The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and well-kept. All the staff were so nice and welcoming, from the hosts to our server. Everyone was super helpful, which made the experience even better! For starters, they brought us edamame, and then we ordered the UNI shooter. It was good, but that aftertaste wasn't my favorite. I completely forgot it was made with sake, and I'm not a fan of sake. Call me weird, right? Most people love pairing raw sushi with sake, but not me! LOL. Next, we got the salmon spoon, and OMG, the salmon was so fresh! I absolutely loved it, and that sauce on top was SO GOOD! I also ordered two nigiri pieces and a temaki roll. The otoro was incredibly soft and fresh; it practically melted in my mouth! The uni was also super fresh and didn't taste fishy at all, which I loved. I was really hoping to try the sweet shrimp, but unfortunately, they didn't have any that day. Lastly, we tried the uni pasta. It was just okay for me. It had a slightly fishy taste that didn't sit too well with my palate. Overall, I had a great experience! Not every dish was a personal favorite, but the service, atmosphere, and freshness of the sushi definitely stood out. I would absolutely come back whenever I'm in town again!

This time, I ordered the teriyaki chicken and scallops with a side of bacon fried rice. The salad had an amazing vinegary flavor with a nice kick that really stood out. The chicken was tender and chewy in a good way, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the scallops had the right texture and were cooked just right. The bacon fried rice added a rich and savory flavor that complemented the meal well. Overall, another satisfying experience, and I'll definitely be coming back again.

I think when they noticed there was a small child in our party they decided to just give us 6 seats and 1 high chair just to squeeze in another couple, who was not in our party, at our teppanyaki table. I will say it was a pretty tight fit and it was disappointing they gave us one less seat because the high chair was just placed at the corner. We didn't want a high chair so we didn't really use it. Our chef was nice and the food was good but for the $300+ tip price I think I will go to a different teppanyaki next time. I was disappointed in how little food we were served and how little flavor the food had. Even the spicy sauce was not spicy. I couldn't really taste the bacon in the fried rice either. Oh and the soda was very watered down.

The Katana Roll had shrimp tempura, crab salad and avocado, topped with salmon, sliced onion, spicy mayo, sriracha, tobiko and scallions. I loved the combination of the fresh salmon with the crunch from the shrimp tempura, and the spicy mayo gave it just the right kick. The Maiko Roll was definitely the indulgent one. It's a fried California roll with cream cheese, topped with chopped shrimp tempura and spicy crab salad, then finished with teriyaki sauce. Crispy, creamy, sweet, savory and seriously filling. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings here! Everything came out looking great, the portions were generous, and both rolls hit the spot. If you like specialty rolls with lots of flavor and texture, these two are absolutely worth trying. We'll definitely be back!

We ordered from main and happy hour menus, and we enjoyed the sashimi and sushi roll (wrapped in cucumber). What we wished we had more of was the ahi tuna on top of the Namikaze Nachos. The wonton chips and the rest of the toppings were great, but the lack of ahi tuna, which was the best part, changed the entire dish for us.

Huge menu with a lot to choose from - I usually go for the bento boxes. The tempura isn't greasy but it's crunchy. Gyozas are good and fresh. The sushi I've tried has been tasty too. There's another side to the restaurant that I believe is the teppanyaki side. Haven't experienced it yet since I've only come for lunch. I'm wondering if they get a lot of business since it's so barren when I go. Hoping they get enough business because I do enjoy this restaurant!

Once we walked in we noticed it was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon, but nonetheless we weren't bothered or worried. Great music selection and the sushi chefs were a blast to talk with. Their humor made our lunch even that more enjoyable. We definitely made some friends and looking forward to come back another time.
