sprite with my two things took three bites of the beef and two bites of the chicken and than become very icky and than had the shits all day long and felt nauseous I never complain much about food and stuff but they need a visit from the health dept and it is 20 bucks a person too pricy as well do not go here to eat you will be sick read more

I am being generous with giving 4 stars, but I'll tell my reasons why.The ambiance is decent, and parking is adequate. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday evening. There were a decent amount of options, more than other buffets I've been to into small towns, but less than you'd find in a city or a more densely populated area like California. The food options weren't bad, and the food was better than expected, but you'll still likely have a 3 star experience as far as food goes. The woman who seated us gave us sprite instead of lemonade like we asked for, but we didn't feel like correcting this. The staff was very friendly to my children though, and one even held my toddler's hand and gave all of my children lollipops! They did ask my children their ages, so the prices for children probably vary(I didn't ask). They provide high chairs, and they charge $1 per piece of sushi thag they have to throw(if you didn't eat it but put it on your plate). If you're from middle America or the Midwest, this food is up your alley, but if you're from California or New York, this will not be up to par with your expectations.I've been to many Chinese buffets, and yes, some were really good, more options, better quality, but of course those were packed and expensive. Don't come here expecting to be wowed, but if you just want to fill up your stomach, it'll do. read more

Hong Kong Buffet - Shrimp, sushi, 2 types of chicken, rice, potstickers, crab rangoons - Chinese Near Me - Salina, Kansas

Parking lot was full. Restaurant was bustling. Lots of choices on buffet. Prices were reasonable. Attentive service. Clean tables and buffet area. Food was mediocre at best. Wouldn't recommend if you are wanting authentic and/or flavorful Chinese food. read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The food was low quality, and it lacked flavor. The staff was attentive and kind, but that isn't enough to bring me back. Some of the dishes had a congealed dried out look as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The chicken skewer had splintered, and I was pulling pieces of wood skewer out of my mouth. Turning the only delightful part of my meal into a deadly choking hazzard. Thank God my kids didn't get that piece. My oldest, however, did spend half the evening sitting on the toilet, and she only had a single plate of food. DO NOT EAT HERE. For the $70.00 we spent on 4 people (that included a tip), we should have gone ANYWHERE else for a proper meal. read more

Scrumptious. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys eating. Overall as you can see by the picture the food is in fact consumable. read more

Fabulous food; great service; reasonable price! 100%! Will definitely eat here again !

Very different Chinese buffet, hot and sour soup needs more kick. Wasn't really anything to be excited about, standard regular dishes, to many chicken dishes. No Chinese mustard to be found. read more

A lot of seafood dishes to choose from. The sushi is ok, but nothing special. Many good Chinese dishes. Several desserts too. The servers were very efficient and the restaurant was clean.? read more

Not for $20 a person! I use to love this place, but i think they got too big for their britches! My jaw dropped when I received the ticket in the amount of $58+ for myself and my to sons ages 15 and 11. Their food is good, but its no King Buffet in Los Angeles! And the greeter lady made was creepy when she stood over the wall sepperatingating the table we were sitting at and the buffet just staring at us like we were about to steel something! Very uncomfortable! Then the waitress didn't even wait for us to get up and leave to pick up the merchant copy to see how much she was tipped! Not eating there again! read more

Good service, food is iffy some of it is cold and hard some of it is decently good. They're slow to replace empty trays of food. A lot of it tasted old. Pleased with service displeased with food. read more

Over priced. Added a large tip (15%) to each person we were paying separately from one ticket, which we didnt realize so they got double tipped by everyone. I got food poisoning from eating here. Will not go back. read more

Eat somewhere else. Save your stomach and your money. To anyone interested in eating here, be aware that the food will make you feel extremely sick afterwards. The food does not last in your stomach and will come out of either ends. The servers are very rude and force you to pay before you even eat your first plate of food. Prices are not as advertised. They will overcharge you if you are not cautious of price. It is a mediocre experience to dine here. There are plenty are better alternatives. read more

My family did not feel good after and made us feel like we needed to puke

Horrible, horrible service, filthy!! The employees are very very rude, will not help you, don't even come back to check on you! Food is very bad!! Got sick!! This place needs to go out of business, and or have health inspectors visit!! read more

If I could rate this place a "0 stars" I would do so. This place has definitely gone way downhill in last few years. Food quality was not near what it was 15+ years ago, prices are WAY up and the fact that there was a screaming brat (belonging to one of the employees) there made it all the worse. Will not be going back again. A huge disappointment and would definitely not recommend to anyone. read more

Great tasting food and huge selection. Everyone had masks on and they had sanitizer available. It was the best buffet I've been to in awhile. read more

I don't recommend this restaurant The food was hard and old I ate only one thing they wouldn't give a discount or refund money #nasty

My experience at this restaurant was a average trip to a Asian buffet. They had everything a buffet is supposed have such as fresh food, friendly service, and "ok" prices. The buffet was downright delicious, all the food was fresh and was replaced immediately after it was there for a couple of minutes. They had assortments of food, such as American food for those who weren't that adventurous, but still had piles of Asian food for those who were. The service was acceptable, they refilled the drinks without us asking. They took care of the plates and made the day better by taking care of needs we did not know we needed. Our waitress was in charge of the entire back lot so we saw her a lot, and that helped with our drink refills. Now, the prices were really crappy, our seven and 10 year old were served adult prices. I've never seen a place charge that for a seven year old, and that's why I took a star off. read more

Good food but lately priced themselves too high for the average family. I will not return for lunch for the 14.51 price tag. Diner is much higher. Too much for average food. If you go early dinner or lunch the food is not up to temp which means your getting leftovers from previous meals that haven't been warmed up yet. I see the future being less and less till they're out of business for good. Asians & Mexicans are stubborn and believe they're always right and don't change till it's too late. Seen it time and again , too bad. Hope I'm wrong read more

Ihave never had food that looks good but when you taste it it taste like it has been cooked for a month I don't recamend it

I've eaten here many, many times, but the price has went up and the quality way down. The crab ragoons were my favorite, but now they are not made with cream cheese and the substitution is yuck! Also the fried shrimp is 80% batter only 20% shrimp, way more batter than in the past. The price has increased, they charged a mandatory tip of which they charge tax on. Is that even legal? If you go, don't expect what you had before. We won't be back. read more

No stars would be better. They serve food with hair in it and then rudely make you pay anyway. When you refuse simply due to the way you're bring treated, they call the police on you and threaten to have you arrested if you don't pay. Family owned by people who clearly have no business in the restaurant, food or service industry and who have zero regard for their guests health or satisfaction. Don't eat here. It might taste ok but you don't know what they are feeding you. read more

I always like the food here, until one day of takeout at work yielded a rubber-band in my meal. Decent food AND free office supplies with your meal! read more

I got to this place at about 8:50 on a Sunday, they were already tearing down the buffet and Mongolian BBQ, which pisses me off because if your hours say you close at 9:30, STAY OPEN UNTIL 9:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have a lot of options when it comes to parking a big rig, so I was kinda stuck with what they had left. I did manage to get the Mongolian BBQ chef to cook me a plate back in the kitchen, so I did at least get some dinner. Folks, it's real simple: stay open until your posted closing time. Don't start dismantling everything and running the vacuum next to my table while I'm eating, because I don't want dust all over my food. I know I'm taking my chances getting to a buffet when it's close to closing time, but these guys were REALLY pushing the envelope. I wish I had Yelped this place before landing the rig here, because truck-stop food would have been better than this. The review about the rubber bands in the food simultaneously made me laugh and want to vomit. Big-time FAIL. read more

Great service. If you haven't had Chinese food in the Midwest, know that it sucks. It's manufactured solely to appeal to your average overweight middle American. On the spectrum of couldn't eat this - to that's on par with a mid grade little china shop in the Bay Area. This place is pretty high up. They're using fresh ingredients, toned down the MSG, and have a good variety. Dumplings were passable, egg rolls were actually hand made and quite acceptable. I would eat here again. read more

My husband has eaten here once with me and my family during one of our visits to Salina. If I could rate it just in terms of effort and being nice people, then it'd get a 4. But I'm rating based on taste. Usually there have been good crowds when I've eaten here. My folks seems to like it. The buffet is extensive, and when the seafood is out, that could be a good deal. The mussels I had weren't too bad. But in comparison to good Chinese food in America (especially the San Fran Bay area), it's not quite up to snuff. If all you've known is American-Chinese food in small mid-Western cities, it's OK. read more

The food was rather good. Great selection of meats, veggies, and sushi. There's about 60 different items to choose from. Though, some of the more spicier food are not marked and I found that out the hard way. They should put signs up for spicy food. The interior decor is intricately designed and quite gorgeous. Aside from the spicy food, my only other complaint is temperature inside the building. It's very warm, well over 80 degrees. read more

I peeked into the kitchen tonight, it was FILTHY! There was a small toddler back there too. After repeated requests several times from multiple families to add a baby changer in the restrooms, it still goes unheeded. Where is the baby in the kitchen being changed, I wonder? It's $150 for a baby changer online. I gave them $40 bucks tonight alone to eat their subpar food. They can afford to cater to the families who go there. The lady taking the money up front might as well have a giant stick in her butt. On second thought, that might make her pleasant. Don't go to Hong Kong Buffet! read more

Not bad - a lot more selection than I anticipated. Only qualms I had was in the fact that rd hey didn't seem to have anything posted about Sunday being "dinner only". Dinner is priced at 11.95 while lunch is 8.95. I will be back some time but for now its time for a nap. read more
